Are plate carrier attachments confirmed?? I would love to find a pair of these bad boys and some plate carrier pouches. I would be all for them adding extremely rare textures though. Would be a fun easter egg hunt.

I was having trouble finding one too. Searched All the northern bases... Only found one USG and piles of clips for Ak's and M4's, but no rifle. Decided to make my way to the Northern Hunting cabins, to try and find a PU scope and a Mosin as it seemed my hopes of claiming an AKM were to slim. On my way to the cabins I ran across a player built wall in the middle of the woods. Sure enough there was a camouflaged tent right beside... Had everything I needed. Decked out AK... Mosin with a PU, plenty of ammo. I left him my USG... Not a fair trade but at least I didn't dump his collection.

Just walked into a barracks up in Tissy. Someone had glitched a bear trap so that it was activated at eye level on an open door. If I hadn't been crouched when I entered the room I'm guessing it would have been a headache haha. Kinda wish it got me.

How late will you be on? I'm looking for some netting, and 2 suppressors, Pistol and AK. Are those in stock? Pretty sure I'm in Zelenogorsk so right next door.

I got sidetracked by a comment praising DayZ for having over all better performance than PUBG and that to me is just not the case. You are right that this is not the correct thread to post this opinion.I agree with you though. Most Xbox players want this game dumbed down which is sad. I'd like to see the complexity go even deeper and see some serious performance issues worked on and I will be a happy camper.

On PC it is riddled with cheaters. On Xbox there is virtually very little cheating going on. I was more pointing to frame drops, and hit registration. PUBG is miles ahead of DayZ in that regards. Could you imagine if anti cheating measures were taken on DayZ. The numbers of kicked players would be massive with all the duping and floating torso's about.

Not half as bad as this mess of a game though let's be real...

Fix the frame rate and sound glitches. These two things are absolutely game breaking. Firefights are determined by luck over skill and it's sickening...

Which also irritates the crap out of me because I remember a situation where I was locked in a room and knew 3 guys were coming for me. Could hear them unlocking the door ( the crunching days) and now realize i could have just blasted a clip through the door and probably killed all 3.... Shoot!

Wow I actually did not realize this! Thanks for the info! I do recall being shot while hiding behind a door. Assumed he peeked me through the window but in hindsight I'm almost sure he must have shot through the door...

I will give it a positive review but to say that PuBg runs horrible compared to DayZ is a bit laughable. Have you PvP'd in DayZ lately? The hit reg. is broken and i've never seen such a bad frame drop in any Xbox One title that is worse than DayZ. It's a broken mess but I love it.

It's L trigger to soft aim. L trigger tap RB to aim down irons. Hit LB when aiming down Irons to aim down scope.

Another engaging way to play is to meet up with streamers. Allot of streamers on mixer are open to if not encouraging their followers to meet up in game. This has led to some funny encounters for me. I once met up with close to 20 followers on the same server all in the Elektro church... Ended in a push to shove to murder type scenario but still epic.

Yea exactly this. I personally do just hang around the coast now in high pop servers. Usually a bambi. This is by far the most engaging way to play for me. It's so fun searching for an unsuspecting full gear, and then knocking him out for all his hard work... Or just meeting some merry band of brothers, helping out the less fortunate. I honestly have more fun with nothing in this game then with a back pack full o' junk, It allows for a much looser play style. If i'm feeling chipper I'll make a journey to a base but recently I don't tie my entire experience to making the trip. Trust me... all the stories worth telling will all be found in the high pop servers

Yea it's bad. Really bad. Watched two dudes with M4's run around the inside of a garage, emptying at least 3 clips each before one of them finally fell. You can't tell me they both missed 90 shots a piece before getting the kill. Haha I was scared of being hit with the cross fire so I laid down... after about 200 shots later I realized I was in no danger and stood up lmao.

So now to answer the OP... You have very little chance of finding an AR anywhere other than military tents and bases. However there is a slight chance that you might find one in a Sea Crate. There are multiple spots on the coast that have ship yards with shipping containers scattered about. The Green and Maroon crates are usually the only ones you can open. I've found everything from Field backpacks, Clips, Boxes of ammo, and Ak's and M4's equipped with magazines before. Elektro and Berezino both have military tents and are located on the coast. Also some of my favorite military bases are on the extreme south west of the map on the coast. Personally though I usually make my way up to Tissy military base. There are hunting cabins ( a whole summer camp) where you will find rare items such as hunter camo ( best in game imo) hunter knives, bear traps, hunter backpacks, PU scopes, etc. If I am up north I will always start in CBET and make my way West to the hunter cabins. If I am far south I will either go inland at Elektro, or just continue to the deep south west. Hope this helps!
