A kill feed would literally kill the DayZ experience, but its also a way to counter name shaming or hate messages etc. Im only on populated servers ( main was 3834, but got reassigned ) and get alot messages and party inv already : "Did u just killed someone at the airfield ?", "are u in bere ?" Etc... Geez, i would love to make the actual player list hidden for everyone. It really shouldnt be an option, atleast not for official/public servers. For example : GTAO, RBSS, CoD, WoT and so on... Hate messages are everywhere, so i really appreciated DayZs choice of disguising that. EDIT : The kill feed, even i dont kill players 99% of my time My friends and i even had a Stalker ( im not even kidding ) back in the days of the 360 in GTAO which was the most horrible thing ever in my gaming history. One of a few reason im not registered here with my Main profile.

We arent feature complete yet ( stability and persistence exclude for a moment ). We are missing controls, thats why we are still in alpha. When we get these features ( testing and fixing done ), we will enter the beta phase. In beta is polishing the game important, however, some stability and Performance issues are atm more important than holding ur breath for example ( even so, its still important for gun play ). Alot of bugs arent Xbox specific only which leads to the system, the devs are using : Pc testing, Xbox"just" porting... Thats why we are content level wise the same, cause they port the whole game to Xbox ( features as well as additions ),not only fixes etc Thats why the Xbox specific issue needs more time ( and they dont want something like world of tanks on pc and console -> very different ) However, its frustrating with these missing things or the other issues and i agree that the lack of Communication sucks ( patch notes etc )

We are content wise at the same level, but features, controls etc are still missing. We are still in alpha on Xbox ( really late stage tho and close to beta )

Its an online game where all players have the option to play like they want ( excluding exploits etc ), so if they decide to attack u they can... However, if you are really complaining about that aspect of the freedom which DayZ offers, u might play another game till they add private servers, but killing other players will most likely stay attractive to alot of ppl... Even with roleplay in mind Sure, its not nice to get shot in the back for " no reason " ( Fun ? The person wants ur gear ? Cannibal ? Plenty of reasons tho... ) Its easier to kill or betray someone, if u have the Advantage. Thats why encounters can be really tedious and ppl are trigger happy. Thats why u shouldnt get attached to ur char or loot.

In der Regel nicht, jedoch auch nicht unüblich. Viele sind ungeduldig, haben was gegen nicht native englisch sprachige Survivor etc. Ich erlebe meistens friedliche Begegnungen mit anderen Spielern. Die Küste, Militär komplexe und außenposten, bzw Polizei stationen sind mit etwas mehr vorsicht zu genießen... Jedenfalls als Hinweis vorab.

Yep 80 slots, not 100. They probably did that to counter the material hoarding ( mesh barrier etc fitted in 1 large backpack before the patch )

Probably more fixed server side stuff that they need longer than expected. Or issues detected. However a small update by BI would be cool.

We all dont like those progress wipe and thats okay. The issue is tho, that some ppl are too attached to some things. Yeah it sucks, but atleast we get alot of other stuff fixed and tweaked.

Problem is : Alot bugs need more than a dot to get fixed. Thats why it take so long. Yes its annoying, but also for the devs who cant solve everything within 24 hours. Its a nasty thing to do tbh.

We are on the Xbox section, so we will go 1.0 next year, not tomorrow. Servers just got the update. Give it a bit time

Im still pretty good at surving hostile encounters ( still alive with the same char when bb got added ), but the most encounters are chilled and end up with a friendly : "See you later bud" or something similiar and im running around Novograd, East Airfield, Svetlo etc ( where my wip base is ) Im hearing alot of gun fire between novo aand svetlo at the outpost there, but most of the time there are ppl just shooting infected and looting it.

I would love that tbh. Combat loggers are just cheaters. No matter the reason why they are doing that. On private servers tho, there will be admins. Only problem here is to proof and expose the CLer... Maybe by having some sort of server list showing admins when ppl leave the server ( time, position/coords ).

Yes, Xbox is working on that front ( i should have wrote that tbh ), but atm, we dont know when its coming.

Server number gets increased if actually more players are playing. The server number at the beginning was just to counter possible thousands of player not getting on one. Now, the player statistic is more or less stable and dont require so much servers. Well tho, i think there should be atleast some locked data server in some sort.

Happened to me. 1 car tent and 1 small one gone. Im glad i didnt build the whole base ( nail, hammer, axes etc are buried ), but i lost alot of meds, food, seeds and ammo, a few guns ( nothing special ). All just gone like it never existed. The Problem is tho : Persistence issues ( crashing, or restarting servers ), switching server ( its possible with a barrel etc in hand ), so some might do that idk and some other things are all possible to **** our plans up atm. For me tho, im not gonna build tents etc anymore till they fix it.

They may test some server settings. I already saw some servers in the list that were locked and relative small ( most of them were a 20 slot server ). They were named. Some were just eewrr etc, but one was q&a so i assume they named them to find the test server quickly. The q&a team is maybe just reproducing bugs to get them fixed and stuff like that, but tbh, idk. It shouldnt be too hard to modify some options for servers, however tho, mods are a completly different thing and i think, till ms doesnt do a steam workshop kinda thing, its harder for the devs ( because then, it have to run everything by the devs itself like with farming simulator, fallout etc ). We will see how it goes.

Its def. a thing. I just dont know the server i was playing on. Its like 10-15 min night and then sunrise and a "normal" day then.
