We don't care about anything else, you can even stop updates altogether, just fix this so we can use mods again like we did pre-1.09. Ever since 1.09 we've had to remove more and more mods due to this bug causing the server to freeze during startup. The mods are arguably the best part of this game and what has kept it alive for the last year or so, but now they are crippled by this bug.

There are plenty of zombies to keep you busy, and certain locations will spawn straight-up hordes, so watch out. Endless base-building options with BaseBuildingPlus and DayZ Expansion base building, in addition to Vanilla objects. PvP and base raiding is allowed. There are extra Traders beyond the standard Green Mountain and Kumyrna. Custom vehicles with reasonable prices, and enough loot to go around for everyone. Here are just some of the customizations our DayZ server has: ★ Zombies & Custom Zombie Spawns (LOTS OF THEM & VERY dangerous!) ★ Chernarus' Most Wanted Bounty System (Buy a bounty token to put a bounty on a player, kill a player with an active bounty or survive the bounty to earn a nice reward!) ★ Extra Vehicle Spawns (More vehicles spawn in more places, even some nice ones. You won't have to walk far unless you want to). ★ Extra weapons and gear, in loot tables and at traders. ★ Modified loot spawns (more loot spawns in more places, but not too much). ★ 10,000 Rubles Start Money (Get it at the ATM near the traders). ★ Helicopters and boats (You will need them to get to certain custom places on the map). ★ Toxic Zones with high-loot (You need special gear to go in without getting very sick). ★ Active admins who are helpful and will regulate. ★ Grow your own Cannabis and sell it, or smoke it! (CannabisPlus mod) ★ Gather Poppies and craft cocaine! (They grow in forests, chemicals in industrial areas). ★ Custom bridge to Storozh prison island (This is now a supermax facility with zombie HORDES). ★ Advanced Weapon Scope system with mounts that are compatible with nearly all weapons. ★ Server restarts every 6 hours (12 & 6 am/pm EST) with 15min warnings. ★ Epic Base Building capabilities! I know this thread is old but I'm still hoping for native Linux server support. Linux > Windows for servers, hands down. Any plans for this in the future?

This is a ridiculously stupid, short-sighted decision. I can't believe you would suggest people move their bases to a new server after you've just implemented a system that punishes people for hopping servers by moving them far away, sometimes back to the coast. Luckily, the server I play on is not in that list, but I am still seriously disturbed by the Dev's decision here. I've been a long-time BI supporter and own almost all their games, but this stupid shit has got to stop, otherwise I cannot continue to support Devs that don't listen to their players. It really seems like you guys just do whatever you want with the game, regardless of the feedback or complaints you receive from the playerbase. Think about this long and hard before you make a rash decision. And if this is just to save money, as I know servers can be expensive, then just say so. The private servers are a joke, like someone above said they are mostly 10slots and most of them empty or private. I am staying away from the private servers personally because I dont like the idea that all my shit is on one server that I can't move from, and if that server disappears or the owner decides to stop paying for it, then all my shits gone with it. That's just my 2cents.
