OK, now with server wipe ALOT of people came back to oficial servers and we got even more severe queues. It's 01:00pm (which is lunch time for most) and we got queues from 20 to 30 already. Now imagine at most common hour like 6 to 10pm, it will be impossible to play. This hour-long queues has gone for too long on brazilians servers. WE ARE UNABLE TO PLAY THE GAME DUE LACK OF BRAZILIAN SERVERS.

@Tonyeh I've said i'll be out or arguing with you and i will. But i would like to mention that cleary your perspective of reality on the walking dead or something like that. I might ask you then, have you EVER spent a week on the woods or even sleeped a night there? Do you have any idea how it is like? IT IS NOT SAFE! So, how do you get "safer"? To get into a f****ng house. Also, you seems to don't see any problem on buried stuff, so let me point a "realistic" part missing there. I suggest you to try any day to bury (Whatever the f**k you want to bury) into a wooden box, after 1st rain go check it. **Spoiler alert** it's all wasted. And i'm not counting for landslide and other things like that. You mention missions, helicopters and basebuilding as being "in the wrong game", as much as i think it is true for first two, the later one is not, as i mention before. But it is a game, and when someone say that they are "stuck on the theme" that is also not true, they did change how you get into bases when they removed dismantle from outside for example. We are not asking for impenetrable basebuilding or some wierd stuff like what they do on community servers, we just want it to be a bit more balanced because no matter what you say IT IS A GAME and no even a single game can fully reproduce a realism on that scale, so you must adress gameplay too. -

A larger map would make burying even safer. And effort should mean result, but you don't get it. At this point you either don't get it or is just arguing for the sake of arguing. I'm out. -

I do agree when you say that burying stashes is far better for storage and all other mentions of how tents and basebuilding is bad, and that is exacly my point! But, why? Consider how much effort you need to make a base versus the effort to make a few wooden crates or finding a drybag, is it fair? I know that people will always go for the more efficient one, but for the game (any game, not just dayz) balance is a must. And yes if you follow realism, burying would be the most effective, but that is the point on this topic isn't? As the tittle suggests "theres a point where realism gets in the way of fun" and i think that lack of balance in order to create a "realistic experience" is a bad concept for any game. -

You dismissed my point. I'm not talking that you shouldn't bury it or wanting a "fortress building/simulator" as you suggested. I'm simply saying that, as for any game, storage must be balanced, and right now, bury is far more effective than all other alternatives available, not only basebuilding. -
I'm not sure if i'm supposed to make a list, but it's a short one, so i'll do it anyway. - Can you separate Livonia hive from chernarus? Would be amazing, most of my friend which does have livonia don't play it because you will mess your chernarus character, so we don't play livonia. Also that would encourage other players to buy it, for example: We are a group of 6 and play only on oficial servers, 4/6 does have livonia, and we would gladly buy as a gift to the other 2 IF we could play them both. - On the same topic as livonia, we don't actually have a brazilian oficial server for livonia. I have no idea about the numbers, but since you got us a translation (which is really good btw) i can only assume that brazilian playerbase is increasing, but we still got only the same 3 servers and no one of them are livonia. - About the amount of brazilian servers. I know, that in comparison to US the amount of players we have here is a joke, but those only 3 servers are currently overcrowded, we have daily queues up to 20 and that was reported on 2 out of 3 servers (one of them being at 10max queue), still, since we got a queue of approximately 50, it might be enough to fill up a new server. - There are a few exploits that i would like to point out too, but i'll not do it here, so please some CM please pm me. TL.DR: -Separate livonia hive from chernarus's, add a Brazilian Livonia server, One more brazilian server and a few exploits to fix.

