Humm ... If you know something more, it wouldn't hurt to give at least some indications. On the fact that "making noise is useless"... maybe... you're right, but what else can we do? Maybe you try, it can serve as well as not... but badly you have only lost some of your time, but... if it worked? Generally an "active general discontent" is more "burning" than some complaining on a forum and that's it. Perhaps still little, indeed certainly still little... it would be better to complain even on the media (which is also done)... but if you "let it go" because there are "higher blocks", then surely none of the developers will ever do anything . I remain with my idea that if ALL those who complain about something also did a Feed on the BiStudio website... maybe... it wouldn't change anything, but... maybe... it could also change, if there were really many... and why not try, then?

Well ... honestly ... I have read it many times but I am not convinced that this is the case. When I arrive somewhere I already find everything, including food (apples, mushrooms, etc.) if it isn't there, even if I stay in the area, nothing changes. After reading on the forums that the spawn comes late, I have tried several times to move away and come back, but never noticed any changes. Certainly tried many times in my private server (that I have more time for the "tests" :-D), but even those times that I tried in a public, I got nothing more and I only risked my life. What I can confirm, in my private server where I can drive with cars without major problems, is that if I take a long trip with the car, many times as soon as I arrive, the Zs are not yet present ... or are few ... I have to wait 20/40 seconds and the zone begins to fill with Z that, from the spawn point, begin to wander around the zone. But for objects and food, I never found any differences. I'm not very convinced of this either. The difference is not that big ... the spawn of the objects in the empty points is decided with a precise time interval with the timing written in seconds inside the file "types.xml" ... the "distance" with the player is only for avoid that the player "sees directly" the spawn, so it should be short, but above all there is a precise time for each object when it has to appear again. There is no need to leave a city, nor wait even 5 minutes ... if the object in question is queuing for the spawn in that precise place, just go around the house and the object will be there on the way back. If that item isn't queued for spawn, getting out of town and waiting up to 5 minutes is useless. Obviously the longer you wait, the more objects will surely be reborn ... but for a matter of "queue" decided by the game via the "types.xml" file, not for your wait. I don't know if I managed to make myself understood with Google translation.

I don't think most players are that stupid. I remember that with this 1.10 even the firefighter clothing (waterproof and with excellent insulation according to the description of the game) already gets wet with little rain and you start to consume a truckload of food, always complaining about the cold. And in any case, even with simple cotton clothing (that it is military, not a simple shirt, of course) we are in Chernarus, between sea level and the hills that have only 450/500 meters the highest peak... we're not in Siberia or Alaska. These are the "usual" (unfortunately) bullshit of the developers who, instead of trying to make a serious and plausible game, enjoy making it a "Rubik's meatloaf"

Please report on BiStudio Feedback by adding videos as well. And if you find other reports on defects that you recognize, sign up. Maybe... maybe... if a lot of people do it, the developers will have to do something.

@ EzyStriderPS4 In a serious and logical game, yes, but this is an abstruse and grotesque game ... a kind of "Rubik's meatloaf". ๐

Premised that my only experiences with helicopter crashes depend on my private server, where I drive around with a car and have increased the number of crashes a bit, as well as certain loot items. I've never seen one on public servers yet. However, I believe that all these difficulties mainly depend on the spawning system of the game's items. Me too, in my private server where at the moment I play alone and I have increased the spawn in general (without exaggerating, I do not want a "ridiculous" game) ... in heli-crashes I find mainly banalities. The rarest weapons are in fact ... rare ๐ To get a 75-round x AK magazine I had to increase the maximum number of this items a lot ... and I'm still waiting to find the second one (then I put the maximum number back down). And in my server I'm the only one who owns and stores weapons ๐ Regardless of what you write in the xml files, it is the object spawn system that is a bit "weird". P.S. Don't overestimate the VSS, it's not a great weapon. I have not done comparative tests with other weapons, but just in this period I was traveling north to try the VSS and the 9x39. On the distance it also takes 3 body shots for one Z and it is not even well silenced (the DEagle with the suppressor makes much less noise) On paper, the SVD looks much better with 7.62x54 You should download and install the "DayZ Community Offline Mode" (by Arkensor) and try the various weapons ... even directly against a bear, as I did ... it could change some "beliefs" ๐ Now, as an Anti-Bear, I use a Vaiga with a 20 magazine (all easily available already in Tier3 also in public server) that with buckshot ammunition can kill a bear with 4/6 shots. When with the .308 Win I had to use 8/10, with the .357 = 9/10, with the 5.56x45 = 10/22, with 7.62x39 = 16/24, with 5.45x39 = 17/24 and with 9x19 even 41 ๐ Min and Max depends on where you can hit the bear and I haven't tried any other calibers yet.

