  1. Hi everyone, Hope you're all doing well and staying safe. I've tried to search for this via Google but not found a conclusive answer to what I am after. So hopefully I'll be able to get one by asking direct. I'm testing the Linux experimental server files with no time acceleration factors applied, meaning the server will run in sync with the local time set on the VPS. It seems though, that the time acceleration have no bearing on the rates of hunger and thirst. Every 10 minutes, players are having to scoff down a buffet style meal just to get them through the next little bit. I could look at adjusting the rate of spawn of food items, but that would be taking the easy way out. Where would I be able to adjust the values that control the rate of hunger and thirst for players? ie. How fast or slowly before they need to eat again.

    DayZ Linux Server Manager

Hi all! Hope you're all doing well and staying safe. I recently created a script for server admins to manage their DayZ servers that use Linux environments such as Ubuntu. With the 1.14 update, the experimental client received support for Linux servers natively (no more running via wine etc) and after spending a day or so getting acquainted with starting the server etc, I decided to write a shell script to help automate a majority of the functions such as starting, restarting, stopping, updating, and wiping a server (for those who do periodic wipes). https://github.com/hyp3rstrike/DayZServer_LinuxMgr Still adding stuff to it, and have a few things to do like work out how to plug in a graceful shutdown. Requires TMUX packages to be installed as it runs it in a TMUX session. Could have used screen, but eh.
