DUDE! I cannot find anything about your server anywhere. Your Discord links are invalid. Your website Discord link is invalid. You posted only 2 weeks ago, but it seems you don't care if someone is interested. I have two other guys I play, and we are constantly looking for a good server we can call home. We play on many different servers, but cannot find one that keeps drawing us back time and time again. I mean, if you don't care enough about getting more players to the point where you won't reply to a simple request, then I wouldn't be surprised if your server dies before the end of the month.

A little more info would be nice. Like WHO, WHERE, etc

Well kudos to "Buggs and Toffe", but yes, I literally searched every single building, shed, outhouse, barn, car, everything. Think what you will, but I and two other friends, all three of us in different cities, couldn't find not one steak knife, two stones to make a stone knife, screwdriver, nothing.

Dude, you have GOT to adjust loot spawns. One apple and a half a box of cereal in the entire city of Severograd? Really? Not to mention not one single knife, hatchet, crowbar, nothing, after searching literally dozens of sheds and barns? Windstrides clothing mod? The only clothes I have found was sneakers and men's suits. It's janky AF and needs some SEVERE tweeking. I'm not a noob to DayZ, and have played on some pretty serious hardcore servers, but this server isn't hardcore.....it's impossible.

To anyone clicks on the Aleutian Wasteland topic to see what's what, give it a try. drgullen has the server set up pretty cool. The way it's set up, it totally throws you out of your normal "routine". Usually, after I spawn, just like everyone else, I run to Vorkuta, then go east. Well, I spawned in just outside Vorkuta, and a bear was not 50 yards away. Had to slowly sneak out and bypass Vorkuta altogether. Took me completely out of my element.

Well, I have had enough of the console DayZ community. I am, in the near future, going to be going back to PC, not just for a different player pool in DayZ, but I am also ultra-hyped for the (hopefully) upcoming Dead Matter. Now, I haven't played anything on PC since the Battlefield Desert Combat mod (I think I may have just shown my age), so a new desktop will be in short order. Anyhow, I would like to find either a vanilla server or maybe a SLIGHTLY modded server. I feel that all these modded servers have robbed the game of it's true essence, and I will be looking for fellow purists to play with. When I pull the trigger, I will be new to the whole Steam thing, but I'm not a complete moron, so I should be able to figure it out when that time comes. I would like to know, though, about how many vanilla servers are there out there, either public or community? Or are vanilla servers extinct like the dinosaur?

Hell, if anything is a sign, look at the forums. The last posting/reply was 4 months ago. DayZ, IMHO, I believe is on it's death bed, and it's not the Devs that killed it. It's the player base that killed it. Too many people wanted it to be something that is wasn't. They complained about it enough to get what they wanted, and now it's on life support.

I honestly surprised that servers are as full as they are. Ever since modding was allowed, the entire premise of the game has been ruined. Public servers are nothing but a glorified battle royale, and owners of private servers have loaded up the map with so much rare loot, that nothing is rare now. The game, with all it's flaws, was tolerable before, but now it's a big joke.

You mean you don't have the "invert y axis" option?

The gender of my character is the least of my concerns (fwiw, you can change the appearance of your character in the title screen without resetting the character)

It's call SURVIVAL. Like Fanboy said......don't sprint everywhere. You think food and drink is an issue in the north, don't go south, then.

It's all randomized to an extent. I have noticed that it comes in bunches. I died one time with hardly anything after searching EVERYTHING, respawned, and in a matter of about 20 minutes, had a fuck-ton of food, chlorine tabs, 2 bottles of water, an ax, a shotty with about 30 shells, a suppressed Glock with 3 mags, and 2 boxes of 9mm. Needless to say, I died when a dude with a suppressed AK got the drop on me, but I digress. Yesterday, I found 4, count 'em, FOUR, medium tents in about 10 minutes. You just have to be at the right place at the right time.

Went through Balota AF, not one zombie to be found, but the town of Balota, they were plentiful. As far as food goes, I went from western Cherno, west through Balota, through Komarovo, north to Zelenogorsk.......1 can of sardines, 1 can of tuna, 1 can of spaghetti, an apple, and 2 zuchinnis......that is all I was able to find. I logged out for the evening, and I am about to start blinking red health. I may be fucked.
