Another update for you console mates.

Sounds pretty much like "The Forest" with zombies instead of cannibals and...things. Maybe that game would suit you. Also ArmA2/3 has tons of user made content involving zombies and missions, may be worth a look. But please, leave the sandbox like it is, without any missions or whatnot. This game is getting a more and more arcade feeling as it is. IMT also got a point, we may be "core feature complete" - whatever that was supposed to mean - but there is still a lot of stuff missing.

While the backpack thing would be a little over the top for my liking, balancing or a better simulation of pockets would be a welcome addition. I guess this is one of the things that got streamlined for console releases, making it as easy as possible to fit stuff in, even if it doesn't make much sense, like your example with cooking pots inside pants. But as already stated, this will more then likely be a job for modders, just like fishing, helicopers, diversitiy of weapons etc etc...at least we can climb now, yay.

Np mate, always helping when i can. Since nobody came up with any ideas yet, I thought about this a little longer, going deeper into the other error messages that ticket is showing. We should check out the basics of the basics, hardware problems. I know I am ignoring some things, like the friend logging into your friends account with the same outcome, but better safe then sorry. Lets concentrate on 3 things, GPU, HDD und RAM. The easy thing first. GPU problems are pretty easy to check, download the FurMark ( https://geeks3d.com/furmark/ ) - it may look like a hairy butt, but it will show GPU probems very effectively and quick. Crank up those parameters and let it run for a while. Next up, HDD. That notebook comes with a HDD and an SSD (1 TB HDD, 256 GB SSD). I guess Windows is on the HDD. From my time as an apprentice I can highly recommend Hirens Boot CD ( https://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ ) for diagnostics. That thing comes with a bootable OS and a lot of tools to sniff out hardware problems. Older versions may also work if you can't find what you are looking for on the current version. For the SSD i would go with tools from the hardware manufacturer, like Samsungs Magician for checking the health status. Usually HBCD also comes with a RAM diagnostic and afaik Windows also got a build in one. I recommend more then 1 check. If every check ends up OK, great, but not so great when looking at our problem here.

Eh, more or less. Garages behind or next a police station, ideally on the same property, yes. But houses next to a police station? Why should a normal person living there have police stuff under his table? Also, I hate stealth changes. Thats what a changelog is for -_-

Thanks, that model got a GTX1050, more then enough. Just to rule out some more of my thoughs: Are you playing with mods? Had a problem myself after 1.05 where i had to start dayz without any mods first before it worked All drivers up to date? I know, standard question, but updating drivers can help, especially after reinstalling windows. A quick google search brought up problems with antialiasing, so it may be worth a test to edit the DayZ.cfg inside the "Documents" folder. Set the according paramerts to 0 and try again.

I always have trust issues with packed files from unknown sources. Can you please start with the basics and give us his/her full system specs here? Also, does the problem only occur on a single server? Cause you are talking about killing the char.

At least they tried in ArmA1 - they removed all those little rocks capable of sending you into space later on 🤣 They were back in full force in ArmA2. Good old times! The fly model of the helicopers in Arma 1 1.0 (DE) was even better, took me 2 seconds to flip the Cobra upside down without exploding. Somwhere, deep inside my HDDs I still have a screenshot of that.

Facebook!? Hell NO. Don't give them any funny ideas about using that as a main communication channel, twitter is bad enough. We still got this forum you know, I would be soooo happy about more dev activity here.

They are not dead or zombies (undead), that was my point, they are infected with a virus we know nothing about, except what happens to most of the population when getting in contact with said virus. Also, I've seen seniors with much more stamina then my have-been-smoking-for-way-too-many-years butt. Getting back to 28 days/weeks later, I don't think those infected had any problems with their stamina either. ...yeah and also this.

I demand proove for this, go to the nearest zombie you can find, outrun him and show us the footage. On a serious note, they are called infected for a reason. They are not undead afaik but infected with a virus, much like 28 days/weeks later. Dunno about that starving thing though.

Just to break the everlasting cycle of OT questions (I'm getting twitter flashbacks here): could you tell us why its nessessary to switch all servers, some of them even to a new location? If that question arises in our community it would be good to know.

My partner and I were once followed by a group of 5 after a little skirmish near Vybor base, we managed to retreat to the single house south of Stary Sobor. But just when we were about to enter that house my partner dropped dead from a headshot. So while trying to defend my position I slowly ran out of ammo. Remembering that I was shot in the back while being naked after surrendering to the Sacriel gang, I swore to myself to never let me get captured in such situation again. As a last resort I pulled out my grenade and when 3 of them tried to storm the house I pulled the plug and said goodbye to this cruel word. 2 of them didn't survive, so that fight was even.

That was last week, now we got monday, so plenty of "week" left for them to get it rolling. After that you can expect 1-3 weeks for the console release.
