In DayZ, Walpurgis Night is an annual event that takes place around the night of April 30th. It is a reference to the real-world Walpurgis Night, a traditional spring festival celebrated in some European countries. In Germany, for example, people light bonfires, dance around Maypoles, and wear masks and costumes. In Finland and Sweden, it is a time for outdoor picnics and parties.The origins of Walpurgis Night can be traced back to pre-Christian pagan traditions, which celebrated the arrival of spring and the renewal of nature. The festival was later Christianized and associated with Saint Walpurga, who was believed to have protected the people from witchcraft and other supernatural forces. During the DayZ Walpurgis Night event, players can encounter special locations, loot and cosmetic items that can only be obtained during this time. Around the bonfires, you will be able to find seasonal unique items.
