The loot system is fine though. Honestly though i wish food, guns and ammo were a touch more scarce. I find guns, ammo and food everywhere so theres really no struggle or challenge to survive.

120kph is only 74mph so its really not that crazy fast

I was driving down the coastal highway in a wide open empty section. I slow down around towns and citys though.

Currently, when you join an HC server it doesnt force you to FPP like it should. If you switch to FPP you cant change back so thats working correctly. I guess its a little bug. *EDIT* i reported it on the feedback and bug tracker just in case it is a bug.

Yeah happens to me too. I recently crashed just after running a player over. Karma i guess. My car was going 120kph when my game crashed. I re joined and it was toast.

There are mods on pc to do this. I doubt it will be changed by bohemia though.

I wonder if stuff like mortars, rocket launchers, vehicle mounted belt fed MGs, C4 and tanks will ever be added. I could see the ammo and tank parts being super rare and have them guzzle fuel like an alcoholic at happy hour. That would be really cool. Theres tons of old outdated tanks in that part of the world so it wouldnt be that big of a stretch.

Bohemia is working on an RPG-7 rocket launcher. Its the only rocket launcher confirmed to be coming to the game at some point.

Well mount MGs will come when the helicopters are added by bohemia.

Yeah but it takes just 5 pounds of weight to set them off. You wouldnt want to put too much dirt on them lol. Maybe putting leaves or foliage on it would be a better idea. But i do like what you are thinking.

Nope. You can jump over them now though. I have jumped over 2 mines successfully. It would be cool if you could use a screwdriver and scissors or knife to disarm them like you can in reality.

Another good technique to find stashes and bases is to use binoculars to look far into the distance. The bases and stashes will stick out because the foliage and landscape hasnt fully rendered in yet. The trees arent as thick or detailed at distance and some small bumps and hills can be seen through because to you their just flat and arent there until you get closer. Good luck and have fun!

Players usually hide their stashes and bases near the west and north edge of the map and near major loot areas or construction loot spawns. Look where you would hide a stash and also look for flat ground because large and car tents can really only be placed on really flat ground but there are some exceptions. Medium tents and barrels are more forgiving. People can also bury stashes but its pretty obvious where they buried it becaus of the way the ground looks after.

The garage im talking about is usually a yellow color. You can also just steal them from other players. Hunting down player stashes and bases is really fun and rewarding, too.

Large tents and car tents spawn in military zones, tents, barracks, green containers and buildings. Medium tents and barrels spawn in industrial buildings, houses and anywhere construction loot spawns. I have found many in houses in villages and cities. Also in the garages with the two big doors in front and an open doorway on the side. They have a shelf against the back wall and two metal boxes against the right wall.

Do you anguish at the thought of being killed and losing your gear? Do you fear wipes or your stashes being raided? Well if so, you have come to the right place! 1. Dont get to attached to any piece of equipment. Keep in mind that everything is temporary. 2. Try to make friends or join up with people you already know. Traveling in groups builds confidence. 3. Hide multiple stashes around the map. Stock up those stashes with gear so you will always know where supplies will be. Dont put all of your eggs in one basket! 3. Learn the map. iZurvive is a great website to use to learn the lay of the land. Map knowledge will be an important advantage over your enemies or prey. 4. Practice your marksmanships against zeds or animals in a low pop server. Knowing the ins and outs of your guns will help you tremendously. 5. Dont be afraid to hunt down other peoples stashes. Locating and taking someones stash is a real rush and fun, too. 6. Dont be afraid of dying. If you get killed it isnt the end of the world. You still know where your hidden stashes are and its also not that hard to find gear again. 7. And finally dont server hop or combat log. Its just bad etiquette. Plus its important to explore and learn where items spawn. On the combat logging, you need to get some combat experience. that experience will give you an edge and confidence in a fight. Combat logging teaches you nothing. Even if you get killed, you still learn from your mistakes and what not to do next time. Thanks and remember good sportsmanship. There seems to be a misunderstanding or an ignorance about the fact that the game isnt finished and still in development. It seems xbox players think that just because you can buy a game preview and play it, that its finished and is going to be feature complete. I now understand why sony doesnt allow in development games to be purchased and played.

They know theres issues with the game and they are working their asses off to fix them. They have monthly status reports on whats next. They regularly livestream and talk about the game. They are always on Twitter talking to and helping people with issues. They hear your feedback and they really do care. All of these issues will be fixed. I would understand the anger if they weren't doing anything about these issues but they are. Also i dont understand the mentality of shitting all over a game thats not finished and still in active development. Be patient

So i decided yesterday that i needed some extra storage for all of my loot (had 1 med tent, 6 barrels and a car tent). I decided the best way to get more is to steal someone elses hard work. I proceeded south on the very west edge of the map being very careful to check every nook and cranny. Around the edge by zelenogorsk, i just happen to pull out my binoculars to scan a nearby hillside and bam, i saw 2 car tents, some barrels and some medium tents just out in the open. I waited and looked for a while and didn't see any movement. I then proceeded to move very slowly and cautiosly, but still no movement. The car tents had car stuff. Boring. But the good stuff was in the barrels and medium tents. I got 3 SVDs, 5 suppressors 2 of which are akm compatable, a ton of mags and ammo, a full ghille suit and much much more. I took most of it, including the tents, and left the rest on the ground to despawn. I finally got my extra storage. P.S. Dont "hide" your valuables in one camp thats exposed on a hill side.
