in the "old" day i remember broken scopes. some had a crack in the glass, which made it hard to scope thru. maybe just bring this back and make em spawn all damaged, so people have to maintain/repair the attachments.

depends so much on the server performance, the amount of people on it, bad pingers will effect the performance for others or simply a bad server set-up. well configured servers and the vehicles work fine, even if theres 60 people on or u playing across the ocean with a 150 ping.

yea right, i used the word "balance" in my previous post, but i wasnt talking about server performance. i think u know that.

in your example (i only watched the bit at your timemarker) he crashed frontal full speed. that should result in death and a ruined vehicle. i guess we are on a different level of "balancing" vehicle and player damage. like i said before, im fine if they reduce damage on vehicles with slow speed crashes. i also know a fix for guns not sticking out the roof: dont let us shoulder guns while sitting in a car. its also not about "defending" bugs.... i just give my feedback to your post? for your "realism" paragraph... again its about gamebalance and what is possible in the game.

disabling car damage is the fix for vehicles by modders? come on now! i would agree that vehicles take too much damage with really slow speed, but thats about it. also this is the apocalypse. the vehicles arent in a good condition as "new" cars. the truck only makes 42km/h for that reason. modding it to 100km/h isnt a fix also in my eyes. some people like lambos and ferraris in the game, but i dont see its value in a game like dayz. rather play gta for that.

hahahaha keep believing that. modders didnt fix vehicles yet, did they? did they fix the handslot bug? i guess not. modders are good for having new terrains like deerisle or namalsk. some modders will bring you traders and no stamina. great!

some changes in 1.14: - Cholera now causes fever - Food poisoning now causes fatigue - Salmonella now causes light pain so i guess u catched salmonella.

the infected die within about 40 seconds inside the gaszone. no nbc infected spawn in the dynamic ones. sunglasses/tactical goggles work in 1.14

akm, m4, its suppressors and nightvisions, vss, asval, 40rnd cmags, 45rnd ak47 mags, 10 rnd vss mags and the antichem injector are exclusive to the contaminated static zones. so u can get a fully kitted m4 out of it. i dont think thats a good balance. better split its attachments over high tier zones and heli crash sites instead of having it all available in one zone. this is how i will most likely have it on my server with 1.14: Tier4 (tisy/west evac): ak/m4 sup nbc grey asval mag 20rnd cmag 40rnd Helicrash: FAL FAMAS SVD akm 75rnd mag stanag 60rnd mag saiga drum mag nv goggles airborne mask ammobox Contaminated zone: AKM ASVAL M4A1 VSS nv optics 45rnd mag ak47 svd mag anti chem rest is tier 3 and lower. -
the lifetime counts for everything that is dropped in the world and the timer resets when interacted with. not sure about the cost value, sth about if an item should spawn with higher priority. the higher that value the higher the priority of that item to respawn.

what do u mean with "removed legs"? 😕 stones, fruits, mushrooms spawn nearby players. so that shouldnt be an issue. for example if u need stones to craft a knife - check the dirtpaths/railroads - no stones? loot the nearby buildings and check again - plenty spawned meanwhile. vehicles work fine for me; but im not playing on official servers. those might have a too high ping limit - or whatever reason. deadside is very very different to dayz - might as well go play fortnite^^

so what? theres mods for hundreds of weapons - that doesnt stop the devs to add new weapons. i prefer content in the vanilla game, instead of installing various mods for features that were already in the vanilla game.

wow, bohemia. "They were causing some troubles and didn't really have any purpose." thats sad (hidden) news. i wonder what else gonna be ignored from pre 1.0 release. books are on dayzunderground server without any issues for quite some time. are modders smarter than the devs? what i liked most about dayz is the huge variety of gameplay possibilities. seems like its more and more focusing on pewpewpew. its a sandbox game in the end. i remember very well the "book stores" by random people in elektro for example. and yea, i know about australia and their big fear of cannabis, while they are ok with murdering, torturing and suicides. sigh

i highly doubt thats the reason for not havin notes. if people want to bring their poor attitude via notes they can easily be banned by server admins, cos this notes are logged. an official statement for that would be highly appreciated. same with the books. also i dont need written notes to not behave in the game. i can still insult others in many ways, so why not in written form? murdering, torturing or eating other players seem alright. but insults on written notes is a problem? on the other hand - cannabis for example was removed, so i wouldnt be surprised.

with the release of 1.0 they promised everything will come back what was once in the game. i dunno how much that promise is worth... but im also really waiting for written notes (modders brought that back quite fast - dunno if the devs really plan to bring it back in sadly.) same goes with the books... they still in the server files for ages, but cant use them. adding more guns seem to be more important for them. balancing the game (or: rolling dices) is their focus right now - goin from one extreme change to another. maybe in another year.

patchnotes from 1.10: "Added a respawn dialog, offering an option to spawn with a random or the main menu character (shows only when server has a disableRespawnDialog parameter set to 0)" so this feature is obviously disabled on spaggies servers. dunno about official servers - its probably disabled too there. u can still play with your char of choice by leaving the server, choosing a char, rejoining the SAME server and once u respawned u have your chosen character and u gonna keep it with future respawns unless u change servers.

its an EVENT! those eggs wont spawn - unless some community server admin activated them. thats all there is. halloween, easter, christmas, witch event.... this are all TEMPORARELY things - it wont break your holy game experience.

the garden plots are floating over the ground - u can crawl under them. having longer growtimes is a good change. 5 minutes from seed to harvest was a bit too much.

hmm this seems to be a mystery. can some clothes only spawn in pristine condition? for example all the blouse variants (which is even a vanilla item) - they all spawn pristine - no matter what. same goes for adding modded clothes to that list - all pristine spawns.

i need some more info about this line in cfgspawnabletypes.xml: <damage min="0.3" max="0.7" /> when 0.0 would be "pristine" and 1.0 "ruined", at which values items count as worn, damaged and badly damaged? also can i use multiply lines in the xml file of the damage values (to have different stuff spawning in different conditions)?

i see your mistake: u took this pills all at once. i doubt u took this 100(!) pills one by one. thats at least 500 minute playtime. take one pill and only take the next when the pill symbol in your HUD disappears. anyway best cure/not to get sick again: keep your immunity level as high as possible (blood, health, hydration/energy). thats your best medicine.

luckily dayz is not counterstrike. no global chat, no killfeed, no killcam etc. if u think there's too many cheaters on official, i recommend community servers with active admins.

we found a weird fix for this with some help from another user with the same problem. using teamviewer, i logged into my steam account on his pc, installed DayZ, started the game, closed it and logged out. afterwards he logged in into his own account and is again able to play the game 😕 no idea how THAT fixed this issue. https://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/discussions/0/1653297026050612925/?ctp=5 Originally posted by JustDutchness ( Jenny Riley): THE FIX: remove all your dayz related files from your pc.
