I don't think they will wipe with 1.05. They stated that they will try to avoid wiping if at all possible, and the they will let the community know in good time if a wipe is coming. Anyway, if it comes it comes - try not to worry about it, we have no say in it anyway.

Its a huge game, and as they just released a huge update for it bugs is to be expected - and in general there is way less of them then I personally had expected for such a big update. If you cant handle that then this game is not for you - it is not something new and with a game like this its normal. And if you think this is the worst thing to happen in this game, then you are probably not one of us that lived through a month of night-time and then a month of night-time and nonstop rain or the other crazy stuff they put us through since it released in preview for Xbone. Months of night-time and night-time plus rain was ridicules - in general 1.04 is miles better than 1.02 so calm your horses a bit and maybe play a couple of other games in between your DayZ-sessions as that usually helps if one is tired of the situation or just got KoS'ed by some no-mic jerk. As long as they keep up the good work they done the last months then I am happy enough with the situation, it ain't perfect, but consider this: We can walk around in the big towns and cities again as the big parts of them are not lag-traps (where you could get 30 seconds of no frames at all and at the same time be killed by a single zombie that still can move), we can throw stuff around, god-tents are gone, we got a shit-ton of new functions and even more is coming with 1.05 (including vaulting!), so maybe try to enjoy that instead of focus on the small parts of the game that is bugged and will probably be fixed by the next update. I know there a loads of people in here who claims to have made better games over a weekend alone (that is exactly what some dude wrote a month ago lol) and hundreds of people that are sooo much better the BI that they could either fix the whole game and bring it up to 1.42 in half a day or make it from scratch and better in a week (...), but funny enough none of them have released any of those games or any of those amazing updates so far - it makes no sense to me. 😉 Maybe it just ain't as easy to fix as some people think? 🙂

Its probably the same thing most people are seeing, and then they are describing it differently. For me it looks mainly like day-time BUT with a slight green grainy-filter on top, so both descriptions pretty much fit. I would like it to go all green though, but the most important thing is to get them working when they are attached to straps or tactical helmets as 90% of their functionality is lost when they can only be used as stationary binoculars. @RoscorabbitI hope you got yourself a cup of tea by now and is chill again bro, otherwise im here to take a second beating for answering the questions lol.

I have messed around with a lot of flashbangs and have had 3 or 4 of them explode in my hands. We were trying to see if it was possible to pick a thrown grenade up and throw it back before it exploded (spoiler, it ain't!) and the best result we got each time was to be able to pick it back up but we never had time to get it thrown back. I never lost the top-layer of white though.

Duping is definitely a thing again, I had hoped it would take way longer - but there are already vids on how to dupe in 1.04 floating around - and apparently its pretty easy as usual. In a week or two the coast will be full of fully-geared idiots with LARs hunting for fresh spawns as that apparently is all they can handle... 😕

First, he did NOT write that he had 5 rifles on his body disappear at once - it most likely happened several different times. And why blame the man IF he did the massive work of finding 5 rifles? If he plays a lot then he probably earned them. Dont blame the man because you miss your duped guns, cope with it instead. If it ain't complaining about too much duped stuff then people are complaining about that they can't find the weapons that are supposed to be very hard to find, its a real bad joke by now! 😉

So the only point of the game is to be massively armed and going around being "da boss"? Personally I would like a bit more AR's, but I think most of you are just missing the duping-dayz! 😉 If it ain't complaints about too MANY guns because of duping, then its complaints about too few weapons because people are not duping - its a bloody joke! 😄

There are plenty of low-pop servers to be found yes, it just depends on which time of day you are playing. 🙂

Are you literally meaning every 5 minutes or is that an exaggeration to get your point across? For me and my mates it seem to happen every 1-2,5 hours, and it happens to everyone on the server at the same time. What server are you playing on? Im on EU-3978 and EU-4722 most of the time (if not private servers).

Its a common problem on all the public servers, so we are all in the same boat. Unless we join a low-pop private server where no one else have been picking up all the good stuff yet. Me and some mates are preparing a private server right now, and AR's are not easy to get - but we are able to find them without too much trouble (as in checking mil-bases for 10 hours without finding any). Hoping it goes live (as in with no password) soon. 🙂

Please stop quoting the ENTIRE list of patch-notes every time somebody want to add a new comment. It takes forever to scroll past and its just a waste of everybody's time and clutters up a otherwise fine thread. 🙂

You will notice 3 other threads just like this in the first section of this very same forum (and there are probably more around the place). Next time, maybe try a quick search first and give one of the already made threads about the topic a go instead of making yet another one - it makes it hard to find the correct info when it is posted in maybe only one of the threads about and the rest just makes it harder to find it. 🙂 And meta-gaming is not allowed here on the forum, so posts about where to find bases on certain servers and such are not allowed and will get deleted. Your server is just like all the other public servers and the amount of ARs and such that the CLE is allowed to spawn has already been spawned, picked up and is in circulation on the server - so you have to go out and look for the bases or buried stashes where they are or the players that are carrying them.

