Yeah I really dont understand. I had this happen months ago but I just waited and it fixed itself. Now it's been over 5 hours and still I'm locked. I've been playing since it came out on Xbox. Now I just literally can't play? There's no fucking support to get ahold of either. Wtf are we supposed to do.

Oof, that's kinda shit. I hope they add a quick button to allow you to pull an item out while moving. If I get shot at and dont have my gun in my hand, it would be a real pain to have to stop moving just to get it.

I'm not sure whats wrong right now. I updated my game today to the newest patch (full release) and hopped on to play when it was done installing. I played for about 35-40min on 1 server and the server message at the bottom said there was 10 minutes until reset, so I decided to quit and join a new server so I won't lose any progress. But when I tried to join a new server I got the "Character locked in database" message with the 5 second countdown thing. I had this happen a couple months ago when DayZ was first released on Xbox and I was told to just quit the game and wait about an hour. That worked before. However now I'm still locked. I really don't understand why. I literally only played on 1 server, I didn't server hop at all. There's no customer service to contact so I'm just reaching out to see if this is happening to anyone else and if anyone has a fix. Just to add I also tried deleting the saved game data after I waited over an hour.

I'm really happy with this update overall, there's just some things that obviously need to get ironed out. Such as, holding Y on items in your hand just puts them in your inventory instead of dropping, guns jam but there's no way to access the animation that unjams your gun, pressing Y with a weapon in your hand just makes your switch to your next item in the hotbar instead of reloading, various things not rendering in, crashes and then of course the constant freezing cold rainy nights. Anyway, honestly I am very happy with the update I'm glad things are moving along. Ignore the idiots bitching and complaining, this is a GAME PREVIEW. These children bought the game expecting AAA quality right off the bat. This isn't even BETA yet. Give it time people, be patient. This game has so much potential and is already great.

Does anyone know when/if more guns will be added? I've seen in older videos people with rifles, shotguns and bows. The way the looting is right now you basically have to travel inland a ways to get guns. I know there's the Mosin and IZH-18 that you can find in random houses and whatnot, but there's RARELY ever any ammo for either. By the time you find ammo for either you usually have access to the AK or M4. I know everyone wants cars and base building, but I really think once the other weapons get added along with the ability to actually use rope and finally disease the game would instantly be 100x better. Let me know your guys opinions and if you know when any of these features are supposed to be added.

Dude, it's a game preview. It's not even in Beta yet. It's not the finished game. These are the things that happen... You should've already known that.

This bug occurs when you use "Y" to reload when you're also ADSing (holding Left Trigger). The bullets in that magazine will be "ghost bullets", which wont register when shot. However, if you just use "Y" to reload without holding "LT" everything works fine. Though the extra magazines seem to have to be in your backpack for that to work. I've tested this multiple times and can replicate it every time, if you hold LT and tap Y the gun gets bugged. Hope this helps. P.S. Please add the ability to hold your breath, it's nearly impossible to engage anyone over 250-300m with all of the weapon sway.

Awesome. Now we really need the reloading to be fixed, because if you use "Y" to reload it makes the bullets in the reloaded magazine "ghost" bullets. They don't register on anything, you can even shoot the ground and no impact is made. Lastly a way to hold your breath, it's so damn hard to shoot at anything further than like 200m away.
