I haven't had any issues with the shotguns at all yesterday when I played, although there has been some big lag spikes on my home server, tried another server and same thing there, sometimes the lag spikes last about five to ten seconds, thought it was a base/player spawning into the area so went looking but most f the time didn't find anything, guess this is just server issues.

Has any one tried this? I was always wondering what the pickaxe was for now I know, this looks like a pretty cool idea for a base/camp or just a regular place to store food and have somewhere to cook instead of an open fireplace

More at the Hunting stands, less at the castles but they do sometime spawn there (on top of tallest tower), the scopes can be found at hunting lodges and ammo at both hunting lodges and Mil camps (boxed ammo)

No, I seem to finding quite alot of these and the CR527, found another two tundra's today so they are spawning in the correct locations.

Ah ok, then players shouldn't be able to see this then, unless they can see your base from the street in daylight? Anyway it a great idea, just done know how players would react to finding the base, especially if there are other players about 🙂

LOL, it does reduce the brightness but not by much, in the dark, players can still see a lit fire barrel from the distance 🙂 🙂

LOL this is going to be an interesting thread for a bit, however considering that this is what I do for entertainment on DayZ "The joy scouting and looting a dupers stash, sometimes it requires some pvp and then a complete character inventory upgrade", I do this to try and rid the server/s of these duper stashes and normalize the CLE, but with more and more players starting to go after duper bases like the OP states, we can achieve this to some extent. Now, even though I play this style doesn't mean that I'm ok with the fact that now I have to search for these "mil weapons" at duper bases, I'd prefer to acquire them through looting mil bases "That's the original game plan as designed" or by looting other players, but not by having empty Mil camps and dupers stash holding more that what the spawn limit is of that particular item on the servers, duping is a very big problem in DayZ and most players prefer to play the "survival" aspect of the game, stashes of these weapons acquired through looting is another story as there wont be a small group of players that are hold all of the M4/KAM/LAR etc...to themselves, it would be basically "evenly" shared by random players, but duping items to a point where they basically don't spawn at all is a problem and one that majority of players don't agree with. Why should it be ok for dupers to cheat the game, but not ok if players that play the game properly that don't duplicate to complain about it, why should players now have to go searching for the duper bases instead of looting Mil bases for this particular gear? Like I said, I agree with some of this but not all of it, most players prefer not to pvp, base hunting etc...but great work on getting the loot and despawning the other gear.

LOL , I wouldn't light any fire in the open like that, especially on top of a building and at night, that would just invite all kinds of players and you don't know what "type" of players would pitch up 🤣

As @bent.toe mentioned, the ballistic vest should work, Im just curious about this as you mentioned you haven't tried seachests? Is this for base building or something to carry around whilst looting, possibly just trying to figure out where to go or what to hide behind in case of pvp situation?

Yeah if you report the GT to Xbox live, I think they do gets banned for game exploits as that's on of the criteria to choose from, but don't know for how long they are banned though. possibly only a week?

Have you sent BI or @ImpulZ a PM with the details of this exploit so that it could be included in the list of possible dupe fixes if they don't already know about this?

Yeah that would be quite a big issue during night time on DayZ, but I wonder if the NVG wouldn't be a rare/very rare item in DayZ, I dont think the NV scope for KAM/VSD is rare as I have come across quite a few of them recently only thing it to find a weapon that it can attach to, possibly BI can update the new patch with the option to attach this scope or any scope to any rifle using duct tape 🙂

Nice, yeah this seems to be the idea now on base building, with base hopping and issue, they build towers on one server then server hop to the server where they want to build the base, a solution and a problem all in one. Like @McPhorce said, if you guys need a hand, let them know. This sound very similar to a base that was ontop of the Prison at Green Mountain, but that one has been abandoned, wondering if these are the same guys that had just moved the base as the setup is exactly the same and just down the road from the abandoned base.

Yeah, as mentioned by others, either have to build a tower there or find the tower on another server. Had the same issue where a base was built on top of the prison at Green Mountain, but no way of getting up there, so eithet server hop to find the tower or build one to get there. Pretty good idea though, makes bases raiding a bit more difficult 🙂

Lol yeah, why not upgrade what you have then despawn the others? Whats your server details, can have some good pvp and then I can despawn that loot thats there 🤣 🤣 *Joking*

Yeah I'm sure there is a radio in the station building that requires a battery to work, I'm sure it can be used to transmit across the map due to the two tall towers, also a very popular location for bases on many servers, "Oops" 😁 Anyone tried it yet?

I don't have a set frequency but always checking them periodically espacially when entering towns/cities. NL3858 Fear_Fokkol
