Don't sprint everywhere you go. Hydration will last longer. FWIW, if you're drinking from a well, it will take something like 15 or 20 handfuls to fill you up.
-
Yeah, same here. It's a bit of an inconvenience.
-
You might want to consider NOT allowing alt accts. Just a suggestion.
-
Well, I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it, so I guess the answer is still "YOU CAN'T". I've fiddle-fucked with every possible way that it COULD be changed, double-tapping down, holding d-pad down, etc, and nothing. Hardly anyone ever uses VOIP anyway, at least on public servers.

Is Livonia worth the buy ? (And how is the game after 1.06?)

$20? You got robbed. I only paid $15. -

You found food? I had to sneak up on some sheep and whack them with an axe. Couldn't find any canned shit. Lucky fucker. -

I was playing on a high pop (had 58 in it) Singapore (SG) server, I'm in TN, and the only issue we ran into was my buddy dropped a water bottle for me and I couldn't see it. Other than that, it runs fairly smooth. Be forewarned, there is NO shortage of trigger-happy fuck sticks atm. I am chalking it up to it being because it's a new map, and as soon as the novelty wears off, maybe they'll calm down a little. What I DO view as game breaking, however, is the ability to bring in gear from Chernarus. IMO, it should be new map, new character. I can see it now.......bring in gear, die, go BACK to Chernarus and get more shit out of the stash, relog into Livonia, rinse, and repeat. Correction: I did have an issue with my crafted fire starter not allowing me ignite a fire, but my friend's worked. -
How many hours you guys got on xbox?

My wife would say I have "TOO MANY". -
We had an incident once where I and 3 of my friends, all of us fairly geared and no strangers to PvP, got wiped out by a freshie with a shotty. Shotguns ain't no joke.

The only weapons you need to succeed in DayZ is a shotgun and either a scoped Mosin or an SKS...all of which are easy to obtain. I normally spawn in near Kamy, and within minutes, I have found an axe, a burlap sack, and rope. I have my melee weapon, and I can craft a 42 slot backpack. A few mushrooms, perhaps a can of tuna and a soda, and you can practically jog anywhere on the map. Pro tip #2: don't sprint unless you absolutely have to until you gather enough to drink. All I can say is, if you are having a hard time finding enough food and drink in Chernarus, you best stay away from Livonia.

Nah, they just want the easiest way. As for "wanting to win".......the object of DayZ isn't to "win". That's the goal in PUBG, CoD, and BF. Sure, one could make the argument that surviving in DayZ is winning, but it's not really a game that you win or lose at. As soon as all the trigger-happy, KoSing, duping, alt acct using cheaters realize that, the better the game will be for everyone. Just because one is ABLE to do it, for whatever reason, does not mean that one SHOULD. You ask the question of morals? The answer is, those that use alt accts, dupe, or use any exploits to gain an advantage have no morals.

With the exception of the whole "starting out geared" thing, pretty much all official servers are PVP servers. Nobody is interested in RP, not even a little bit.
-
I am all for total randomness. I understand keeping stashes and shit, but the hoarding is just ridiculous.
-
Yes, in a way it IS cheating. If someone has one or two alt accounts, one person can, in essence, surround another player's base or their own.
-
The only way to avoid these cheaters is to play on a private server.

The vitamins boost your immune system, and from I understand, will help in the speed at which you heal. Personally, I think they need to fix the feet bleeding. You shouldn't practically bleed out because the bottoms of your feet get jacked up from your shoes getting ruined (BTW, shoes get worn too quickly). How it should work is your stamina should go down, say, 50%, then after a while, maybe 25% health. Just spit-balling here.

Alpha Faction RP is a pretty good one. They are posted in this section.
-
Yes you can. Lemme ask you this.....are you wearing sunglasses or any other eyewear? If so, take them off first.
-
It wasn't Raven's Island by chance, was it? I only ask because they have a "no stashing" rule. That's why I decided to NOT play in it.
-
Meanwhile, there are TONS of PC players that use an XBox controller.
-
I recently switched to playing in a private server. No exclusively, but I would say 75-80% of my playing time. There ARE private servers that are WAY too timid, with rules like "no kos" or base raiding, etc. I stay away from those. The one I normally play in incorporates factions with territory rules and involves a LOT of politics. There are allies and enemies. There are traders (at their own risk) and bandits. All is RP, albeit light RP, but RP nonetheless. The downside I would say is that the pop CAN be low from time to time, but you don't have to worry about getting domed from 500 yards away for no other reason than "because they can". The problem with most official servers is that they are basically PUBG without a shrinking playing area.
-
I, for one, am pretty jazzed about Livonia. I've only been playing DayZ for a little over a year, but Chernarus is getting a little old, and let's face it....it's not hard to survive in Chernarus. It's almost not a challenge. Livonia, OTOH, looks to be somewhat of the great equalizer. I mean, you can be geared to the teeth, but with the scarcity of food, drink, and meds, you can die just as easily from hunger, thirst, cholera, hypothermia, or a bear just as easily as someone with a BK-133 and a ladybug backpack. It also looks like it might be a little easier to get a car running, so that's a big plus. I too wish that they would bring back the "double tap down" to lock game chat, and would implement being able to access your quick wheel WHILE RUNNING.
-
So, basically PUBG without a shrinking player area. I think you're looking at it the wrong way. You see, (this is just my opinion) it's the PvP focused players that I think ruin the game....... not the RP crowd. Let me ask you this.....how exactly are you going to enforce things like a "no stashes" rule?
