Everyone knows how easy it is to get gear in this game. I have challenged myself to not to get any military gear....civialian only, pretty fun so far...

I had a really intense encounter. I spawned in Cherno and headed to the Balota Airstrip, started gearing up and got cornered by 2 fully geared Russian guys, and started begging not to be killed. They made me drop all my gear, handcuffed me and were talking in Russian thought I was done for. They ended up cutting me loose, giving me some food and even gave me an M4 mag. Probably one of the most intense experiences so far in Dayz, more intense than a gun battle.

It would cool to see where the majority of the players spend their time. I haven't seen another survivor in weeks, recently I have been spending most of my time in the west. Do you travel every game or spend time in each area?

Desmantining bases is a great source for nails.

Best way to shoot at range is to lie down, hold LT roll on your back and shoot through your legs. Improves steady aim x100

For long distance shooting. Lie down, roll onto your back while holding LT and shoot through your legs. It makes shooting long distance easier

It was a constant down poar for 15+ minutes, fully overcast. You could see the clothes getting wet. It was so cool. Definitely, want to keep a raincoat in the backpack just in case for the next downpoar

Had my first rain experience yesterday, very impressed. Clothes got soaked, body temp dropped.

How often does this happen and what does any gear survive the restart?

If you have an object in your hand you cannot combine the combat knife when its in the combat boots

Does anyone know how many bullets it takes to kill broken down by the weapon?

This is what I thought I was buying!!! The game gets boring quick without hardcore survival.

I bought the game in December, had a blast learning the basics. Surviving was hard, it gets easier to the point where surviving isn't hard. Last night I had an experience for the first time i had to be careful around zombies (to many to knife), it brought back the fun factor. The way I keep it fun is coming up with missions such as: - Make it to a specific objective - Find a specific item - Seek out PVP The best part is engaging other players meeting new people, going through trust issues. This only happens at the coast, people spend 99% of their time there. How does dayz force people inland, maybe less food on the coast? What do you do with your time in cherno?

Anyone seen one on Xbox, if so what gear did you get?

I wish that it would be harder to find complete ak or m4, so you had to build it out. Making a complete gun RARE

When I open the emote wheel and use the thumbstick to expand the categories. Only 2 of the 4 expand. The two that work for me are the emotes on the left and right. Up and down do not open the expanded selection

Hey guys, new here. Came from PubG been waiting to play this game for years, finally bought it. LOVE IT. The push right thumbstick to free look is HORRIBLE, needs to be switched to RB.

Wow couldn't believe how much gear these guys had, 15+ Ocean tests FULL of everything you could need. 8 Car tents FULL of gear. My and my buddy stole one of their cars, loaded a chest in it, got all kinds of weapons including an SVD. Took off like bandits.....hahahahhah I'm not sure how many guys it would take to gather that much stuff... but wow. I'm not giving the server or location of the base so don't ask. If it was your base that I raided and you want your car back, check the creek, my buddy rolled it off the edge..hahahha. At least you can salvage the parts, everything else we packed up in our bags... Thanks for the LOOT!

It wouldn't be so bad if the coughing was every 30seconds, but its too often every few seconds. I'm pretty sure I have played 8 hours and I'm still sick, I think the only cure is death.