I absolutly agree to that. I've brought that myself quite a while ago, that sometimes you must address gameplay instead of realism and since then some measures was taking in account, but we still far from ideal (which is relative, i know). A few things still at top of my head, like basebuilding, buried storage, NVG, CLE, cars and a few more that i just can remember right now. Basebuilding, not going to dwell on it too much, but just quoting some guy on the forum "Basebuilding still a cruel joke". Buried storage should just go away or be heavily nerfed. Right now it is just pointless to do anything other than make some crates and bury your "good stuff" making tents and basebuilding almost pointless, unless you want it for roleplay or whatever, but still pointless and not worthy in comparison. Barrels into lakes should go too. NVG, as rare as it is, is so fucking unfair. Here i think that should be taking in account not how much you see in the dark, which is the point of NVG, but consider how easy you can spot people with glowstick, torch or lantern. i know that night right now is not as dark as it used to be and people are not that affraid to play at night anymore, but still, some minor change on that would help. As for CLE, it is getting better, that change that helicrash would not count towards stored items was amazing, but still need some more "motivation" to make people leave coastal areas. Cars. No i'll not say "fix cars", but... We all know that developers have been struggling on that matter but a small solution that would serve as a band-aid is so you don't take damage from collision inside a vehicle. Once it flies and go to hell, you might loose it (and probably everything inside) but will still keep your own loot, which is better than loose everything. Also i would like to know if would be possible to have some sort of id per item, so you could know when an item is duplicated and remove it or only for a few rare items (LAR, SVD, NVG). considering it would not melt servers down like weight for wetness did. Last one was more about a glitch and a bit out of topic, i know. We love realism, but sometimes you must address gameplay first. Almost forgot to mention, an ingame map that makes sense too would be great, so i don't need to use my second monitor or phone as map. -

That is what i expect, a bug-fix focused patch, instead of a few worthless new features like amusement park (seriously wtf). But still, i don't see any major fix to exploit, those which haunts us till this day. I'm talking about duplicated items, "secret locations" for hidden storage, storage itself is bad, basebuilding as a whole and so on. I see you tweaked barbed wire to be more worthwhile, but still, this is the lesser evil of basebuilding, things like building a watch tower outside to get throught a wall/window that has no physics or that exploit that makes you pass thought wall like shadowcat (you know which one i mean) and i few more that i can't list here w/o making it worst. Those are really gamebreaking, and those should be top priority. Right now any one who knows how to do it, can bring your "weeks of work" down in 15min with a crowbar. I know you are aware of cars physics and this is something that is not easily solved, but is always nice to get some update on that matter. Cars and basebuilding are dayz's endgame, as heli was for arma2:dayzmod, and right now they are broken as hell and not worthy at all which, in the long run, gives you only 2 options, go to a modded server or, as me and my friends did, quit. -
It has been a long waited feature to be viable, and besides those last updates that tried to fix this, it still is not enough. There are 2 main factors that make it impossible, i'll leave here 2 screenshot. 1 - Boosting people throught walls. https://imgur.com/ZWGef0m I believe most of the people are aware of "people boosting" which is when you step into your friend's head and do some sort of "Cirque du soleil" to jump to the other side of a fence and then with a single crowbar he brings down your entire base, it just should NOT be possible, a full weeks worth of effort put down in 10min, with a single crowbar and does not make any noise (as much as it sound loud, you can't hear it from far). 2 - Parts of the building that has no physics and holes in the building. https://imgur.com/n5lp88K You see, people building up watchtower outside to get throught an wall or window that has no physics. In this specific case it's about that hole in the building, it shouldn't be there, they just jumped thought that hole and put everything down from inside, so it made all 6 gates useless. Also, there is some buildings, like small factory, that it's windows simply does not have physics at all, you can jump in and pass right throught it as if it wasn't even there. There are a few other tweaks that could make it better too, like increasing it's hp (mainly metal ones) make it so that barbed wire really worth against wall geared players (right now is worth just against unprepared or fresh spawn) maybe even so you can't cut upper barbed wire would help. But only by fixing those 2 issues will really make basebuilding viable. Right now, it's impossible to hold your base if there is not someone 24/7 guarding it.

Just to clarify, that is on oficial brazilian servers for PC, i don't know about console.

I was expecting they do that when they announced Dayz standalone, back in 2012. I also hope that they would do it when they reach a deadend with Real Virtuality engine, but they replaced it with Enfusion. Since then, i'm not expecting that they sell it anymore, it would be so much expensive for any company to buy it. As you well know, it's all about the money. But we can only hope.

