    More Dance Moves!

In DayZ, we've come to know and love our ONE dance move. Our characters have been dancing (terribly) for a while now. Everyone has been doing the exact same moves over and over again. Why not liven our apocalyptic survivors with some more grooves? You developers could have quite a lot of fun with it, add your favourites jigs, maybe the communities' too by hosting a poll. It'd make gloomy Chernarus that much happier. By no means should this be a priority as we all know there are more pressing issues in DayZ. However, if you do feel like you need to add something extra in the next update - maybe teach our survivors a thing or two about breaking it down at disco... Make us proud Bohemia! 🙂

Allow us to grow Bushier Beards

The fact that beards only grow to, at most, a cleanly trimmed beard doesn't exactly seem realistic for apocalypse survivors. I believe, if possible, we should be able to grow big bushy beards overtime on our male characters. Just to give them that rough, worn-out look. Maybe the beard could just reduce down to a trimmed one when wearing masks which cover the face. Or you could restrict players with huge beards from using items which cover the face, thus encouraging them to shave. Let me know some thoughts and suggestions about this please 🙂

    Livonia Specific Clothing (+Zombies)

Since Livonia is meant to be a whole different nation to Chernarus, I feel there shouldn't be the EXACT same Police and Paramedic clothing which has russian elements such as (but not limited to) the Blue OREL gear or the russian text on the back of stab vests and paramedic gear. Could you please add some unique Livonia Police Department Clothing? You could base it off of what Park Rangers wear, or maybe base it off of the real Polish Police uniform? You can even implement specific variants of officer caps, baseball caps, tactical vests and pilotkas (side caps) to match the real polish police uniform. As for paramedical clothing, you can pretty much just replace the russian text on the red paramedic clothing to polish. Obviously, if you do go through with this idea, you'll need to edit the zombies which appear around Livonia that are affected by the change of their clothing. I hope you do consider this idea as I think Livonia does need a little bit more love 🙂

    Soviet Ushanka?

There probably should be a Ushanka that has the Soviet Insignia on it (Basically have the exact same soviet red star logo that the Soviet Officer Cap has). Maybe the Ushankas should also have an option to have the ear flaps to be flipped up? Would be nice to see.

    SVT-40

The Tokarev SVT-40 battle rifle would fit perfectly into the setting of the game as it's of soviet origin, widely distrubuted during the world war and cold war eras meaning it would be available during the apocalypse and it uses 7.62×54mmR! It'd be like a Mid to short range VSD. (Give or take some minor differences)

    (PS4) VOIP Usernames

Not sure if this is an issue on Xbox, but there isn't a setting for players and server owners to turn off the usernames appearing on screen when using game chat on PlayStation. Please allow players to turn this off as a HUD option, and allow for Server owners to turn this names off for everyone on Nitrado. Thanks!

    PPSh-41 + (WW2) USSR Clothing

The Combat Helmet, Soviet Officer Cap, Pilotka, Tanker Hat and Mosin Nagant rifle were frequently used by Russian forces during WW2. If these items can be found in Chenarus, surely the clothing of the historic soviets should be present too, right? These are some examples of the clothing which could be added - (Click on them to view them): Example Another Suggestion, please add the PPSh-41 Submachine gun. It'd fit perfect with the game. This cheap and reliable SMG fires 7.62x25 Tokarev rounds. Also, it can have two different types of magazines - a 35 round mag and 71 round drum mag. It's extreme firerate makes it deadly yet unstable, balancing its pros and cons. Thanks for reading, stay safe, survivor!

    SA80 Assault Rifle

We all know DayZ needs to have more of a variety of guns. The SA80 would fit perfectly into DayZ. Firstly, it's a bullpup firearm, already giving it something unique to other weapons. It also uses 5.56×45mm rounds which are already implemented in the game. Some attatchments, such as the ATOG and Combat Sights could be used. The standardized suppressor can also have another compatible weapon if the SA80 is added. Unique items linked to the gun can be 30 round mags and maybe a polymer version too. Larger magazines can be added too. The gun and the mags can have green variants as well. It's iron sights may also be removeable, just like the M4. A rail and standard handguard could be added, even a polymer one if you wanted to. That'd be amazing if this gun got put into the game. Please put some thoughts, suggestions, opinions. It's all appreciated. Thanks for reading!

    Different Camo Clothing + Patches

There are only a few different types of camo present within the vanilla version of the game. To add some variety, why not add some different camo clothing which are used by some other countries? For example, you could create and add some clothing which use: Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) - Used by British Forces Flecktarn - Used by German Forces (Similar to Combat clothing present in the game but it's slightly different) Flora Digital - Used by Russian Forces (This should be a variant of Combat clothing and Patrol clothing sets) There are many different patterns you could add, but these are some I think would be realistic to the setting of the game. You can add anymore you think would be good. Another Idea - Patches. Patches are used by armies to show rank, role and (sometimes) allow the soldier to show their personality. Some are funny, while are others are a simple symbol. Here are some examples: US Armed Forces - Rank Patches Sample of Tactical Patches Sample 1 of Military Medical Patches Sample 2 of Military Medical Patches US Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Patches They are usually either attached to vests, shoulders on clothing or sometimes backpacks. In they game, they could be a totally new item which could be attached on to military clothing as an attachment, or they can just be a texture part of the clothing (like the word PRESS on the ballistic vests). These are just some thoughts and ideas, please share your thoughts. Thanks for reading, Survivor!
  10. So I've been playing DayZ for about a year now (on console). One day, I was searching around a military camp and stopped to eat a can of 'tactical bacon'. Then the idea hit me - Why aren't MREs been implemented into the game? MREs, for those that don't know or can't be asked to look it up on google, are sort of mini-care packages of food. They contain non-perishable/preservable foods and usually in transportable sizes. They're typically used by Military forces, and some 'doomsday' preppers, and have been reliable for decades. I'm sure there would be quite a few laying around the lands of Chenarus/Livonia. In-game MREs could be like First Aid pouches, which contain usually a set of medical tools and equipment, but instead they could hold a variety of foods that players can stockpile or transport. MREs would be also an opportunity for the developers to add new consumable items. (MREs usually have different menu sets so they can have a randomly picked assortment in each pack.) Hungry for a beef stew? Just add some water. Maybe some tactical crackers? It's in the pouch, waiting for you. Feeling thirsty for a bag of powdered coffee (which can be combined with boiled water to drink)? There are many possibilites for what can be put in these MRE bags. If the developers can't add any new foods, they can simply just put existing food items (e.g a bag powdered milk and couple of cans of food) inside of the MREs. MREs would most likely spawn in military establishments but I can see them being in the odd household or hunting camp. MREs would solve some issues in the game. Firstly, there seems to be a lack of food on some servers (at least from my experience on console). Finding one MRE would set you up to survive for the next three or so days. Part of a military roleplay community and sick of bacon? Cut open that MRE. Squadmate's stomach rumbling? Share out your MRE. Feeling generous and want to go deliver some supplies to freshspawns? Just hand 'em an MRE and they're off on their way! I think adding this may seem like a small touch but I believe it'd make the DayZ experience that much better. Feel free to add some suggestions/changes or maybe some opinions. Thank you for reading, survivor!
