    If it is running Lingor, then it isn't an official DayZ server. Because of this, there is nothing the DayZ staff will be able to do about this or want to do about this.

    Please also review this post on what admins can/cannot do! http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/22386-admin-abuse-what-you-need-to-know/ Admins do NOT have the ability to just randomly kill players whenever they want. Also, just because you didn't hear a gunshot, doesn't mean you didn't get shot. Guns have a specific audible range...the AS50 for example cannot be heard past 455m. So anyone that uses the AS50 correctly would be far past that range while shooting you. Hence the reason you didn't hear a shot get fired. Please read up on what admins can/cannot do before trying to taint an admin's reputation and accusing them of hacking.

    You do realize that hackers will tend to send a global message in the middle of the screen advertising the hacks. Don't immediately assume it is the server admins, because 99% of the time, it isn't. In the future, post screenshots of these events to further back your claims.

    And this is the admin how? Don't always assume it is the admin doing stuff. Hackers have the ability to type out global messages as well.

    hate to tell you, but the coordinate you gave isn't exactly the middle of "no-where." A lot of people have probably thought about setting camps up in those areas. Hell I had a friend log off at my camp and then log into another server only to find another camp in that exact same spot! Don't always assume it was a hacker just because he found your camp.

    the log you want to read is the scripts.log file. This will tell you all the scripts players are running that are being logged by BE.

    Of course if you were using a bypass script, which most of the hackers do, then he won't have logs for it! So stop with the lying crap. You got caught, deal with it.

    Well only 1 actually spawns in the server since they re-released the choppers and I know for a fact it shouldn't have spawned yet since it blew up at the beginning of the week, and with the 7 days respawn on choppers..... I'm still searching through the logs to see if I can find anything (gotta love 23k page long log files). They haven't joined the server since that incident, but we will continue investigating it! Thank you for the video and the report on them.

    Players Hacking RCon

    We had a player last night on US 1218 hack into our RCon by not using the RCon password etc. He most likely hacked it through BattleEye. He was able to begin banning people and also unbanned a few of our bans. This is really more of a warning to others that players are now going through and hacking the server's RCons!

    Well luckily we have our server running off our own dedicated box and our main server admin can easily get rid of them. But I just figured I'd put the warning out there that players are now doing it again!

    Good job Brezmans! I for one think its funny that people jump on server admins so fast about banning someone without having the logs. Most of the time I bet these people have never even seen the log files. I dare you to go look through them one day and search for scripts that 99% of the time are not there because the players are using a bypass script. Killing players twice within a minute far away from the coast is plenty of evidence to ban for hacking because there is no way in hell there can get there that fast. People need to start supporting the server admins and not the hackers.....let them do their job.

    Please tell me where it says you cannot ban players for spawning in weapons/vehicles? That would fall under cheating/hacking which is a justifiable banning offense.

    Thank you for the post. I will check our logs to see if I can come up with a name. It was probably the same person that was spawning vehicles etc.