For me only one would be enough: 1) A realistic or at least plausible game. No more exaggerated consumption of boots, knives, weapons and various tools. Backpacks, jackets and vests can be deposited in tents and cars as they are without having to empty them completely. Realistic food consumption. No more "waterproof" clothing that gets wet as if they were not waterproof (including boots). That the fishing action is much longer, like when you really fish. Clothes that dress together (t-shirt, shirt, sweater and jacket) according to the temperature, as in reality ... and then the character who no longer complains about the cold. Etc ... Who knows if I'll ever be able to see a game like this ๐ง

I don't know what problems there may have been in the past years, I have been playing since 1.07. But what you say doesn't make sense. It is obvious that if you archive an empty backpack it will take up little space and will not allow you to put anything in it, but if you archive a full backpack it will occupy all the space it occupies (because it is full of stuff) and will not allow you to add anything that does not fit in the assigned space. If programmers can't do this I don't know, but to consider it a deliberate choice is idiocy. Just consider the behavior of "Drysacks" or "Protective Cases". They can be archived with the stuff inside, but you don't put one into the other creating "infinite archives". I don't know what could have happened years ago, but if the solution by developers is "prohibit the storage of full backpacks", then I understand why this game is perpetually broken and every time a new patch arrives, new failures also arrive ... ๐ Don't joke, come on ... ๐ This is a plain and simple BS If you are really serious, what you say makes no sense. Imposing damage to things to force players to constantly search for fixing and/or substitutions is a BS that distorts the real game: survive the real difficulties, not the bullshit created absurdly at the table Maybe we have 2 completely different ideas of this game. I look for realism (or at least a greater possible likelihood) and I try to identify myself with the character I play ... and this bullshit makes it all incredibly stupid and unreal making it difficult to identify and forget that it's just a game (which it should do a "good" game). Like a movie, I rate a game as long as I can forget it's just a game. You ... maybe ... you are not looking for realism but only "challenges" of any kind, realistic or not ... logical or not ... you just need to have difficulties, whatever they are, and face them. The context of the game doesn't matter. Well ... as long as it doesn't violate any game rules, everything is fair, but let me disagree with your philosophy. But it is a fact that this game is always "in the balance" between the (alleged) realism and the "unreal and absurd challenges" ... remaining in a limbo that "is neither meat nor fish" ... displeasing a little to everyone . In my opinion he should make a final and drastic choice: Or realism, even if it reduces the potential "challenges" Or gogo challenges, even if stupid, unrealistic and absurd. And leave the "other choice" to the Modders. At least in this way we can have a clear game and many possible variations that are equally clear. As it is it is just an "absurd meatloaf".

Besides the urgent and important need to fix the serious flaws of the game (cars in the first place) before adding anything else, as some have already written... personally I would like to see more realism. For me this is fundamental, much more important than any other object, system, philosophy. I don't care if it gets easier or harder (I don't play for this), I don't care if it gets uglier or more beautiful (I don't play for this)... I care for it to be as likely as possible (I play for this). When I play I would like to forget that it is just a game and to identify as much as possible with the character I use in the game. This would make a great game for me. I can understand the various flaws (even if this game has too many), but not the stupid choices deliberated out of all reality and logic. Just an example to better explain the concept: Backpacks that need to be emptied for storage in tents or vehicles. Something that is neither in heaven nor on earth... completely absurd and unrealistic... Or the consumption of boots, they seem made of cardboard... or knives, tools, weapons, etc. This is all just ridiculous! Or the Sun's rays with 1.08, and many other things that make this game unrealistic and very stupid. Perhaps even more than the many flaws of the game, because I know that it is done on purpose... ๐ and that it is a deliberate choice that could be avoided without major problems JUST WANTING it. This makes the "problem" more annoying. ๐ Almost the developers wanted to make this game "stupid and ridiculous" on purpose ... ๐

I was updating my private server's xml files to the new 1.10 with my changes and I found this. In ^ types.xml ^ I have this new string <type name="Fabric"> <nominal>60</nominal> <lifetime>28800</lifetime> <restock>0</restock> <min>35</min> <quantmin>30</quantmin> <quantmax>100</quantmax> <cost>100</cost> <flags count_in_cargo="0" count_in_hoarder="0" count_in_map="1" count_in_player="0" crafted="0" deloot="0"/> <category name="tools"/> <tag name="floor"/> <usage name="Industrial"/> <usage name="Farm"/> </type> But I can't find what ^ Fabric ^ is exactly. What the hell is that? Thanks

If you find the system, even after a long time, please post it below. It happened to me by mistake, my first big tent, in my base, I put it without paying attention to the bag (first time I put up a tent, I didn't even know about the bag to repack it) and I put it where I could and the bag is under a pile of earth. When I needed to move it, I couldn't do it anymore, not even digging with a shovel. That time the tents weren't even destructible, otherwise I would have. Now I'm fine with that, things have evolved and complicated. Now they have changed the characteristics of the curtains and it is difficult to position them almost anywhere that is not perfectly flat. But the tents in the streets and squares are completely useless: a ticket should be opened. And at the moment I keep the base as it is, but I have always been curious about how (and "if") it is possible to pack a tent without being able to see the bag. But I'm afraid it's not possible and whoever set up those tents did it on purpose. If you need them interact every 45 days, otherwise they disappear. If they bother you they are now destructible (it seems to me). If you wanted to move them, I think it's impossible (by now), but ... if anyone knows the system ...

I don't understant what is dayz game for?!

