id assume removing the ability to log out whilst swimming would fix that. Perhaps initiating a respawn interface instead of log out whilst swimming? Maybe during the glitch the character model is still said to be in the laying position so it's not easily addressed.

Can't wait for this years updates. Hopefully a dedicated Mouse and Keyboard 1st Person Perspective official server in the near future for console for those of us using mouse and keyboard but not having access to a dedicated 1st Person Perspective official server.

I'm usually solo and after almost 2 years of playing I teamed up with a random guy I was able to communicate with through game chat and like you said; we couldnt hear eachother on and off for almost an hour until we resorted to party chat. Definitely an issue.

Tried playing DAYZ on controller but due to the interface and game mechanics I found the vanilla MNK option to be more suitable but unfortunately the community is somewhat split between controller and mouse and keyboard on console. Looked through the server list on controller when I first started playing roughly 1.09 I want to say; so I gave controller a go before I settled in. I noticed controller dedicated official 1PP servers were available and still are till this day. Unfortunately, MNK players on the XBOX platform aren't as lucky; being isolated to 3PP&1PP servers. Alot of servers were removed In a previous patch but adding a 1PP cherno and livonia for MNK XBOX players and perhaps PlayStation players if they don't have the option would definitely be a good idea. Of course, one could argue to simply play 1PP on the available 3PP servers; irrelevant due to it already being an option for the controller community. Perhaps play community servers. unfortunately, it's give and take; 1PP with unlimited sprint, 1PP with 5x increased loot table etc. I feel that implementing an official 1PP server for mouse and keyboard on console would give the mouse and keyboard console player base that was initially addressed when the option was implemented further incentive to continue playing the title on console and continue to stay involved with the community across all platforms.

you said you play on ps4; im sure youre aware console allows alt accounts. Which in my opinion shouldn't be allowed but thats what people tend to do on console in order to stash gear or set up alts at bases. Its an exploitable addition that pretty much eliminates the need for spawning in bases not sure how ps4 or 5 works but its a thing on xbox. Not to mention I was playing official swept VMC theres a guy camping the of 2nd story wall above the stairs in prison fully geared i had a mosin double barrel and a stab vest popped him in the face with a mosin round. Im a happy guy; guess what? field backpack full of steaks to the brim camping there for who knows how long. Picked up his AK; what next? He logs in on an alt he had set up nearby and we trade. Probably had a 3rd acc set up there. You get my point, alts on console are exploitable. Defending a base as you probably know by now on console is simply a matter of how many alts are you willing to make.

This is definitely necessary; I'm referring to XBOX ONE exclusively solely on the grounds that it's what I play on and the duping as I'm sure Bohemia is aware of is a cripple to the healthy side of the community that plays the game strictly dependent on the loot economy. On another note; I mentioned this on the 1.13 dedicated patch forum along with the official DAYZ discord to an admin directly; stating that there is no dedicated official 1PP mouse and keyboard servers on XBOX ONE, not to mention there is one sided cross play; meaning you can play with a controller on a mouse and keyboard server; however you cannot play with mouse and keyboard on a controller server. As well as no mouse and keyboard experimental servers. It's a factor that really splits the community and I myself have been playing mouse and keyboard strictly since I started playing (1.08). I'm immersed in the game enough to be on discord and the official forums so I feel its something that in my opinion should be addressed. My play style is somewhat alienated because I play mouse and keyboard on console instead of controller. I figured this would be a great time to point this out considering the topic put forth.

Need official 1PP dedicated mouse and keyboard server available on xbox; controller has dedicated 1PP servers. There isn't even a standard variable perspective mouse and keyboard available on experimental so I've been alienated from experimental until stable since 1.08 when I started playing. You can use controller on mouse and keyboard servers but you can't use mouse and keyboard on controller servers. I just don't get it.
