It forces people to take cover, and then in turn have no idea whether the other person(s) moved or not. In TPP you can take cover and just watch from around the corner to see they're next move. Less tactical. (I assume he's talking about suppressive fire, not suppressor attachments.)

Yea that's just weird to me. Because if I join a first person server, and don't switch to FPP, then I can assume the majority of the players in that server have indeed switched to FPP ( since that's what they joined it for) , and I will have a clear advantage by remaining on TPP. Not that I am going to do this it's just an obvious exploit.

You just answered your own question. You run in with a knife, or hay makers. I've knocked out a few fully geared coast hunters.... and guess what... I was fully geared up myself after. Saved me hours of looting. Either this or you could be sneakier, like a paranoid little squirrel. That technique works pretty well too. To all those saying " everything is already looted on high pop"... Not the case. The loot respawns pretty quickly. It generates many times before a server wipe. The loot may be a little more scarce in a high pop .... But the fun will be a little more scarce in a low pop.

Had a crazy fight with a guy once. He had an axe, I had a can of beanz. He got a few good blunt axe swipes on me, but my quick fists and sturdy bean can were no match for him. I knocked him out, Took his axe off his body, and finished him with it. Mind you I was bleeding heavily, So i began bandaging myself as quick as possible. Got my 4th rag off and blacked out. As I was blacked out my bleeding arrows started going back up. I DID IT! I SURVIVED THE AXE ATTACK! AND WOKE UP FROM MY UNCONSCIOUS STATE TO TELL THE TALE! If i had not blacked out it would have taken sooooo much suspense out of the situation... KEEP IT!

Fix the major issues! This last update was worthless when the game is plagued with low FPS in towns, teleporting zombies that appear in groups directly in front and behind you, when one goes agro and alerts 25 more. Cool you made a bunch of glitched out zombies more aware. You've created OP bug zombies you knob heads. I am at a loss for words. Fix your piece of trash game... I won't be playing until sometime next year when you fix the FPS, Broken Zombies, Sound glitches, add leaning and hold your breath... You know... The foundations of the game...

You sir are a combat logging disgrace. I've been in situations where i've been shot at and chased. I've hid in rooms and locked my self in. Only to hear the pursuers locate my position. I could hear them unlocking the door, as I waited in the corner for the assault. They busted in. I killed one. The other got me. THIS MOMENT was one of the grittiest, realest experiences I had in the game. I didn't log out. I waited for my fate like a man. You sir are nothing less than a coward... You think server hoping to get looted is genius??? Are you daft? It's basically cheating man. Like Everyone here has been saying, DayZ isn't for you.

How can you all say that core features listed are all this game needs? The "fluff" features, ie. Fishing, Cloth dying, leather crafting, new weapons, bow and arrow, dynamic snow, decomposing bodies, among many more, are all bound to be cut from the game. With the death of experimental and the birth of an unfinished 1.0, I fear that the appeal of survival will die with it, and the desire to get looted within 2 hours just to race back to pvp the coast will reign supreme. At the end of the day, the majority of the player base just want a game where they can get full mili gear before using a whole bottle of water, and then racing back to KoS on the coast. In my opinon those "fluff" features were the only thing keeping this game from becoming exactly what it is now... A battlefield game that requires you to eat and drink...

I like that approach. Gonna collect some netting and burlap sacks, construct myself a ghillie, and head north for base raiding.

Huh... This is how i've always done it in the past... Guess my inefficient combining methods saved me some confusion in the long run haha.

They've moved onto finishing PC. We are stuck in a bug riddled, dark and stormy purgatory until next year probably...
