I dont think it is supposed to work like that. I started on one server, switched to another, but when I traveled on the 2nd server and I rejoined the 2nd server again it moved me back to north east corner of the map. I have never heard of this feature, but I had to admin I dont read every line of the change notes. May be Bohemia tried to counter server hopping and created a bug here.

Constantly switching servers and only staying on each server for a very short time, let's say 10 minutes, then its server hopping. Yes same hive otherwise I would not be able to have the same character. What do you do, when a server you play goes down/restarts/crashes? I wait or I change server.

I did no hop servers. Started the character on a offical Server SE, later that day changed to NL Server, character and items were the same, just the spawn was north east of the map, when I rejoined the previous server I was again in the west of the map, has to be a bug, possibly related to the one server

I am on the official Server NL, I always spawn in the north east corner of the map, even though I logged out somewhere else on the map. Is this a know bug in 1.05?

since 1.03 it seems antibiotics no longer can cure sickness, eat like 2 packs over 3 gameplay hours and still have the virus icon on HUD. can someone clarify what makes you sick now? when you are stuffed you get sick? when you bandage with dirty racks gets you sick? drinking from ponds of coarse

in the right upper corner there is a drop down menu> user, keyboardmouse, ctrl1. my binds are working only in the keyboardmouse, but when i exit and restart the game, it is switched back to user. they obviously did not get the meaning of experimental, when its only on for 3 days and then they set it to stable. by the way bad decision to make the VSS a heli spawn gun.

If we agree that 1core with 2 threads=1core as 2 threads on a core doesn't provide a noticeable difference in game, I would say Dayz is using 4 cores/6 cores at most. I like to think that dayz engine and code development has finished and as far as I know, optimization if planned will not enable the engine to use additional cores. i7 4790K - 4cores Ryzen 5 2600 - 6 cores Ryzen 7 2700X - 8 cores

Can someone with 8 core Ryzen check core usage with something like Afterburner? (I was not able to find anything like that on YT)

More lower clocked cores is worse than fewer higher clocked cores, so how much is? "possible"

Your reply makes no sense. My question was about CPU cores. I cannot add more cores to my current 4, can I. I can see my core usage in MSI afterburner.

I am planning on buying a new CPU. Should i get a 6 core or 8<more core CPU. Can some developer answer what is the case or what is planned for the game? I have currently a 4790K, Dayz seems to be using 4 cores I dont see much difference in 4 vs 8 threads when disabling HT. THX
