I have 1000+ hours on this game mostly in Cherno and have a lot of build time. I am now playing Livonia exclusively and the biggest issue is that you cannot place a tent or fence kit on uneven ground. Livonia has a ton of elevation changes in the south, I literally spent 2 hours looking for a spot to place a tent. Here is the suggestion: We need a deck kit for building on uneven ground, which would allow you to build on top of the even deck. This would be a gamechanger for building in the wilderness.

You are 100% right about looking at the topography and just look for flat ground, the only places you can build. All the bases these days are reinforced buildings with angled walls,/.

5 nades should do in any gate. The best way is to unpin and drop and run, throwing them can make them bounce away.

I have a sizable base, 1000 slots of gear went missing overnight. I do not dupe and spent hundreds of hours collecting and sorting my gear. The base has several layers of defense, 4 walls to breach on 3 different sides, no signs of a breach. I did some digging and it appears there is a glitch where you can teleport through walls? Seriously!!!!!! WTF!

Large towns are unplayable right now. I've been getting cut by invisible zombies there is that much lag.

It's possible that the other player had a bad connection. The servers should be locked based off of PING rate

Example of the issue: Build a watchtower and put a barrel on the ground floor under the tower. When you try and access the barrel you have to cycle through several menus to get to the barrel. I currently minimize every window so that it shows the barrel only. However, when you move away from the barrel and go back to it you have to repeat the process which gets frustrating. It would be nice if the game would not reset this setting every time you move away from the storage container so you can move gear easier.

Sounds to me that you are playing on the Community servers. Each community server you will have a different character per server. Take a photo of your server that with your phone and i'm sure that it will continue. Official servers will carry on your existing character even if you hop between servers. If you hop to a different server you will appear a different location each hop so sticking with the same serveer is best. My home server is 4287, I play on that server exclusively. There is no mini-map on Dayz, players use Izurvive app on tablet or phone to navigate the map. To find loot I suggest looking for a temporary server, it's easy to gear up as the loot refreshes quicker. Players will hop to these servers to loot and then hop back to their home server of choice. Let me know if you have any further quesitons.

The best option is to find a "temporary" style server, low pop. Gear up with food in that server then hop into your preferred server. It's easier to get through the start of the game this way.

I think it's crap that you can unmount Barbed Wire from the front side of the wall. This should be addressed.

When it comes to weapons in 1.10, keep an eye on the sky! What does this mean, why is their a red star / planet in the sky?

I am an experienced player. Recently I have noticed that very difficult to get off the shore, I have killed zombies, searched everywhere for food and NOTHING. 25% of the time I will die as a fresh spawn. More food needs to be added so that new players can get off the coast.

They only way to survive as a fresh spawn is to go on a low pop (Temporary) server to get going then hop back to your preferred server. All you need is 1 can of food and some water and that will buy you at least 30mins to find more. Seems kind of broken, if i was just getting into the game it would be hard to appreciate the game with constantly dying on the coast.

Wow, I ran across a duping base in Stary and couldn't believe the amount of duping in the base. Thousands of nails, backpacks, boards, guns, etc...... this amount of gear must be destroying the loot economy on this server.....Anyone that has the means to take these guys out please flock to Stary to take these guys out. Bring grenades, as they have built 3 layers of defense to get in.

I think a great addition to the map would be naturally grown farmland in select areas of the map. It would draw players to areas that traditionally are empty areas, increasing population growth.

Yeah it has to be sheet metal, 1 believe one sheet will do the job. If someone builds a watchtower by yours, they could use it to hop in your base. You have to build a double wall compound making it more challenging for the raider to get in

My home server i'm getting a "connection failed" message. I can log into other servers, anyone else having this same issue?

Built a gate threw a lock on it and didn't realize that you dont set the number when the lock is on the gate. Long story short gate is locked, I don't know the combo. Is their anyway to reset the code when the lock is on the gate and you are on the inside of the gate?
