Not sure what happened, but our server went from normal, to raining 100% of the time for over a month, and now it has been 100% dry and clear sunny skies every day for the last few weeks? Wondering if we will ever see the rains again now. I wish they have where we could adjust the weather, I'd like to get it back to the occasional rain or normal Livonia again.

Does this still work? On our server, we want to reduce the rain (or turn it off completely if possible). Can you help us? The reason for this request, is the past admins do not know why it rains in livonia 100% of the time...the rain actually never ever stops, so they want it off, or back to how it was originally or even less if possible.

Bump, please someone has to have an answer for reducing or eliminating the rain in Livonia.

I too would like to know as the rain on a private server is too much for the small membership we have, and they frankly want it off or reduced by more than 75%. Just too much rain to enjoy the environment.

Editing the init.c file does not seem to work after the patch.

Is it possible to run DayZServer on a 32 bit Windows 7 OS? I have an older 32 bit system that has the resources to run a DayZ server, but not sure if it is possible?

The magazine desync issue has been around, but I just got plagued by it on 3 different rifles in a row! So to me, it feels like the update has increased the issue, if anything. It feels terrible that every time I log onto the server, I have to run thru what feels like a 3 minute drill of dragging the "ghost-mag" to my hotbar, then switch that "ghost-mag" to my hands, drop it to my vicinity, and then take the rifle back into my hands and then load with a different mag from my inventory! This is such a strange thing to have to do each and every time I log onto a server. It just should not happen in a released game. Same with the inventory issue, to grab anything you find that you want, you can't just hit F, you have to drag to hands, then drag to inventory. I will be so happy when these issues have been addressed and resolved.

Thank-you radamantyz, I did what you said, putting the AKM in my hands, dragged mag to hotbar. Then clicked to take that mag into my hands, it worked. I then dropped the mag on ground, grabbed a new mag and put it into the AKM. I then put the AKM on my back, and waited around 4 min then logged off. Server restarts in approx 1 hr, so I will wait to log back in after the restart. I hope this works! What do I do about the M4A1 I have, there is no mag in it (empty) , but I cannot put one on it? Just loaded it onto my server, and it is working beautifully! Editing the serverDZ.cfg file worked perfect. Fantastic map!

I merely edited the serverDZ.cfg file, instead of "chernarusplus" I changed to "enoch" and worked perfectly on my home server.

I would like to know how do we activate the Livonia Map on my private server?

For as much as it rains in Livonia, can we have a way of drinking or collecting the rain water? Dieing of thirst, while it is pouring rain for 30 min to over an hour seems strange and awkward. I was in a deerstand dieing of thirst, but also protecting myself from the cold rain during a long thunderstorm. I kept thinking, "why can't they allow us to drink the rain water, to survive?"

What happened to all of the USA based experimental servers, they are all offline?

I see no experimental servers up for North America (South East). when I try to play the EXP version, all servers appear to be offline. Will they be coming back? I was in the middle of having fun with 4 others and now we are all waiting.

Thank you for that info. I will hold off then and wait to rejoin my same EXP server once the re-activate them, without being booted to the coastal areas.

What happened to all of the USA Experimental servers? I do a search and can only find two from the UK at over 245 ping to them. I was playing on a DayZ US Southeast 1-1 (Experimental/Unstable) server for some time, and poof, no announcement and it is gone?! It has been gone for over a week now, and losing hope it will ever come back online like the others. The previous EXP server that disappeared was DAYZ US CentralEast 1-0 server, that is when I moved to the SouthEast 1-1, now it also has been taken down most likely. The same thing happened to the previous USA EXP server I was on, it was just suddenly taken off with no announcement. The same thing has happened to 3 regular official servers (non-exp and non server hop, just moving to a new one once the previous one is taken offline for over a month) I played on where I had bases, cars, etc... and one after the other have been removed. Why is this happening? Kinda useless working at developing anything on these official servers as they are suddenly just taken offline indefinitely. The worst part of it all, is that each time I expect it to happen (updates) I load up all of my weapons on me and when I start a new server, Im back on the coast again (happened again this morning when I was forced to join a new server due to my previous 1.04 official no longer being available for over a week or two now. There also seems to be a problem on the timers, when servers crash. Example, I am running about, server crashes I get logged off. I log back on and am forced to wait 60 sec to join because it thinks I did not wait for the timer to logout, when in fact it was the server just restarted.

Same thing happened to me a few patches back. The wolves do not always howl before finding you. Sometimes we are just in their hunt path and they come across us and do not provide early warning. When it happened to me, I was running thru a forest and heard a sound to my left, looked over and saw a wolf running alongside me quietly, then looked to my right and saw two more. As I spun around drawing my weapon, was when I saw I had a pack on me with 3 to 4 more following.

Try this, for the meds to work, you must be full! Now to get to full for both water and food, is trickey due to throwing up. So eat up slowly, until full, then fill with clean water slowly again until full. Once the bands on your icons are at full or close to full (give them a few minutes) then take charcoal (in case it is Salmonella) or Tetracycline ( bacterial issues) and you might even need to take two sets. Also during this time, you need to stay dry and warm (out of the freezing rain for example) .

Anyone know what repairs a "Badly Damaged Barrel"? I found one that must have spawned like this, and am wondering how to repair it, if possible? Epoxy putty say it will repair hard plastics, like helmets, in a DayZ Wiki. I'm not sure if Epoxy will work. I tried duct tape, it doesn't work.

Well today I "almost" mustered the courage to go to a 1PP official server where I had a character that I last played about 1 month ago. Immediately, the screen gave me the "extended time due to server change"!!!! So I quickly hit the LEAVE button as I do not want to end up on the coast again for my normal weekly player. Bohemia DayZ dev crew, please fix this as I have had to come back from the coast 2 times already. I've gotten to the point where I can only play until the server goes dark, then I have to logoff, because I do not like playing in the darkness. I just wish I could play on another server whenever the server goes dark, or as others have stated, when more than like 15 min have gone by which should not be considered server hopping; or even as the person before me stated "Changing to a different server after 24 hours is not server hopping" and it should not be treated the same way. I can no longer play with different people that frequent other servers, because of the way your system works. By all means, prevent the server hopping issues you have with certain players, but please do not eliminate the feature of being able to switch servers to play with different people, due to darkness, etc.. which is what made playing on a common hive amazing and enabled DayZ to be awesome.
