I wanted to edit my Chenarus map so that when I eventually switch back from Livonia i have a file good to good with custom spawns, specific loot changes and a lot of small detail and quality of life things. Will editing them while the server is live even though im not playing on that server somehow break the one im playing on? I assume not but id rather be safe than sorry

I’m looking for people to populate my server. It was recently wiped and is modded bringing more heli crashes, guns and other loot. Its no KOS or base raiding but there are areas for pvp and we use an armband to signify PVE players. As you all know, server owners were given more tools so i can ping player locations and also see when they interact with certain things and what not so while I cannot put a complete stop to rule breaking the new tools helps ten times more now. We have a discord that you must join to be able to access the server and get whitelisted. Newer and veteran players are welcome and most of the people that populate are friendly and more than happy to help newcomers but its DayZ so always be prepared. How do I completely wipe my server? I want a fresh start

My server hasn’t been allowing anyone to join my server and im not sure why. Ive tried restarting it and shut it down for a little and still nothing? Has anyone has this issue? I’ve submitted a ticket but im sure it’ll be a bit until i hear anything.

Hello survivors, currently i have a 20 slot server on xbox. KOS is frowned Unless in designated areas (Tisy for the time being). Daytime is about 6 hours and night is 25 minutes. Currently base raiding is not allowed but this may change in the future when the slot count goes up and more players regularly populate. I’ve have the server for almost two months now and upped the slot count a couple days ago, we’ve built a trading outpost and I personally wanna put community camps around the map. There is a discord for the server with rules/expectations and will also be used for announcements for the server. So far everyone seems to have been pretty friendly but always be aware and prepared to defend yourself!

Hello all, i was interested in renting a private server within the next couple of weeks because I’m pretty tired of being killed on sight and not meeting many friendly people. In my opinion this game shines when you run into someone who’s friend was killed by cannibals and you two team up to hunt them down. But instead spawning in on the coast and hitting the nearest town can lead to being chased down by 5 geared players and shot in the back with none saying one word. I have had my fair share of moments where I’ve met with random people and have gone on an adventure that didn’t end in betrayal, but the ratio is one sides as of late. I’m working on a list of what towns would be for pvp and which would be safer areas where things shouldn’t be hostile but there’s still the uneasy feeling of hunted by bandits, cannibals, etc. When it comes to slots the more slots that are needed i would eventually ask for donations though i would support on my own for as long as possible. I like to stream this game and having a server that pushes interaction instead of altercation would bring a lot of life back into the game for me. Rules, pvp zones, safe zones, trade posts, and much more are things that i would like to bring into Chenarus and suggestions are always welcome. Some ideas are pretty obvious like: Military bases (big or small tents) are not necessarily strictly pvp areas but are considered to be hostile areas. If firefights ensue is this area it’s considered common courtesy to bandage or give the downed player a second chance at life rather than a shot to the head. This does not mean you cannot loot and rob them.
