Pretty sure at this point we just have to accept that Chernarus is full of magic we dont understand. The ability to multiply items with magic and the ability to open portals to alternate dimensions. You and 3 more people dont know anything about development either as they are developing the game for PC, patches, updates, hotfixes all are developed on PC and once they are confident in the stability and results they begin the process of PORTING over to console and going thought the certification processes. The functionality of everything stays the same. There is absolutely no reason these issues ever make it to console under these circumstances.

Bicycles were dope back in the day on the mod. Good transportation and no risk of running out of gas or exploding randomly. I was actually hoping bikes would make a return in the stand alone

I'm fine with server hopping. Being locked down to 1 server would suck. There are way more people to interact with than one server allows. This would restrict the open ended possibilities this game offers by a lot. I would like to see duping eradicated without locking servers.

Its 10* burlap strips and netting. I think 4 in total of the netting. You can't stack more than 10 burlap strips. And just an example of how easy it is. I fresh spawned once and when I made it north and left the coast I had 2 netting and 5 burlap. That was just in a couple of hours. That shit is easy to come by.

You're duping...and you're duping...and YOURE duping! And YOURE DUPING...youre all duping. Everyone is duping. And if we are being really honest you're probably trolling the coast for fresh spawns at the same time too. Hell you're probably duping on the coast while trolling for fresh spawns!

Group of guys duping one gun into two, two into four, then eight, then sixteen....and that only took 30 minutes. They've had 2 weeks. Somehow the guys that find these camps and just personally gear are part of the problem? No man they just want to play the game they paid full price to play and unfortunately now the only way to do that at this point is to gear up at these camps. I'm writing you off as a troll. This^ that is all that can be said to op. Loot tables are absolutely fucked and there are more guns hidden away on every server than you will ever have time to find and eradicate before more are duped 1000 times over.

Combat logging is the sudden disconnection from the internet. Whether it's by turning off the game/system or pulling the plug. I was under the impression that you did not persist on the server for 15 seconds under these circumstances. Only when you use the menu to disconnect do you persist for 15 seconds. (This is how I thought it worked and why combat logging was a problem) I'm ok with being wrong. I would rather understand the issue than think I do.

We go out every day looking for duper camps. Partially because we need gear and cant find it normally. The other half is just straight vengeance for actively ruining the game for everyone. Sad part is I hear about all these glorious treasure troves of LARs yet we never find them 😂 I still haven't seen an M4 or any of the goods.

That's why they test patches and updates first. So players find these things before they go live. I'm not a game developer by any means and I didn't pay full price for a game to be their tester. It would have taken all of 5 minutes to find out this exploit existed if they only tested and actually used the data. (Duping is still done the fairly the same way it's always been done from the mod to now) Duping is not some unforeseen variable. It's on their damn radar. It's not like they're like "oh shit people are duping things...we never saw this coming". This has been a known exploit in their game since the mod. That's 7 years. Duping breaks the very nature of this game. It should be a number 1 priority to make sure it's not exploitable and if it becomes apparent it is they should scrambling to fix it. Real talk though, something like this after 7 years of it being an issue is just ridiculous. Test your shit first and since you know this game is susceptible to this very game breaking exploit maybe it should be on the top of your list to test for.

I didnt say that it was currently an issue on PC. Duping has been in this game since the mod. The fact that its 7 years later and this wasnt rooted out before the console launches is pretty irresponsible. I also agree that it will be a non issue at some point on console but that still remains an issue at current. A huge issue at that. It is literally ruining how this game functions.

Duper camps are player camps in remote unknown locations on the map where they cheat. They take items in the game and duplicate them through a cheaty process. The reason you cant find these guns or other guns like the Tundra or M4 is because someone on your server has duped them out of spawn existence.
