Add a lot more destroyed not working vehicles in the streets in cities and checkpoints. to aid in cover and concealment of movements and make it feel more like the people who lived there were trying to evacuate. this will give it more of the authenticity of an apocalyptic scenario that people panicked and couldn’t get out.