First your list: - Aircraft: No, only on modded servers; - Cold mechanic: They just added it(i mean, tweaked it) on 1.10, now it's a thing; - Hunger is easy if you know how to handle it, some people find it hard, but most of them are not aware of all possible source of food/water; - Fishing is back; - About map changes we got a few, but nothing major, as i'm not sure how was it at 1.0 i can't say it properly, but sure wasn't something massive; - New weapons: We got a few, most notably was the Vaiga (aka Saiga) and revolver, but you can see the full list here https://dayz.gamepedia.com/Weapons - Not sure what you mean by that, but weapon length still a thing. For example: You can't aim a shotgun if you have a guy too close too you (distance based on weapon length); - No bike yet; - Zombies don't really go thought walls anymore, but they sometimes spawn inside a wall or a roof; - Yes, you can craft your own ghillie and an improvised shelter. - Don't remember that, but you can't modify them. Just swap between attachments; - Yes you can throw grenades, and pretty much everything else too!! - They just added broken bone on the last patch too; - On loot is varies server by server, there is something called CLE (central loot economy) and explaining it would take a quite long time, so i suggest you read it yourself here https://dayz.gamepedia.com/Central_Loot_Economy - You can still do that, but depends on your weapon. For example: Hitting a player with a sledgehammer might knock him out in 2-3 hits, but doing that with a hammer will take longer. Also blunt weapon does damage to health as well as shock damage but a knife does damage to health and cuts you (apply a bleed); - Cars are far easier to get now, but still has same issues as before, if you bump (no matter how slow you are) it does broke if you don't have a hood, with a hood you get some gap but still very "breakable". Server desynch is not fixed yet, you can easily enter a car and get ejected into space. I suggest you to avoid cars for now. They added alot to improve the game along the way, for someone who haven't been played since 1.0 you will notice that the game is far better now but still a long way to go. -
Their announce for 2021 says: "With support from new additions to our team, we hope to resolve our ongoing weaknesses regarding some of the synchronization issues and physics-related problems with vehicles." We can only hope that this get solved before it's too late, over past years 'ive hear of alot of people that quit just because they lost everything to cars. It is bizarre at this point, that such a major feature of the game is that broken.

I've forgot to mention although here is propably the wrong place to say that but, something is really wrong with server stability itself for brazilian server 4-002 and 4-003. I'm not talking about overall latency, but at every patch it does increase in instability. I don't really know if it's tied to the fact that we had no wipe for a long time or duo people abusing glitches to multiply their storage. Either way, i've been playing on a random US server, and besides latency being higher (somethind around 130ms), you can feel it far more stable than brazilian ones (which i play with 15ms). So cleary something is wrong with BR 4-002 and 4-003. Not sure about 4-001 tho.

I had created an topic about that before, but i'm not sure i was clear enough. i'm not sure you realize how serious this matter is. I can't store anything, every single item i store on barrels wooden crates, tents, cars or even structures goes back as they were before christmas update. Just to exemplify, i dropped a few stupid loot, like clothes, rags and raw meat inside a barrel that had an m4 and NVG. After it reset, the meat, rags and clothes had gone missing, but M4 and NVG was not, and i was looking at them until server restarted. It means that no matter how many loot i store, once server resets it is gone, making it unplayble. This happened on a few other oficial server, as we got reports from a community group on facebook. Edit: I just forgot to ask. Had this happened with anyone else? On oficial servers. I've got reports from a few othe people, but that only on brazilian servers (all of them)

I just did that, fortunately enough host name is on server description, but i don't know if they will answer me or just bohemia. Anyway, now everyone that should is aware of it. I hope they fix it soon, before this issue starts to affect other servers.

You came here as a xenophobic guys emplying that i was somehow exploiting a glitch and implicitly called me a lootwhore, and still you keep your offenses... So i strongly suggest you to stop your comments about me and focus on the problem itself, ok? Now to the problem. That is the case, we've tested it. As much as brazilian servers looks like they are "frozen in time" you can still take stuff from there and transfer to another server, you can make it so that those 3 servers become a loot factory for the hive. It might be something with local database. I'm trying a direct approach at host via their support, but i'm quite sure they will only take action if someone from bohemia ask. Even so, that now we might have another problem, since quite alot of people are aware of it already, because of that, for those 3 servers economy is (probably) broken by now.

001 too. edit: Already made a post about it, pm an CM too. But nothing happened. Sadly, now we most definitly are going to need a wipe, otherwise those 3 servers will be unplayble for quite some time. -
