Was thinking the same thing, but I guess when the server is setup, you would need to choose a map to run on the current server, so possibly either the current server would need to be wiped and reinstalled with the new DLC map or would need to rent another server to run the DLC map if you want to keep the current Cherno map on the server, but would be great if both maps were available on one server and the player has the option to login to either of the two maps available.

Yeah thought there would be no option, possibly BI will allow modding and further configuration on these private server "xbox, playstation" considering PC private servers have modding and configuration available 🙂

I was checking out the private server list and noticed that there was one where the titles state "Increased Loot Spawns" , is this available to configure on these servers now, because as far as I know, not even the standard scripts can be edited to do anything on these servers?

washing hands is in the game, however like mentioned above, the characters hands have to be dirty usually after hunting, then at a drinking source or bottle, there will be an option to "clean hands" along with "drink" 🙂

After last night when most of the servers went down and had come back up this morning, I logged back onto the same server where my character logged off from only to respawn at a different location to where I had logged off, just as if I have changed servers but didnt, anyone else have this issue?

Yeah I had about the same experience the other day, was running through the wood and spotted a base/Tents, so I ran way around it so as to avoid it completely and make my way north, but then I heard a guy come running up behind me saying he's friendly and when I stopped and turned he raised his AR, luckily I had my girlfriend in my hands "BK-133_Buck" and fired, but then ran away as didn't want to engage any other players in the area or coming from the base, now I dont think I can trust any player I come across in DayZ really.

Dont know, but they seem to be online now, only thing is that when I logged back into the server, my character had respawned in another location like if changing servers but I had not changed servers.

Ah ok, well on the community servers, there are actually quite a few of them with title's "High Loot" and "Fast Weapon Spawn" , dont know if that has something to do with their night time is set to like 10mins and with 10 slot servers 🙂

I quit like the idea that players need to be wary of what they drink/eat from what/where other than just the usual Z's and other players to be on the look out for 🙂

These ammo also spawn in houses, I found them mostly on the east side of the map, the ammo is sometimes loose rounds or boxed rounds 🙂

Yeah noticed that also, but then when checked the MKll .22 pistol on my DayZ PC, none of the Z's noticed it when fired, could shoot the pistol all day without a Z agroing on it, so guess this needs patching on xbox

Yes they are fixed, with the night vision fitted, get the quick wheel and right at the top will be the selection to switch on the night vision

Has anyone else come across anything new other that the obvious added items, like I have just noticed that the crafted bottle suppressor can now be fitted to all pistols

Haven't found the KA-74U yet, are these police spawns or mil? I must say I am really liking the Mlock pistol, but also more the 22lr pistol

Yeah had the same, couldn't find anything new, then decided to roll back the game to the last backup and restarted, now finding everything 🙂

I have always found places like barracks etc...are all hot zones, there are no friends there lol, but I'm not sure if I would actually try to chat to a player at any Mil site, its just way to risky to even try as they are there for the same reason your there and they might just want what you have especially if its already been looted, but good one

Ok so restarting the private server will start the update process, just tried this and the server is now on Version v1.05.152551

I'm sure that would update itself, the patch should be pushed to private servers from BI

Will check in a few minutes once my update is done and advise 🙂

The 1.05 update has just been released, busy updating now 🙂

I can agree that this would be very common on the high slot private servers though

Yip, noticed this alot with barrels, sometimes the barrels show nothing in inventory and when it does, can't take anything from it, then sometimes the barrel can't be opened either.
