You just want them to make the game as difficult as possible so that you can "overwhelm" your neighbor (more inexperienced than you) in a firefight. You speak of a "survival pandemic", you claim it "realistic" (in words), but you want it to become like a complex and absurd war FPS. Use the term "HardCore" as if it were something more "cool" and "expert", but generally it's just a jumble of complex nonsense to make a game unrealistically complex to satisfy twisted minds or who, having a boring and banal RL, look for the biggest and most absurd weird challenges in a PC video game. Even legitimate, but DO NOT talk about "realism"... you mention it but you demand the exact opposite! Many continue to complain about the hit indicators as if they had removed the lid of the "Pandora's box" of DayZ... and continue to pretend nothing of the rest (not all, to be honest, some even complain of all the rest... but I read that it is not followed very much)... that in DayZ "everything is fine, Madam la Marquise". I wish I could make the jackets, trousers and belts from the tanned skins of the killed animals... It seems to me that it is not yet possible... at least I have not succeeded... P.S. As in the title... DayZ Vanilla with low pop and play alone. In your opinion, which is the best way to hide and/or protect a vehicle? Closing it in a base is useless, as soon as they find it, 5/6 grenades are enough and everything is already gone (already happened several times). Leaving it lying around in sight by removing the wheels and, perhaps, even the battery and spark plug is out of the question, too much work to put it back into operation and, in any case, the first passing by could do it. And removing the wheels is always a high "take-off risk" operation. I took off a Golf found fresh and never used just by adding one of the 2 missing wheels. Hide it in the woods? I have already found some, in the woods near "useful" places... generally I left them where they were, but if I needed them, given how all the others do, I would have no qualms about taking it. And so do almost everyone. In a wood "lost in deserted areas"? And can you go there with a Volga, a Skoda or a Golf ? (Maybe with a Niva, if I found him) And then going to retrieve it when needed becomes a feat... always with the doubts that in any case someone passes through it anyway. A garage made with a double turret? They are very difficult to position, these fu** programmers have made them more and more impossible to assemble... The system of "hiding" it among other carcasses is nice, but it will work until someone goes to look for spare parts. In this case, you will immediately realize that it is a usable car and not a carcass. Yes, on a server where I play little, I also have a car at the "edges of the map", but hidden among the bushes... and after more than a month it is still there (I still hope at the moment I am writing 😁) , but it is a server where I play very little and where I have no base yet, the machine is not essential to me. I need a system to hide a car near the base that I have (on the outskirts of a northern city; but I'm thinking of changing that too because it has already been raided 3 times), so that I can use it when I need it without having to make long journeys or complex reconstructions. Given that I agree perfectly with what you say and what you do, even if I fear it is useless... unfortunately... but "Repetita Juvant". However, in the vast majority of the videos you post, no one has the readiness to immediately press the brakes and immediately turn off the engine at the first signs of instability. Are they all children with 10/20 hours of play? I have saved myself many times with this system. Is the only system one I know who can do something: inform the server that the machine "must be stopped", and hope the server "understands" it. Perhaps it should be repeated many times, so that everyone becomes aware of it. Many lives could be saved 😁

Why block the NVG completely? Not need just for PvP, but for the whole game... anyone who wants to play even at night (as well as many other games, if they do not provide for a night in light twilight sun, they directly provide a pair of night viewers by default), must use a couple of NVGs, to fish, hunt, build, loot... you can't do it without seeing decently. Then, since it is DayZ and you also have to defend yourself from all the other players, it is essential to defend yourself. With this patch, the NVGs have been moved from military zones (Tier 2-3-4 & max 5... however hard to find) to just Heli-Crash ... that is almost impossible to find! I, in more than 900 hours only on public servers, I have NOT seen even one! And on some low-population servers I even turned with a car a bit, so I was able to see a lot of Heli-Crash sites in a short time. Is one of the rarest things in the game (and even more stupid for how they were made. I would have to write even on this, and the new patch does NOT help because the sound is useless if they are so rare and the Russian ones do NOT do any smoke neither and are practically invisible if you do not stumble upon them by mistake, I know this well from my private server where, to be able to see at least one, I have increased the number considerably and turned always with a cars). And it is NOT enough! They also imposed the " count_in_player ="1" ", ie the maximum number of NVGs (always equal to 5) is counted NOT only on the map but also if present in a player. This means that it is enough that in a server there are 5 players with an NVG that it will NOT spawn anymore! And I think it is well known that helicopter spawns are for the most part bullshit and banality found all over the place... the specific things that SHOULD be EXCLUSIVE are very rare even in Heli-Crash. Imagine how common it will be to find an NVG now. WELL. This will only favor some big clans, which will be able to have the exclusivity and night predominance in the various public servers and/or dupers and cheaters! At the moment I have almost all my dolls (in the various hives) with the NGV. But as soon as I die, just knowing that it will no longer be possible to find one, I don't know if I'll still want to start over. I have tried the community servers before (PvE only, I DON'T like PvP) and they are extremely boring (with traders) and even more stupid (with the herds of bears and herds of skeletons). That's not DayZ anymore. DayZ "should not" be a pvp military shooter, but in fact it is more and more, precisely because of the programmers' choices. NVGs are the best defense systems against this and those who deny it, or despise it, perhaps it is precisely for this reason: they DO NOT want others to be able to defend themselves effectively. Lately, following the new (unfortunate) patch, I don't play as much anymore. I logged in today and, in the game from the Steam overlay it no longer loads any player name, it seems the server is always deserted. What is it, a new unfortunate setting of "paranoia" or "distorted vision" of the game ... because it's just a game ... a fucking game just for fun ... and you can also see it well from all "poetic licenses" that are taken with respect to what "should" be the reality of the context that the game purports to present. More and more disappointed and embittered... 😞

Not for FPS players, this is also a FPS game, for "War FPS players"... it's not the same. And even before that they took out the 20 magazines of the Saiga, and gave spawn only in helicopter accidents, which I have NEVER seen one with at least 1200 hours on public servers. Try shooting an AK or M4 without a suppressor and see how much crowd comes around you... not just the Zs, but also the "Rambo" on duty who hears you, follows you and kills you shortly after... Play at night without an NVG, even just for loot, fishing or hunting. Not to mention that you must also defend yourself from all the "Rambo", the marauders and various "Heads of D**k". I saw a video of Wobo where he showed that the infected, in the carbonated zones, are much more aggressive and resistant and it seems that it is practically impossible to deal with them with sidearms because anyway you will receive damage to the anti-gas suit and you will die from the effect of this.
