Yep. Nearly everybody I've ran across has tried to kill me. One guy, waited behind a door and attacked me as I had no idea he was there. I knocked him out with a sledgehammer and tied him up and started taking all his food. THEN he wanted to talk. Wanted to be friends. No. You attack first. We're not friends. You better kill me or you're going back to Brena or Kambiwobobrody or whatever it's called. I got one friend I play this game with. If you ever want someone to play with and you ain't gunna just shoot me in the face, my gamertag is Sparlywag on xbox.

Yesterday I had 10 "no message receieved" errors. I've also had multiple M4s stolen out from under me by the game. I've logged in, only to lose connection to host immediately, sit in long queue, and right as I'm about to finally load in, "no message received" and kicked again. It's ridiculous. I emailed BI yesterday and told them maybe they should say something about the problems on Facebook instead of asking us how our encounters with bears are going. They replied and said they're aware of the issues and are working to get things fixed asap. Riiiiiiiight.

Wait, so if other players cant get into these exploited tents, how can the exploiter? If the exploiter can get in it stands to reason others should be able to as well. I've yet to see this on any of the servers I play in.

That’s a cowardly tactic. But I guess it’s my own fault for not shooting first.

After dying 5 times in two days at the coast as a new or fairly new spawn I’ve learned a valuable lesson I thought I already knew. DONT TRUST ANYBODY. Ive murdered in the past in this game and I felt bad for it. I almost always try to keep my guns for my own self defense and nothing more. I’m always more than willing to give people food, drink, tools, etc. But in 3 of my 5 recent deaths, I was killed by other players pretending to be friendly. I speak up, tell them I’m friendly, they in all 3 cases said they were too. Then in the middle of talking with them, I get popped. Or, two guys even kept the charade up for a good 15 minutes. I gave them each 4 cans of food and a can of soda, and we ran together for a bit. Soon as I took a drink, they turned on me. I ended up killing them both, but bled out thanks to the new bleeding mechanic in 1.05 It seems I have no choice but to kos anymore. Where are the true friendlies at?

Yea it sucks big time. I finally got my first working car RIGHT before 1.05 It despawned when I downloaded the update.

What I think would be cool, is if you could get sub-sonic ammunition. Sub-sonic rounds would not aggro zombies if used with a suppressor. Super sonic rounds used with a suppressor would be quieter, but would still aggro zombies. And yea, remove the ability for them to be damaged after one magazine or less.

What does that mean? It’s just my regular official server I play on.

Soooooooo. Anybody else having this problem? 6 times in a row now. I’m trying to play as I type this. It’s 4:50pm where I live on Saturday. It was fine earlier this morning and now I can’t play for more than 5 minutes before I get a “no message received” notification and get kicked.

I think it’s more effective to hide your tent well. Too many people THINK they’re well hidden when they’re not at all. And to anyone who thinks their tent hidden on the far north or far west border is safe, Ive got a bridge to sell you.......

I did read your post and my point still stands. I ran into two guys at Troitskoe Mil base. I had JUST looted an M4 off the ground in a barracks when I heard their footsteps. We talked and ended up playing together. I noticed they were only running SKS rifles and asked if they had any higher tier guns. They did not. So I gave them the M4 I had found. My point is it’s entirely plausible for you to be just barely missing a gun. If those guys had checked that building 30 seconds before I did, they’d have found the gun and not me. Similarly, I have looted multiple military bases, multiple times in a day on my server and found no weapons at all. Other days I find more. I dont believe the loot economy is anywhere near as bad as it was. If we ever meet up. I’ll gladly gift you one of mine. Good luck out there.

With an axe or hatchet or something. Or are you saying those don’t work on a locked gate?

Does anybody know if a frag grenade will demolish a base wall? I’m talkin just your plain wood base wall you can build, no sheet metal.

I guess another thing to note is that I did find a couple guys doing something pretty sketchy. Must have been trying to dupe or otherwise exploit the game. They ambushed me and I killed one. The other one ran away after being hit 3 times. They had removed every piece of gear from every tent or building. And were in the middle of the next step I assume when I accidentally interrupted them. Could be why you’re having a hard time finding good stuff.

My 2 cents is that it’s just poor luck/timing. I found an AKM and an AK74 just last night in the same military base. I haven’t found any M4’s since earlier this week and I gave that one away to a couple strangers I met. Immediately after the update the good stuff was everywhere but it’s noticeably tapered off now.
