Nobody should expect a fully furnished and polished game upon the finished release, as no game is perfect. I gave this person some advice as to what to do that had worked for me, in hopes that would work for him - I don't claim this is a perminant fix.

I've been receiving the exact same errors throughout the week, and I did make a report on this 3 days ago and I've heard nothing back yet. Must be busy in the offices, idk. Eventually, what worked for me is to uninstall the entirety of my game files and re-install, then run the launcher and then validate game files via steam. Now the only errors I receive is when a server restarts (or stops) and then I receive an Authentication Error - Never the less, I can still run the game. Just remember this game is in BETA and you agreed to these terms upon the purchase of the game. That's what worked for me, I hope this works for you.

That's probably the best advice you could of given me. I thought I just had to wander the lands in hopes to find something to do, only to get bored. Setting my own goals on every playthrough sounds like a fantastic idea! I've met a few survivors, who were all pretty much KoS haha. I doubt I'll be a base building type as I do prefer exploring, and living off the land just like you. Hope to see you around, man and thanks for the advice 🙂

So I've been playing DayZ now for a couple of days, and I've got 40+ hours in the bag and I've played a few modded and PVE servers. I tend to quickly go inland in search for gear, but I don't really understand what to do next, and what I should be doing when I'm geared up (more or less). Can someone out there give me a few pointers on what I should do and how to make my playthroughs a little bit more eventful? 😄 I am struggling a bit on how to build a base to keep my stuff safe and I've no clue how to build a "kit". What are these Kits? ___ I apologize, accidentally posted in the PS4 section lol.

Hi! I'm new to DayZ also and I struggled in figuring this out. What you should do is to mentally note what the symptoms are such as vomiting. The duration of any sickness would vary depending on how quickly you could treat the illness. Definitely study the official DayZ Wiki and see if your symptoms match what you're seeing there - and how best to treat it.

Have you also tried VPPAdmin Tools? This is also a modernised admin tool a lot of servers use - and can be used to monitor your server in-game. VPPAdmin Tools does have dependencies though, that are updated on the Steam Workshop 🙂

I'm also having the same issue. I'll troubleshoot and see if I have any fixes. For now, have you tried to validate integrity of your game files? Also I'm sure post-crash, there is a pop up to save crash logs. Try to upload them for an expert to have a look at 🙂 __ I validated my game and deleted all workshop mods, just having "connection" issues.