What is the problem in servers with few slots? As far as I see it the problem is mainly the filters and such when you try to filter through the thousands of private servers - if that worked the the very low-pop servers only used by a few would stay in the bottom, right now the filters hardly work which makes it a mess, but that is hardly the fault of the people who ordered a small-slotted server. I am part of a RP-group where we are trying to set up a quite large-slotted (60-100 slots) server with safe-zones, open pvp-zones, traders and such and it was chosen to start it out as a 10-man server which would be enough for the starting-process where we are building up the trader-bases and such plus getting everything ready and the right people in positions. When that is done pretty soon a couple of selected clans will be let in first to make their claim to certain areas and open for the public on weekends, and after that fully open to everyone (maybe with 1-2 days with password a week to give the clans a bit of time to build safely and let the traders re-stock if anything is needed and such. When doing it like that it would a waste of some serious dough to buy a 60-100 slot server right away as we right now are between 0 and up to about 8 online on it at any time. Anyway, I like options - and the problem right now as I see it is not added options (we generally got to few of them on Xbox vs PC already!) but the lack of tools to filter them correctly. 🙂

It can be hard to get rid of, I had one character that refused to get well even after several full packs of tetra (taken one at a time until the medicine-icon disappears and then another one) plus charcoal tablets and codeine just to top it off. Then yesterday some KoS'ing idiot shot me in the back the other day (I was dumb and thought it was a teammate coming up the stairs), that took care of the problem. Luckily the non-talking jerkwad got taken care of by my two mates who were less then 100 meter away and after using 30-40 minutes to get back I got all my gear back plus my share of the idiots. Lesson: Come and say hello next time instead, you might meet some new friends instead of losing all your gear because you got the loot-fever. 🙂

You can't server-jump anymore (try and you will be as far from Tisy as possible, so good luck getting back) and IF you did it AND found a weapon AND left to another server with it then it would not count in the CLE of that server anymore and would spawn again. So, not really. 🙂

Last 3 helicopter crashes I've seen had no rifles at all - public servers.

Public server, EU. Low-pop during down-time, high-pop in evenings and weekends.

If they are brought to another server then they are not a part of the CLE on the server they left from anymore and it would spawn another one - that is not happening at the tier 4 military locations right now (you gotta be extremely lucky and probably be loot-cycling to do it...).

Exactly. I am not expecting it to be easy to find myself an AR, but i DO expect _some sort_ of weapons to spawn at the highest tiered military base (tier 4) after taking the chance to search it all through by myself on three separate occasions - at least an AK74 or whatever, but I got nothing (not even smg's or sk's as they are tier 1, 2 and 3 and tiny is tier 4). Right now I guess helicopter-hunting is the best way to get something if anything at all.

That is a whole other situation then the public servers or the high-pop (big slotted) private servers which I guess these threads are about. I ran through half of VMC on a private server an hour ago and found 1 AKM and 1 M4 - but what is the fun in that if there aint other people around to play with? And on the public server I usually play on I ran through Tisy THREE times over two days and I found exactly ZERO weapons of any kind. Lots of ammo and mags for all the high-tier weapons, good clothing, vests and helmets plus accessories - but no weapons _at all_.

Well, I ran through Tisy 3 times in 2 days (at times when there was very few people on the server so I could have it for myself) and I found _exactly_ zero weapons. None at all - not even SKS' as apparently they are tier 3 and Tisy is tier 4 and all the AK74s, AKMs and M4s have been looted up so the CLE dont spawn any new until they are de spawned somehow or gone to another server.

I checked through Tisy 4 times (all of it) in the last 3 days, and I found _zero_ guns of any kind. Lots of clothing, vests (plate carrier and tactical), helmets, ammo and mags - but _no_ guns of any kind.

Was attacked by 6-7 wolves together with a mate yesterday. Just ran into a solo one that gave up its chase on me. Pack-size seems to be a lot different from time to time. 🙂