Premise: this game is NOT very "realistic", but only "very complex" (often in an absurd, illogical and unreal way) Having said this... I have read a few really useful tips. Great fireman jacket and pants and obviously hard to find. But the first 3 tips to give to any new player in difficulty are these: 1) Use a game map with loot points. You will avoid wasting time and energy for nothing by spinning around without finding anything. When you are born you have to find a road, follow it to the entrance of a city / town and read the name on the sign. So you will know where you are. The rest comes accordingly. This, in my opinion, is the best: www.izurvive.com 2) Read a Wiki about the game. Is the best way to know what you can do, how to do it and the characteristics of various materials, clothes, weapons, food, etc. I use this: dayz.gamepedia.com 3) Always choose low-player servers at first: you avoid most killers and marauders and, above all, you don't have to share the loot with too many people. The servers have a fixed amount of loot, the more players there are, the more the loot is divided. The rest comes with practicing and reading the various game forums. Or, if you can, find a player with some practice, who speaks your language and wants to teach you a little bit of the game by playing. And... 2 ways to practice more "peaceful" without having to enter a populated server: 1) You can open your own server (the one you can download from Steam) and you can play in a full vanilla server but alone (if you don't open it to the public or friends) and you will have peace of mind from the marauders and you have all the loot for you (and with practice you will also be able to modify the characteristics of the game through XML files) 2) You can use Arkensor's MOD "DayZ Community Offline Mode". This is a bit complex to explain in 2 words, but it allows you to do direct tests of accessories, weapons, animals, infected, etc. and you can modify a lot of things in the game and then transfer them to your personal server through some code obtained and added to the file "init.c" If you know Italian I can explain how to do it. Follow at least the first 3 tips and try to play a little ... the rest will come with practice. ๐ -
He talked about food: cans of food, fruit and mushrooms. I don't think there are "hoarders" of fruits, mushrooms and cans. Also because there will be so many that collecting them all to block the spawn seems to me practically impossible.

The one about "cheats" is a long diatribe, not only in this forum ... and I too would have something to write about it but this is not the place and the time. I only post 2 links that, in my opinion, are "enlightening" to those who have never "clashed" with these ignoble people who IMO should be fought much more seriously than what it is being done, and for so many other games and companies , NOT just for DayZ & BI. [snip] and these are the easiest to find, enough only use Google... I don't think the "best" & "undetected" can be found publicly only by using "Google"... :-/ And I just want to mention that: * - The special software "Anti-Cheats" does NOT always work well (they do not take everyone and also have false positives... and [tried in person with PunkBuster] lend themselves to "being piloted" to harm those who have nothing to do with the cheats. Must take care seriously on purpose, and with a budget to commit because these cheat software are on sale and you also have to "struggle" to be able to buy the "good and working" ones. A bit like "infiltrating the Mafias", are the video game companies that they should actively deal with this! * - NOT always those who use a cheat is the "idiot child" on duty, who enters a server and starts killing everyone like crazy..[snip] ๐

Just listening to the gunfire reveals obvious duping.

Just for the record, since no one mentioned it: Did you know there is a 75-round magazine for KA-M in play? This is the page of "dayz.gamepedia.com" (old but still valid). From the "types.xml" file (v. 1.09) <type name = "Mag_AKM_Drum75Rnd"> <nominal> 5 </nominal> <lifetime> 172800 </lifetime> <restock> 1800 </restock> <min> 2 </min> <quantmin> 20 </quantmin> <quantmax> 60 </quantmax> <cost> 100 </cost> <flags count_in_cargo = "0" count_in_hoarder = "0" count_in_map = "1" count_in_player = "0" crafted = "0" deloot = "1" /> <category name = "weapons" /> <tag name = "shelves" /> <usage name = "Military" /> </type> It can be seen that it is very rare (5 nominal & 2 minimum), that it can only be found at helicopter crashes (deloot = "1") and if there are 2 players with one one in use, there will hardly be a new spawn. So I guess almost no one has ever seen it, I myself only found 1 in my private server only after I "inflated" the "types.xml" file, otherwise... after many helicopter crashes, I hadn't seen any never even one. But it exists and someone could have it and use it. I haven't tried it yet, and I don't know if the AKM can fire all 75 rounds without get ruined or jam... but theoretically it's possible without tricks and deceptions. Is expected from the game. P.S. Sorry for my bad english but I must use Google -
Hello. I came across this post by chance (long to explain) but I think exactly the same way and ... I also have my own custom server for pure PvE ... and I enjoy it too. I looked for playmates in my language who thought like me but I haven't had any luck yet. Unfortunately I don't speak English, and for reading and writing I'm bad. I'd still like to try to interact with you in some way ... surely we won't shoot each other for "language problems" :-D. If it's okay with you to try anyway we can discuss ... Placed in your server, or if you want I can also try to host. I'm modifying mine (I'm learning to do it ... with time and difficulties) to try to make it as "realistic" as I can. I don't use the game's VoIP, but Discord (or TS3 if preferred). If it's okay with you to try ... at first through chat, which is easier for me to understand the written text ... then if you use "school" English, maybe I'll get my ear. P.S. Sorry for my bad english but must use Google ๐
