Lol I wrote that to keep me entertained in a 33 deep queue. But no I don't jest. 3rd person servers are like inflatable armbands in a swimming pool or stabilizers on a toddler bike. Children eventually learn to enjoy the activity properly and discard both.

They need more FPS servers. Cull more corner peaker servers to make room

Sounds great. I don't KOS and agree it should be discouraged but the threat of it should always be there . A lot of the private servers are really going overboard on the safe zones.

I've been passing time attacking massive duper bases. It's fun but getting boring now They just replace everything overnight and it feels wrong finding so many FALs

They must have some sort of deal with Sony to ensure ps and xbox get the updates together which is fucking with us. With update not here until next week I guess it's extreme pubg again until then a landscape of randam tents and treasure chests

I'd love a new region added to existing chenarus with an increased player count for these servers. Say make the map 1/3 Or 1/4 larger. Maybe a snowy mountainous area above tisy or west. The arctic hunter camo might be finnally be useful.

100 person servers I think are perfect. Keen to support one but just seeing how it panes out. I see a lot of people buying 10 or 20 slots which look like a waste of time. People should really take time to pool resources and get larger servers. Some of the RP servers have excessive rules in place like pvp red zones, interact before engagement, bann on party chat etc. While I'd love more interaction and less KOS( I dont do this myself) too much red tape will suck the fun out these servers I found a few cool RP servers which is essentially just vanilla dayz with no duping and cheating which suits me fine although these are likily going to he third person servers( I refuse to play 3rd person dayz) so will have to see what camera angle they will go with on release

I'd pay for a new map and/or expanded map for Chernarus Hopefully expanded map has something to do with expanded player count tests

I'm optimistic. They tested 150 plus and are charging for 100 so there has to be reason for that. Also the current servers aren't supposed to support 9000 tents filled with 9000 more tents glitched inside them. Or dozens of seachests lining the roads like dandelions.

They tested beyond 100 players and it was fine. it won't work with dupers spreading their cancer like they do in servers now but on a legit server it should be fine

Update delayed to August earliest it seems. No point playing the game until then. 100 player servers is interesting. I hope a few official ones are increased to this playercount

Once a gun leaves to a new server it frees up a spot on the existing server as the existing server won't track it anymore

I'm not concerned about the delay of the content. I'm concerned the game has been aĺllowed to persisit in a state where entire servers are unplayable due to chronic cheating and exploiting for months.

Your 100% right. We were supposed to be a few weeks behind and it's months at this point. The game has been malfunctioning for ages now and utterly overrun with exploits and cheaters with nothing been done to fix it. It makes me wince being on the xbox dayz community Facebook page seeing endless posts from excited new players saying they are ready to play a survival game and looking for tips when they are about to be plunged into a gaping incontinent asshole of a game in its current state. How many of those people will get killed 12 times over by some c*nt using his 3rd alt account with Lar 15 mags and meat balling in a plate carrier before, 13 time, escaping the coast and being rewarded with running across the vast expanse of Chernarus devoid of people. Glorified pubg. Millions of seachests, tent cities, cancer esque players with 8 different alts all duping kits and telling others how to do likewise on duper Facebook groups with numbers in the 100s. The only answers we get is a a Twitter that treats us like idiots posting stupid gifs at every question that's answered. I guarantee, despite how much grief they get, if the big evil empires of the gaming world like EA or Activision find someone was cooking the ticket bleed in battlefield or calling in instant nukes on cod they have this hotfixed in a week Shame on you Bohemia

Exactly this. The first thing a corner peeker does in a child server when they see someone is frantically try position themselves so they can adjust the third person camera to view their opponents while they do likewise. It's ridiculous. Third person perfect for an action game like gears of war but it has no place in a hardcore survival game like dayz. On a third person server you effectively spawn with rags, a stone knife , a drink, fruit and an invisible hi tech surveillance drone you can use to see over walls and around corners.
