    i keep on getting infected with something. is it because i got hit by infected? not even cut. i cant work it out, 1 infected hit = death? ?

    Dayz is the worst and best game ever. Cant say in real life i am ever happy about finding cat food. I still think the guns should be phenominal lethal. I mean a .223 should uin anyones afternoon. As well as those cr app y .380acp. Good conceal and carry.

    dave- put in a ticket. defective accuracy.- yeah wobo is a great source of info. it was that youtube clip i watched. i still think they should have guns go inaccurate when they get damaged and ammo too, but thats just nit picking.

    Balance is a must. there must be severe risks for pvp and pve. Balance pve enough it should change pvp. If survivors cant survive after the fight. More loot gets recycled. More danger and less reward = balance. i play quite stealthily, as i learned that i leave alot of evidence and all the times i got caught out was leaving infected bodies about. I get caught by 2 players too. I cook on a camp stove, i burn excess equipment / ammo before i log out or i dump harmless stuff where it spawns. I never use fires, unless i have to. I started dumping equipment, or unused. Changing the infected would make big changes

    er.... thats dayz. running around, the idea is you pick up every bullet at the start, and hold on to it until you find the right gun / magazine. take low tier shotguns, no magazine and shells are everywhere. perfect for surviving. then using that gun, to survive, hunt, kill players to get to military to get sks or other gun. but by then you should have more ammo. i mean come on. you`ve played this game before. i bet you ignore IJ70, stuff, but that in itself an amazing resource, say you collect 100s of bullets for that, and then get a scorpion. its a winning combo. when i loot up i pretty much stick to shotgun, then get a cz527 to upgrade to a .308 or sks, and i might have a pistol with me like .357. the .45acp is to rare, so might stick with lower tier, i used the revolver once as backup in a wolf attack. the game isnt getting loot, its the time to get loot.

    yeah, the shovel was severely OP and it got changed to a billion kg, and un repairable. what about some balance of OP body armour. make it un repairable, pristine would be like gold. damaged wouldnt be worth the weight. it would directly change the PVP guys. all of them that get geared to those who can shoot straight with anything. now that is balance. any one would have to think before pvp. thats the choice. and thats the game. the decision.

    Hi, i absolutely love the game, DAYZ for me, is a way of life. there just is no other game that has that feel. being shot with any .30 cal is unpleasent, and should kill, unless wearing body armour. some body armour is rated for like 2 shots of .308. make body armor un repairable. Dayz does not need more guns, there are so many guns there already and without fixing the main funadamentals of the game the game will die. introducing an m16 that 90% of players will never get. its great that the devs are trying to link up between PVP, PVE styles of play. its great that that has been thought of, and the whole experience is getting better, now infected are a danger. the whole game is a balance. i love wolves, they offer a brilliant experience. and i still have goosebumps every time, being caught out in the open. The new gun, new sights are all geared for pvp people. throwing more and more guns at dayz is not going to improve the experience for 99% of players. we all know cars have problems.[end of]. i would hope that the devs impliment craftable clothes. leather / fur etc. its about time bows were implimented, i feel the game now getting geared for call of duty style. just a little too far from its core survival aspect. i know its always going to be there. alot of stuff has been taken away from the game, such as tripwire/grenade / flare /stun. that is enjoyable to use. thats the interaction some people want. Same as leaving notes for people, but that probably would be abused. There are so many mods that are created for DAYZ that the devs know they are worth it, like ADS slower, etc to just make the experience truer. Meaning its less like call of duty. but thats from a PVE standpoint. i think partly implementing all the old stuff, would return some balance. i`m not going to speculate how many staff BI have or what is achievable. it really is a great game, no game is flawless. more !

    i have too. the only changes that keep cropping up are shotguns, it is frustrating. they should be the fastest handling guns ever. rifles are way different. the other part thats annoying are slugs, they are totally nerfed. shotgun "00" buckshot is a powerful short range cartridge. shotgun slugs should be even more devestating but maybe under 100m. shotgun slugs weigh 600 odd grains of weight, .223 weigh about 60 grains? both at different speeds though. shotgun slugs can take out extremely large game targets. the shock factor of slugs should be alot higher against body armor compared. so 50m for buckshot maximum, lethal up close, less lethal at 50-75m, medium shock damage at 50m +range. 100m for slugs maximum, lethal up close, and touch less lethal at 100m. high shock damage. i liked the 1.10 updates, because shotguns were about right. rifles are for 100yards +. i hope they increase the range of radios, it will give a little more interaction for lone survivors. there are radio towers and most radios use repeaters so range shouldnt be short. i also like the idea of a scan channel, when anyone speaks on the radio, anyone listening on scan, will hear white noise (scan channel function) , then they can change the radio to the exact frequency ! its not private, but thats radios. player interaction will be beneficial to the game. we`d have to turn off the radio before entering towns, to stop radio chatter / noise attracting infected. it would bring in "lone wolf", "squads", "survivors", to interactions. thats what the game is about, interactions, whether it is an M4 at 200m or a radio at 50km. having the ability to craft leather clothes wouldnt go a miss in days. Shoes should last longer. i liked the idea of using a shirt or tee shirt as an insulation having the ability to make bows and arrows, even for simple hunting and taking down infected. most of the suggestions can be very simply implemented.
