    Hanna RU High

  2. The "Initiative" word written on the map, has very big dots above the "i" letters. Much more distinctive than any other word on the map containing them (Nothing, Again, Warning). There's nothing in places marked by the dots on the map, checked. Jumping into the cozy Morse code rabbit hole, four dots mean "H". H(anna) comes to thems that wait. Steps to replicate, if you want the letter H (four dots) in a meaningful, catchy sentence: 1. Google: words containing four letters i - initiative is one of the results. 2. Go to quotes.net, type "initiative" in the search bar. 3. "Initiative comes to thems that wait" - A Clockwork Orange1971 is 7th from the top on the list.

    Hanna RU High

"Hanna RU High" is not a question, it's a statement. Question marks are there, where they should be (like in "Why??", "Nothing??") I checked for places that contained both R and U. RadUnin. I went to the tallest building in Radunin, assuming it would be a good spot for a sniper girl. But there was nothing in the church ruins. I also checked the roof. The next "high" location would be one of the hills. I went to the eastern one. There were artillery targets there. In lines, with spaces. So Morse code, again. I made notes and went to the opposite side of the village, to the artillery stands - that's where the targets are supposed to be seen from. Using a scope, if you read the bottom line from right to left, it says "NEAR". The next word, from left to right, assuming that the three dots that are not at the same distance one from another, are indeed one letter, and are placed like that to make the code less obvious (additionally, distance between the separated one is smaller than between neighboring letters), is EAST". The next one, assuming it's part of the same line, and assuming, again, that the three stones are indeed one letter and not two, is "S". And now, from left to right: (S) (EAST) NEAR. Why is one of the words written from the left and the other from the right? To make it less obvious? No idea. There is a structure right above, which might suggest such direction: O OO- -OO O So, (S) (EAST) or maybe just NEAR, buuuut... from the observation point (the tower?), or maybe from the targets? Or maybe... But you know what? There's a difference between puzzles being difficult, and ones that are just random and chaotic, like, for example, Bible verses encoded in neolithic structures using Morse code. Good puzzles are based on logical thinking, and not on random guessing, to make them seem more difficult. I know it's not easy to create them when people use map editors and check game files for possible solutions - which is just embarrassing - but it is possible. Here, I don't know if I'm trying to solve something already solved in Arma - despite the first sentence of the description of this map saying: "Livonia is the brand-new DLC map for DayZ". Or maybe the next steps of the puzzle are just not there and will be added in upcoming updates (new structures? items? buildings?)? Or maybe it's just an accident? I have no idea, and it's a bit discouraging. Therefore, if you think it makes sense, please look around for solution (if there is any). I checked the area roughly, not going to spend more time there. There are also other possible combinations on that hill, but I gave up on them. P.S. The missing post from my previous thread appeared, I don't know when.

Now I smiled IRL. Really. I don't like to spoil games to myself before playing them, and I thought I'm buying DayZ with Livonia map open to explore its mysteries, and it seems that I'm trying to understand some old, recycled and beaten to death map with old assets, which has been repurposed by adding a not-yet-existing storyline of Hanna and a Yellow King. And bears, sorry. That's funny. At least I'm glad I was the first to notice the Morse code, damn. And I'm not even mad. lol

Hidden message in Livonia archeological site

Hi! \o As I mentioned in my invisible post five hours ago, we are analyzing a five thousand years old megalithic construction, containing a fragment of a two thousand years old book, encoded using Morse code from 1840. So... we can't be serious 🙂 Joining the sites was the first thing I did, I checked the sinkholehole and its surroundings, including the fallen chimney (there's a bugged tile inside of the top part). So yes, I've been there too. But there's something else. Someone who designed and placed the megalithic sites, chose the axial design, which means they can be oriented. Because exactly that was their original purpose, and that's why there were built for (astronomy etc). So I noted their orientation and overlaid the lines on the map. Two of the lines are parallel (or almost, hard to say using in-game compasses), so I doubt it's accidental. The lines designate an area. That's my interpretation. BUUUT if all this is bullshit, which is possible, then using this kind of megaliths and placing them on the map is just wrong. It's like putting an arrow, and not expecting people to look in that direction.

Sooo... Over four hours ago I wrote a post about how to find the location "encoded" in archeological sites, but it's still not being published by Admins. It says "Posted 4 hours ago · Hidden".

This is part two of the archeo puzzle. I assume that those who wanted to try to solve it by themselves already did it, so here is my way. Disclaimer: All conclusions are based on analyzing a five thousand years old (on average) megalithic construction, which somehow contains a fragment of a two thousand years old (to simplify) book, encoded with a (Morse) code created in the year 1840. Obviously, the results are as strong as the logic behind it 🙂 And If I made a mistake somewhere, then everything is wrong. Feel free to find what's wrong, and lets find another solution. Noticing some sort of pattern in the way stones were placed in the Northern archeo site was the beginning. Morse code seemed like a plausible solution. The message contained the symbol ":", so this made me sure it was not gibberish. Then I checked the Eastern site. I tried to find a code in it, too, but all I was able to get out of it, was the axial construction. I started paying more attention to the orientation of the axis. At first, I thought that the Southern site didn't have an axis, but it does. I drew straight lines from the sites in corresponding directions, overlaid them on the map, and voila! The area designated by all four lines seems to be the answer to the Moses' Morse code message, "Egypt sucks, but I'll take y'all somewhere else. Trust me, dude." 😉 (Maybe there are other elements of the lore in the area I'm not aware of, as a new player, so there might be other/more interpretations.)

Assuming that my calculations are correct, this might be the place the hidden message relates to.

I hope so! It's so exciting to look for signs and clues, in my opinion . I'm glad that there's more in this game than just hoarding loot and shooting random people. A map, compass and some reading can explain a lot!
  12. After Buying DayZ Livonia Edition recently, I decided to explore the world to know the game better. Far from towns and gunfights, I headed to the northern archeological site I noticed on the map I found in a car. Three rows of stones, laying in an order. Now you guess the rest, it's interesting 🙂 Good luck!
