That is BY FAR what kills me the most, and it is at the same time the worst and most annoying way to die as you don't have influence on it at all - one second you are fine, then the game lags out and you are dead with absolutely no way to avoid it. It even happened to me in some smaller towns where it should not have been a problem at all. And as far as I can reason then it is 100% server-side (it aint the client/xbox/internet as it happens to everyone at the same time,and group-chat and such works fine during which counts internet-burps out too) and its even getting worse from update to update. It was bad before 1.0, but after 1.0 the lag-outs are way more frequent and waaaay longer - earlier the longest on I've had was about 15 seconds, now its 30-40 and im sick of it. In a game like this that is NOT okay in any way, it is screwing the player base over and over (without lube even) and not giving out cab-money afterwards, I honestly feel offended by it after so long time. Devs: You really need to fix this, either invest in some better servers or make it so the world (and the zombies) DOES NOT keep moving while the players are standing still, waiting to die and contemplating the meaning of life. You got a great fucking game (better then any I know) but its plagued by a few important bugs that fucks it up beyond imagination and to a point where there basically is NO reason at all to go looting up and basically makes the coast a shit-show as everyone refuses to leave it and the inland a barren desert on most servers. Until you fix it then I will not be complaining about dupers again, they just want to play the game with the functions that are in it that the devs are denying them access to because of bugs that have not been ironed out after waay too long.

There are a couple of ways to get both group-chat and game-chat into the same headset, but it usually involves the use of a phone/tablet and a bit of extra wires. It ain't that hard, but it still won't help you talk to all the people who are still in party-chat... Personally I would love it if they could totally block party-chat while DayZ is open on the Xbone, just it was with select games on some of the earlier xbox-consoles.

Probably - cars and clothing that are ruined seems to despawn (with everything in them) in about 5-10 minutes.

Its easier then it ever was and a lot easier and faster then running from the coast to NWAF or Tisy where they are usually found. Go on a high-pop server and run towards the shots, usually there is lots of gear to be found (because of the duping) either on the ground if you keep you eyes open or on other people that you can knock down with your can of soda or whatever. If it does not work the first time, you do it again - you are a Bambi so you got nothing to lose. That or go raid any of the bases (usually full of duped shit) that are all over the map if you again keep your eyes open. Way too easy.

I can recommend PUBG to you, there is lots of ARs and its a great game. Personally I don't think ARs should be that easy to come by - sure, fix the duping, but let the real good weapons be something that is really rare to come by and something you really cherish when you get (and cry about when you lose) instead of something you can easily go grab at lots of destinations you can jog to fast like it sounds like you want it to be. PS - there are plenty of real good weapons to use in the game, even the skorpion is a beast if used right (so low recoil compared to the other full-auto's, its a laser) and the shotgun which can be found in most coastal towns along which plenty of ammo is a straight-up beast. Anyway; Usually the fights are not determined by what gun is used but by which hands holds them and how well they are used. 🙂

I understand your reasoning not to want to do a large roadmap, but how about just telling us what you are actually working on for the next months to come? That should be pretty easy and would go a long way to begin with. PS - Still waiting for the helicopters. 😉

Me and a mate found the Olga yesterday. After using some hours to collect all the stuff to get it started we tried to get it working, but we could not find the place to actually put oil into it (water and gas was no problem). I could not pour water from my cooking pot into the radiator either, I had to pour it over into a bottle and then do it from that. I went on reddit and searched, and some people claim that you can't put oil on it at all and that it drives without it as its bugged or it aint fully implemented on it yet. So we decided to try driving it without the oil, and about a kilometer down the road the car was ruined. We took a couple of shots _just_ as we drove away from the gas-station where we found it (that shit was tense lol) and I am not sure if it was some of the bullets that hit the car that made it go to a ruined state further down the road or if it was the lack of oil. Any info would be appreciated, I still got all the parts (which still were pristine when I took them of the car) and I know the place of another Olga.

It might have been low water, we only had 1,5 cooking pot to fill with. Im gonna try with another one now, I almost got all of the parts. TY for the quick reply! 🙂

Bashing on somebody who is acting grown-up and has realistic expectations does not make you seems larger the life bro, rather the opposite. 😉 And it still ain't cheating as such, get your definitions up to date. 🙂

Defensive? I think you are projecting dude. 😉 And yes, it does warrant different approaches, if you can't see that then that is your problem. If anyone was straight up cheating then that would be a first on the Xbox one and at would probably make them disable the whole network (meaning that only single player games would work until it was fixed). Someone exploiting a glitch that was unintentionally left in the game by the devs is a totally other thing and is not cheating as such (even though it's damn low), it's called glitch-exploitation and is generally the devs fault for leaving the possibility in he game. It is game-destroying and the idiots doing it should be water-boarded (In-game) but is is NOT the same thing by far. Does that make sense to you? If not the good luck in general lol.

The problem also is that they ain't cheating as such, they are exploiting the glitches that BI has idioticly left in the game and that does not usually warrant the same treatment as if people are actually straight-up using cheats.

Asking totally random people for handouts over the net is usually bad style unless it's because your whole life did totally break down. Is your life totally breaking down because your GF won't allow you to start saving fifty bucks for a video-game? My reply would be get a job, get a guitar and go to the streets or ask for it for your birthday as i assume you are not grown up. And IF you are not grown up then this kind of game is probably not for you in the long run yet.

Why would they? They got professional testers, starting to take randoms in from all over the world (and most of them just want to fool around with new functions before the others) would be a mess. Anyway, we are the guinea pigs.

It's not a silencer, but a supressor - so it ain't silenced. And the bigger the weapon you put it on the bigger the boom and radius for alerting zombies.

I made a topic about this a week ago but no one replied to it yet.

They just did a server-side update of some kind. They made a post (on Facebook or twitter) about the servers being down for about half an hour, they are ustill again now. i don't know what the update is about though, I can't find any info on it.

Me and my mate had been looking since the update, and for the last two days we done nothing but running around at NWAF looking for them with no luck. Then suddenly in less then five minutes we found two AK's! Thats the way of the RNG... 😉
