Hi, you will find more info in the 'DayZ in 2024' article (like this one last year), scheduled to be published around February when the plans for the year are more finalized. Please note that a few changes may still occur. There's been a lot of work behind the updates in 2023, more than in 2022, to be honest. All I can say now is that there's much to look forward to in 2024. 🙂 Regarding character wipes, it's a challenging topic; some prefer wipes, while others would rather avoid them unless absolutely necessary. Wiping characters doesn't solve duping issues. Addressing the duping methods is what helps, and that's something we continue working on with every update.

They last for weeks but mostly months. Also, we always notify prior to shutdown of any temporary servers so people have time to move.

Hi, because I already answered you in a different thread and this is not really related to 1.23 update. So what exactly is your question? If it's possible to one-hit kill with these? Hi, we would need more info - what are ayou trying to change? It is possible you might be doing something incorrectly, e.g. not running the mission that has the .json file.

As @supernick mentioned earlier. I am sorry guys I did not mention it on the forum, last wipe I started doing it, but I was sick last 2 weeks and I honestly forgot. I will make sure it's mentioned here next time as well. -
Hi, yes. "After a thorough assessment, we have opted to proceed with map wipes to accommodate 1.23 update's map changes. Your character progress and position on maps are safe. While not mandatory for Community servers, it's recommended. Thank you."
