Hello! I am a masochist and my favorite game is DayZ. Why, do you ask? Because I LOVE dying! The best part about DayZ is that when you die, you lose everything and restart. You can pass several hours looting, exploring, gearing up, evolving... then die suddenly in a few seconds! Man, that is AWESOME! I mean, when I am playing video games, I don't like having fun, like in those other games when you make a mistake and loose, you just learn and retry and everything is good. This is just too easy! I prefer suffering, that is why I love DayZ which is a hardcore realistic game when a single mistake, no matter how tiny it is, you Die with a big D!!! Sometimes you can die from a bug, many complain about this and want that the Developpers fix it. Seriously, you are a bunch of crybabies! Don't you see that bugs add more difficulty to the game, which becomes even better? Being sniped, slaughtered by a pack of bandits, KOSed, killed as fresh spawn, eaten by feral bugged zombies, seeing this red screen "You are dead" without understanding what happened, that is why we love DayZ!

Okay. People should know more about that, there should be a message before playing like : "Warning! You might die from a stupid bug and loose all your progression at any moment"

There is a military camp, it's night, I want to search it. I light on my road flare, it will only take two minutes, then I'll throw away my light. So in a tent, I look down to see the stuff and BOOM! a silenced bullet go through the tent but doesn't hit me, immediately I understand that I'm in danger, I drop my light then I run forward to disappear in the dark. But in one shot I fall while trying to escape.._. You died! I walk on a meadow, there are buildings before me. Suddenly I hear a shot near me, I prone myself, I don't think the shot was for me, but I still look around, a few seconds later I got shot... You died! In a village I am about to pick up a knife laid on a table outside when I'm sniped out of nowhere... You died! Someone followed me in the woods, and even though I was looking back, I saw nothing, heard nothing, still he was at my left and killed me in two bullets. You died! DayZ is a game where you pass calm, sometimes boring hours of looting, running, exploring... ended often in a few seconds by a unexpected encounter. How funny it is... ( Don't tell me "git gud"!)

How great that idea is! Now I must wait 30 minutes before I can play, because when I join my server I'm like 15th in the waiting line and when it is written "0", it says "Timeout! you have been ejected!" then I restart and now I'm 17th ! And if I want to change to a server where there no waiting line, I spawn teleported i-don't-know-where! How F*CKING GREAT IT IS!!!!!!!!

In violent video games, it's okay to kill others players, because it is actually why you play to the game, you fight, you play, and there no bad feeling about it. BUT you mingle this with the anti-game behavior when you humiliate others players and categorize it at just belonging to the violent game's part. When you humiliate another player, it's beyond the virtual world : you insult indirectly the true person behind the screen, so that must be punished.

This game should be fautless concerning bugs, because dying beecause a bug and loosing everything, is particularly upsetting! Just now a zombie blocked me when I tried to enter a house, even if it was outside of it and aside the door.So I couldn't get indoor and died, loosing 3 hours of game! My brother who play to Dayz aswell reported me that he died several times because of bugs. This the WORST default of Dayz, bugs need to be fixed asap! Until that happens I am definitely stop playing to this exasperating game.

What's the link between my "male toughness" and a video game ? No, I'm not shocked when someone kills me. I'm thrilled or angry or frustrated or amused, but not shocked, because the point of the game is to fight and kill others players. When someone kills me "cleanly", without doing weird stuff and lacking respect, I'm fine. But when I'm being ridiculed, I generally don't feel good. Yes, you can say like your other mate : "Find your Y chromosome and stop being weak", but it does not change the fact that I indeed feel bad when someone doesn't show me respect, even in the virtual life. No, you didn't read my first message.

Actually no I didn't expect such things to happen.I didn't inform myself on the game's community. Adul:ting rating means for me that there is violence in the game (you kill zombies, you get killed...), not that you"ll be a toy for other players. It's okay that you only find this humorous, but for me it is shocking. It is not normal or funny in any game that some players don't respect others. It's my opinion. It's good to have some action, but not that way. I didn't had fun to be mocked.

The game is too much bugged, I die mainly because of technical problems, like zombies who hit you through doors, or I can loose a item mysteriously or something like that. I play for hours then i die and loose everything because of a bug. Can't play to this game anymore. Seriously?!

Well I think it's normal to feel something when a virtual thing happens. When you die, you are generally upset. When someone insults you with a mic, you're angry. When two guys make fun of you by forcing you to drink gasoline, even if it does not really happen to you, you feel humiliated. It's a game, but it is real.

Hello I just started in the game, I stuffed myself a little, then two guys shot me and made me unconscious... They approached and healed me, I thought they were trying to save me because they saw I had nothing. But actually, they made me drink gasoline several times and laughed! Then I said to myself "wtf?" I mean it's pointless! They don't want to rob me or kill me, they just want to laugh by doing ludicrous things... "Haha, it's so funny to make someone drink gasoline" I didn't want to be their toy to be killed at the end, so I ran and they shot me in the back. Even if it's a game, I was shocked a little and felt humiliated. What do you think of that? Have you ever be victim of this kind of behavior, or even be a perpetrator of it?
