    People will just start killing ARMA process with a hotkey then. Also, IIRC this isn't implemented yet because the timer would introduce new possibilities for inventory duping. Combat logging is inevitable, deal with it. For now, just record everything you see, with a time tag.

    Not exactly. The sound sample itself is moderate, but people are still hearing you within a mile radius. It's just a differend sound, but noise levels and propagation are still the same. Your shots can be heard all over the city almost like if you were standing next to them.

  4. It's much simpler for an experienced sniper, more accurate, and sometimes much faster. Other than that, personal preference.
  5. In ARMA, any reticles in general (not only mil-dots) are highly dependent on your FOV, aspect ratio and who knows what else. For example some metallic fences are penetrable even by a pistol bullet. Bigger guns can even shoot through some walls or corners, but they tend to deflect the bullet randomly. The glass is glitchy, that's true.

    I just can't take it seriously when you are suggesting a system based on automatic screen capturing and OCRing and claiming yourself to understand something. You need to learn: - what the hardware overlay is - why taking a trusted screenshot is a major task for any anti-cheat system - why you can't take a trusted screenshot in practice despite theoretically having a lot of ways to do this. - how does OCR actually work and a lot of other things. cool story bro

    This is the hard part (no kidding; taking a screenshot is much harder than it seems). This is the impossible part. My guess is you should stop suggesting things without some actual knowledge.

    IIRC vehicles are already saved when you exit or enter them, and the menu item is just an artifact from the past.
  12. *sigh* OP, don't act like an angry retard, it's an alpha and you're the tester. You're testing the mod, not supporting it. It can go black at any time until release, your "support" can be replaced at any time for dev-hosted servers (it will be awesome and much better than the current state BTW). And you're still whining about things that cannot be fixed at a time. Really? Tell me more bro.

    Technically, third-party ring3 code injection into whitelisted overlay drawing application can be easily detected in lots of ways, and battleye doesn't do much in that direction AFAIK. Op, if your story is actually true (I doubt that, no offense), you should write to BattlEye support, there's nothing that can be done here by anyone except them.

    First, what's your monitor resolution and aspect ratio? Mine is 1920x1200 (16:10). In some Russian thread we came to the conclusion that the table should be calculated for each setup individually. Perhaps even FPS has something to do with it.

    Wrong, it's zeroed at 385. Also, I double-checked your table, it's horribly inaccurate.

    I have a strong feeling that the mildot system in ARMA depends on your resolution, or at least on aspect ratio, so this table is possibly wrong for a lot of people.

    Unfortunately when you see that the server count has exceeded 763 (and that's only US tag), you can be sure that nobody will give a fuck. Good luck with your appeal though. This game needs dev-hosted servers badly, it's 2012, not 2002.

  23. It's very quiet for people' date=' but still as loud as M107 [i']for zombies. They don't hear the actual sound sample. And AS50 aggro radius seems to be the same, if not larger, than with any other sniper rifle. And the sidearm is useful only against zeds, that's why M9SD is mostly useless for a sniper.
  24. M1911 all the way. M4SD is useless for a sniper since any sniper rifle is loud as hell anyway.
