Far better then for the game to pick furthest respawn point from body... then you don't penalise everyone. However at the end of the day, anyone could chance upon that body and steal 'your' loot, not just the original owner.

In reality it should take far less time to destroy a wall than it takes to build it using the exact same tools... in that same reality though the base would probably be occupied and defended at all times. If only there were servers that didn't allow offline raiding... oh wait

What's your problem with them recovering their loot? I mean someone is gonna take it, whether it's their killer, a random or themselves. No chance anyone will be happy waiting 5 minutes to respawn every time just because it pissed you off one time lol. You could always set your own server up that had this penalty if it really mattered to you but i doubt it'd be popular enough for the mechanic to matter ;)

On top of that, to stop people just sharing stash locations with players not in their immediate vicinity the initial X could just be a waypoint which when reached would draw a dotted line to another X in the same general direction you were heading (to within say 15 degrees of the actual location). Having a random amount of these waypoints on any spawned map would make it nigh on impossible to pass on the location of a stash to anyone else until it is actually reached.

Nice idea. You could even have it happen automatically. Imagine if every time someone buried a loot stash a single in game tourist map spawned somewhere at random on the server with an X marking the spot. Anyone finding that particular map could then take on a potential treasure hunt themselves or even trade it with or have it stolen by other players who might themselves go in search of it. If the stash is dug up by the player with the map or after a certain amount of in-game time has passed from when the map is first picked up (whichever comes first) then the X disappears and it's a normal map again. If the player who buried the stash digs it back up or a random finds it, or even if it's just junk, then tough luck, no treasure, but hopefully you enjoyed the hunt 😉

You don't need to worry about lore or realism incorporating electronic code locks. You can simply change the way you interact with the current ones. I mean is pressing a button for a given number really any less realistic than holding a button until a given number appears? Nope. On top of that make the current locks stay on the door instead of dropping off when unlocked (which really is unrealistic as you'd just leave them hanging on the door irl) and allow player characters who have entered the code manually once to store said code so that they don't need to reenter it every time they pass through. Yeah i can really dig a few of these suggestions. Many have already been made and ignored so far but we can live in hope! Your solution to the underused dynamic toxic zone is perfect and makes so much sense. Artillery fire, flare goes up, players close in, gas falls, zombies die, players run in, pvp mayhem with the visual deficiencies, claustrophobia and intensified breathing from wearing a gas mask. Love it! Can't even really be abused seeing as even camp-waiting to only enter while gassed comes with increased risks of encountering others doing the same. Right now as you say no one is fully prepared for the gas so you just leave the area as fast as possible if you want to live. Far better to draw players together for a ramped up gameplay experience. Making the gas thicker so visibility is quite heavily decreased could really add some intensity to the mechanic too. At the moment sometimes the gas can be as good as invisible even when you're right in it. By needing just a gas mask for dynamic gas you'd solve the issue of the completely OP almost guaranteed kill of the gas grenade mechanic too. Imagine throwing gas into a building that another player occupies but not knowing whether they have a gas mask and having to go in wearing your own just to be sure. With gas as thick as smoke if the players being gassed have to run out you they'll neither see you or you them until they are clear of it or you're mere feet away in it too. This would bring cover advantages to both those breaching the gas and those evacuating it as well as a completely different pvp experience to the game when using gas.

The console version is exactly the same as pc... you are talking about weapons from heavily modded versions of the game, which are nothing to do with Bohemia Interactive. Unfortunately due to the restrictive nature of consoles the vast majority of games cannot be modded. Take solace in the fact that those same modded servers you are watching Nezar play also include modded heavy armour, which can tank more than one shot from those same guns, so you are back at square one ;)

Personally i don't think anyone should even be getting a gun until they reach Tisy mili, the very middle of it. I've been one shot popped all round the map even with a poor man's plate and it's not fair. Guns are just too OP. Harumph.

Set up a local server dude... install the admin tools... choose a map and play God. You can fly all around above, below and through the map but if driving is your wont then just spawn a vehicle in at your cursor, click a button to repair and refuel and off you go. It's how i got over my fear of bears 😉 -

why do you want to travel from one area of the map to another when you can just stay in the first area on a high loot server and have everything?
