Y Yes, some kind of info would be very much appreciated. Especially after the repeated delays and broken promised about when it would arrive (plus it being 3 months or so since 1.03 released for PC and we are supposed to be "3 weeks" behind the PC-port). Any kind of info on when it arrives or patch-notes would be a good start as I imagine I am not the only one checking the forum for it every other hour to no avail. -
Why complain about it - you can just Dude, if anyone is being pathetic here its you (and im only mentioning it because you are throwing the word around yourself). You got the feature you yourself like, but calls other people suffering and pathetic because they would like a previous function they like re-instated. Why? You can just keep using the feature you like and encourage those around you to do the same while the rest of us like the feature we were used to. You see my point?

NL 3906 is no longer on the server list what happened?

As far as I can see then it is not on the list: I dont know if they added any more though. Im not at home right now, so I can't check if 3906 if available for me - but ill check when I get home later tonight and will let you know. -
If you used 8 hours to build 10 walls then you are using about 5 times more then me or the mates I play with - and we are not talking about using duped items.

Are you for real? I posted the info he was looking for, and whether the tweet was out about it at the time of his writing makes no change to the context of the thread. I gave correct info (that is already here on the forum many places) and politely encouraged him to look around on the forum for a minute as a good rule before you make new threads - and this is your reply? It sounds like YOU are the one that should have thought before posting.

As you would be able to read if you looked around in the same forum as you are posting on for 1,5 minute then you would have read (in both posts by multiple in multiple threads and official posts from Impulz) that it went into certification (for the third time) Wednesday and we are waiting for it to pass. Supposedly it passed that certification but won't be dropping until some time after monday. I made it easy for you, next time please use a minute to check if there are topics about the same question (and there is pretty much nothing else right now) instead of making yet another one - it makes the forum more muddled and makes it harder to find what you are actually looking for. ๐

Just don't jump in any car that does not have 4 wheel and you will be good. They start to spin randomly through the air (and they can get _really_ high _really_ fast!) if you jump in them when they have less then 4 wheels, but if you jump out quick enough (spam X really fucking fast if it happens) then you will usually be okay or "only" unconscious. ๐ Hopefully it will be fixed with the new update, if any PC-players are around then they can probably tell us if its working in 1.03 + 1.04 as they've has both of those updates for quite a while (its almost 3 months since 1.03 was released for PC and about a month since 1.04 was, which is very cruel joke on the console-players who according to BI is "3 weeks behind the PC-port").

Vaulting and climbing IS getting implemented! I remember reading about it in an (not old) official post pretty recently - they even showed a pic of a character climbing a wall in the new engine. It said something about that they were working on it and was in the middle of making all the different animations for it and getting it to work properly. We will probably have to wait some months for it, but I very much doubt that they will not deliver on this one.

Just curious - how many hours have you played the game on Xbox (it can be seen in the stats of the game under your profile)? I know that if I was MS (which I ain't lol) then I would not be giving out refunds to anyone who played the game over 25 hours (and I would probably set it even lower to be honest). But that is a matter of opinion, and just like assholes everyone got one - which this forum have become a constant reminder of lol. ๐ Edit: Spelling.

If you do some pretty basic math on how many hours the standard DayZ-players has played and how much the game costs, you will see that this game pr hour costs waaaaaaaaaaaay less then pretty much every other game out there. So I would say that people are getting their fair share of content and at a very fair price. If you dont like it then there is the refund-option. Personally I paid 40 bucks for it and would have paid 60 in a heartbeat.

Then you are in the wrong part of the forum, and it would have made sense to your arguement to state in your first post about the subject in here as we are discussing the Xbox-version here and _not_ the PC-version (and to be honest you also mentioned that it was broke in 1.02 in your first post in this thread - which they aint, not for us in this forum which this discussion is about anyway). But yes, Im all for stopping it. ๐

You are clearly having a bad day. Try to understand that is IS HOW YOU WANT IT TO BE. You tie the bandana up and then you can use it like any other clothing. And this has nothing to do with whether it can be used to bandage up forever - that is just you trying to muddle the discussion as you are on sliding ground. How hard is to understand? And try to keep that tone for your mother instead, clearly she has forgotten to do your laundry or something along those lines.

Yep, and "things" just happened again with yet another delay of an update that been out for almost a quarter of a year for PC while they claim that Xbox is "3 weeks behind the PC-version". I already "build my character" AND purged it so your hakuna matata-stuff (and OMG, a laughing smiley from Bearjew - I feel soooo humiliated as always) really dont work here. ๐ If you ain't yourself annoyed by now then congrats; you are no longer human!

Sorry to tell you, but it ain't broken just because you cant figure out how to do it. It works perfectly, and that report you posted is about 1.03 experimental and as such as no use here. Tie the bandana up to use it as clothing and un-tie it to use it for bleeding cuts - its actually all very easy. And how do we use EVERY other item in the game? WE HOLD IT IN OUR HANDS AND PRESS RT. ๐

Actually they are not bugged at all. They are just using a new mechanic that most people have not figured out. To equip a bandana it NEEDS to be tied up first! To do that you equip the bandana to your hands (and go out of the inventory if you are in that) and press RT - that should tie it up AND equip it in one go. To do that you must of course have nothing equipped in the inventory-slot the bandana is supposed to use. When you want to use it to stop bleeding (it can be used forever by the way, it does not get used up like rags or other stuff) you have to equip it to your hands and press RT once again to untie it - and then press once more (after you stopped the bleeding) to tie it up and equip it again. I noticed this by accident the other day, I killed a guy that was wearing one and I could see that it was tied up which got me curious, so I started messing around with it until the mechanics made sense to me. So we have all (most of us anyway) just been fools and have not been doing it right and have been complaining about it not working for a quarter of a year. So far it has worked for everyone I met who tried it (5-6 different people who all had not been able to do it since 1.02). In Short: To take bandana on: Tie the bandana up and equip by holding it in your hands and press RT while NOT in inventory. To use against bleeding: Untie the bandana (if it has been equipped) by holding it in your hands and press RT while NOT in inventory and then hold RT.

DayZ Update 1.04 Expected In August?

I _very_ much doubt that any big updates will be pushed out on a sunday. And we don't know from what the update was "a couple" of days delayed (hopefully a couple meaning 2, we dont know that precisely either), it might be from Wednesday or it might be from the 31st or whatever they chose. We will most likely have to wait to august - yet another BI-promise broken, its that not big of a promise but its yet another to the collection. PS - Helicopters anyone? ๐ -

That is the explanation I've come to myself. I am playing on Xbox where we can't control any of the graphics, and while driving on the roads _between_ the towns I can push it all the way up to 100 km/h without lagging out, but as soon as I enter a medium-sized city with above 30-40-50 km/h I lag out for 10-20 seconds and can do nothing but push the brakes (which usually does nothing as the game ain't accepting inputs after the lag-out) and hope for the best situation possible. I've lost several cars and a couple of passengers this way. It seems like the game cant handle loading all the assets from the medium/bigger towns fast enough when you are approaching them at a solid speed and then simply "freezes" (no inputs work and you got no frames at all, but the game goes on and can kill you in the meantime) and does not let you do anything until it has caught up. I am pretty sure its servers-side, and not client-side or dependent on your internet-connection.
