  1. Sometimes I team up with people from Steam, or join a person I meet in game (which is a rarity). Otherwise, I go solo.

    "Hacker's Paradise"

After all of the servers implementing anti-hax and constantly stuggling with the problem, the only safe server is the one with no protection at all. Lmao

    "Hacker's Paradise"

Would love to see the chaos that goes on in there.

    Dammit this game is stressful!

I'm very cautious on servers wihout side chat on. I try to spend as little time looting an area as possible and avoid confrontation if it would be unnecessary. I do kill people, but usually it's because I really need something they have. Like a gun with more ammo or some food. I never try and team up with someone unless I know them outside of the game, or I had been talking to them on side chat and they seem trustworthy. I never, NEVER announce myself to a nearby player if I have the drop on them. That's basically saying "Hey, just letting you know I'm here so you can shoot me if you like." Sometimes I get bored with the survival playstyle and just like to run rampant in Elektro/Cherno either throwing around glowsticks or killing people in different ways. :)

    Green Mountain radio

It's the scariest thing I have ever experienced. EVER
  6. Well it technically is possible to shoot and run at full speed, but you sure won't hit a damn thing. :P
  7. I don't exactly agree with the shooting while running at full speed idea, unless you drastically reduce accuracy while doing so.
  8. People in Cherno/Elektro do seem a little too jumpy though. Not complaining, as I purposely go there on high pop servers with the expectation to not be living very long. It's just an observation. I once found a mound of flares/chemlights and instantly decided to turn Elektro into a party zone. I attached a chemlight to myself and proceeded to make the town very colorful. Those were the only things I had on my person too, so I had no guns on me. I was shot shortly after while running down the road, failing to completely light the place up. :( Do you really find a glowing person running down the street with a posse of zombies who is throwing colorful lights in every possible direction to be that threatening? If anything, I was helping make Chernarus a little less dull. :P

    Jumped a bridge in lingor.

It would be great if you had a video of this from another point of view. I think it would be hilarious to see what all the flipping looked like from someone else. lol

    Admin epic fail!

At least you weren't kicked/banned right after that.
  11. I don't feel guilty when looting someone's tent. If I found it, then they haven't done a good enough job hiding it. I even giggle a little when I take something like an M4 and replace it with an empty Lee Enfield.
  12. A few times in the beginning due to me being new. Another time I had an idiot attract a horde to a building I was in, forcing me to swan dive off the roof only to survive and be eaten. Other than that, not very much. There are some moments where a zombie would walk through a wall and corner me or something, but those times aren't very often. Most of my deaths are because of my reckless adventuring.

What type of playstyle do you prefer?

I prefer the playstyle that has the best chance of keeping me alive in the current situation.
  14. - How do you feel about females playing DayZ or other games in general? I don't mind it. If they want to play then good for them. My girlfriend plays zombie games too, and I wanted to see if she would get into this. :) - Do you go out of you way to help/kill suspected female players? I treat them the same as any other player I meet. - Do you think girls can hold their own in games? I do. Sometimes I lose to my girlfriend. :P
  15. Do this for the standalone and make it into a commercial.
  16. DayZ obviously has the popular situation where a survivor foolishly shouts out "Friendly?" to anyone they come across, which most likely leads to their death. But recently I've been noticing this happen in pther games as well. One example is when I was playing Red Dead Redemption online. I was entering a town when another player shouts on his mic: "Hey guy riding up on that hill, are you friendly!?" I've also overheard other players shouting it to one another all over the place. So I was wondering, is DayZ the reason why everyone likes to run around shouting "friendly" at every player they meet, regardless of the game they're in? P.S. I shot the kid who asked if I was friendly.

    Unconcious

I got really excited as I thought the topic title said "Unicorns" I am now disappointed.
  18. I play solo almost all of the time. The only time I really am in a group is when I happen across a survivor that needs assistance. When I'm not doing that, I'm handling a threatening player or just running around with bags full of food and drink with no real danger of death, I could wander the map without much care and that gets pretty boring after a while. I would welcome increased difficulty. If it encourages more teamwork, then that's a plus too, but I want to be able to travel the map knowing death could be right around the next corner. Whether it's due to sickness, the weather, wildlife, or another lone survivor out there who is desperate because of the difficulty of survival. It probably wouldn't change my playstyle. I'll still go solo as I find it much more interesting, but I would find an increased difficulty to live out in the wilderness to make DayZ much more fun and more of a unique experience than it is right now.

    hello from TeamRocket

I would love if you guys shouted "Surrender now or prepare to fight!" at people when you saw them. lol
  20. I would imagine this is due to the person making an effort to move the weight of the rifle and other equipment 90-degrees (or more) in any direction. If I was holding a rifle, I probably wouldn't be able to keep it in a firing position while turning around. In order to shift that weight, I would most likely be moving the gun around and even lowering it a bit before raising it again in the direction I want it to. This could just be how I personally stabilize myself though. But that's my opinion on why the in game character does that.

    Insane Chopper Battle!

The players on the ground must have gotten quite the show during all of that.

    -

I think your best bet is offering it to someone well geared and is currently sick. They would probably trade since they want to keep their character. But with the amount of heat packs lying around, chances of you finding someone in that situation are probably slim.

    Osprey Highjack fail!

I can only imagine the anger those guys expressed in side channel after that. XD
