Yeah basically if any wipe needs to be done, it would be a server wipe, don't think characters are the issue, it's the huge amounts of tents and seachests that have been duped filled with mil gear.

I ran into another player at some else's base, I had heard then saw him and he only noticed me when I said "hello" from behind cover, so he said hello and asked if I was friendly, to which I replied I am depending on if he shoulders his rifle, so he did and I came out of my cover, we spoke a bit and I asked if this was his base, he replied no and asked me the same and I said no, so I asked him if there is anything he requires and he said that he is looking for nails, so I had picked up two boxes which I then gave to him and also gave him my sks "extra rifle" with a few rounds as he was only carrying a scorpion, then he asked if I would mind if he takes a look around this base for extra nails, I said it all good and watched him run around looking, but also watching the surroundings, he said that's it was great to run into a player that didn't kos and spoke to him, then left the area, that was great 😁

I prefer to scout the dupers and meatballers ecspecially along the coastal tree line in DayZ, the fully geared LAR/VSD, M4 all camo duper vs the hunters clothed DayZ player with Mosin and 12G

Yeah that's what we're currently doing with the loot we find, however I believe dev mentioned yesterday that they were testing some fixes, duping included, I also noticed a couple of "test" servers in the server list yesterday, so I think that the next patch release will have a solution to the duping etc... and then I think a server wipe would be required at least as there are huge amount of seachests full of mil rifles all geared.

I was wondering the same thing, my character still has the same green trainers on that he spawned with and still good.

I watched a few times there wolves were chasing deer through the fields at Gorka. Once I was also camping out in the wood quite a distance from a town when I heard running through the woods, so I check which direction it was coming from then got into cover, to my surprise it was a lone Z running right through the woods, not chasing anything, just this one Z that ran right past my camp, that was weird lol

LOL why not craft a backpack as if you find some rope "craft some with 2x Rags(6)" and combine with a split stick and a burlap can have a compact "Camo" style rucksack 🙂

Yeah that's a pretty good idea , I basically have just been ruining the gear for respawn, but read alot on the forum how players are looking for gear mainly Mil weapons but cant find them at spawn sites, the majority of the time these would only be acquired by taking it from another player that has it or running into a base where they find the gear there, but I guess the correct thing to do is to ruin the gear to respawn just to make it fair play 🙂

I tried this before, and nothing, the tents don't take any damage. Was wondering about the tent issues, because I recently came across a tent that I had packed up from a dupers base a while back that I found and despawned the gear , then server hopped and dropped the tent, came across the very same tent in the same location where I dropped it in the exact same place, so this is something that dev need to look at.

Well I found a few of Tundra's that had been duped and stashed in seachests, these were fully geared with scope, ammo and ghillie wrapped with extra .308 ammo boxes, We had ruined them for respawn in DayZ :)

came across it today "assuming its the correct place" not far from your previous base, saw some poles that had been put up already :)

lol yeah, I mainly just play FPP servers, just thought that dev would looking into something like this :)

I was just wondering if devs were going to adjust/fix this, because the "T" sight in 3rd person should align with the scope sight, right now if I aim at something through the Atog, then switch to 3rd person, both target sights dont line up, the "T" sight actually lines up to the right of the actual target where the Atog is targeting.

Hey Donny These normally spawn at construction plots and farm buildings like sheds etc..also the trailers that are parked next to gravel roads, that's the only places I found them at, don't know if they spawn anywhere else.

Yeah this is from drinking dirty water, I noticed that pump water also do this, not only pond water, however this can be cleared by taking one tetracycline which can be found in dayz med center etc... Then any water that is filled in canteens/bottles/pot etc...would need to be purified with chlorine tables which can be found mostly in hunting camps and hunting stands etc....

I checked one of these just as it spawned in, but nothing really of any use other than a box of 9mm rounds which I took for the SG5, all other items were, 2x Large Mil backpacks "Tan & Black" I think the two colors were 3x Beret's "Two red and one blue" 1x Mil jacket 1x Mil pants.

Yeah my character had lag issue inland, no where near any mil camps or towns, was actually at the Towers not far from Gorka running north, server was medium at that point. At the Solnichniy factory there is always random gunfire going off there, might consider running through the woods around that area for some base hunting on some servers.😀

Not that I can recall, I was "zeroing" my rifle yesterday on DayZ from 400m to 200m and double tapped the D-Pad and no open mic there, just saw the mic icon flash each time I pressed it.

In a way yes, but I don't tend to just run into towns/barracks without actually scouting the place out first, most of the time I stand/crouch and watch other players go at it, however what I do in pvp is to get into cover, I always move where is something in front of my character and engage from there, so if I were moving in the woods, I would jog/run similarly to zigzag in a straight line but always have trees in front of my character in case I need to take cover 😀

lol, I only play BF to improve my pvp skills for when I am on DayZ as my home server is an HC server, so the 1FPP is basically the same and I play mostly inland so not a lot of pvp but traveling, but when getting into a pvp situation, the BF skills kick in 🤣

Yeah the lag is now definitely becoming an issue now, I was in a town looting "in the dark 😀" and had agroed one Z which then became a few as I was running around without a torch and the lag was so bad that I had to shoot/lag/run/lag/shoot/lag, lag ,lag, lag/try to reload/lag, run to cover, then more lag LOL
