People are still playing?? I see no point until disease and coldness are at least implemented. Once you explore the map for a few weeks, there is nothing to do but get looted... Then once you're looted PvP is basically out of the question with the current state of the gunplay. it's broken plain and simple. Desync, terrible hit reg., human meat balls. It's just a big hot mess. Do yourself a favor and just put it down until they make it a proper experience.

They have a deadline to catch us up to speed by the end of the year. So within the next month we should see all the content that PC has currently.

My knickers are so twisted. I was actually pretty drunk when I wrote that. hahaha. I am growing impatient though, and all these old PC heads that wake up with DayZ morning wood, and jump right on the xbox forums... Give it a rest. You are the equivalent of the old grandparents that talk of how you had to walk 8 miles through the snow to get to school. Nobody fuckin' cares old man. We want content, and we want it at a swifter pace or at least some more transparency from the devs.

Exactly! Disease isn't in... There is no challenge in "surviving" in this game as it stands. Terribly bleak once you've already explored the map and know the area. @Neophyter Farming simulator might be right up your alley lolol.

Let's be honest. The only people still playing this game in its current state, are people that only care to spend countless hours looting to never get into a fight, or players that are die hard fans of the concept, and are lying to themselves, desperately clinging onto the idea of " what this game could be". All of us who live life in reality realize that this game has fallen terribly short of what we dreamed it would be.

The entire team behind this game is a joke... The joke's on us for forking over $40 to test their broken game. I'll still play it after they add a major content update and fix all the game breaking bugs... There are a handful of them... because conceptually this game is so fresh and interesting. But when they sell it to us without MOST of the features I was most excited about trying. ( i.e handcuffs, hands up (hold up), fishing, bows, camp sites, hold your breathe, ghillies, cloth dying, leather working, spray paint, more guns, more military clothing, cars, and more) and there has been months without a single content update, I am losing hope. PC players waited 5 years for any update. They are rushing the game to get to 1.0 without adding any of the above features mentioned, and " plan to add them after the full release". I doubt it. They will take their cash and head out the back door, and if they don't, I'll get a nice content update when I hit the ripe age of 30...

I've put in countless hours of time into it and realized I've only explored 2/3 of the map. Mad.

I've used the torch. It's broken. The light that is cast by the flame is more distracting then helpful. You can not stick them in the ground. They are only good for completely giving away your position...

In the meantime Red Dead Redemption 2 is absolutely stunning. Days of content and forest to get lost in.

The game is unplayable... Hit reg. is absolutely broken. Frames dropping to 3 per second. No new weapons or features added since release... DeadZ. I'll come back in 4 years when they've added handcuffs and a hold your breathe function... Or for another more competent company to make a title with the same concept and better follow through...

oh haha i noticed you just posted this 13 minutes ago actually. I was in Electro about 5 hours ago. Had a squad of 8 in the church. Lots of bloodshed. Lots of friendship and betrayal. An enemy squad blasted the PURGE announcement over the PA. It was lit.

I heard the purge announcement in Electro. Right around the time you posted this. Would be a funny coincidence if it was in fact you.

This happened to my buddy. He insisted that his aim and character positioning was on point. On my screen he was aiming straight up at the sky. I had him shoot a zombie to be sure. Nailed it. Strange glitch.
