This issue is not unique to xbox players and I read plenty of PC forums where people post threads that are repeats of other threads. Please don't show your ignorance by suggesting that pc players are some sort of elite breed.

I'm sure people can speak for themselves and don't need a white Knight to speak on their behalf. I'm sure you feel you're doing all these 'people' a great and noble service. Perhaps just let BI get on with their jobs. You do realise don't you that ranting on here won't speed that process up and insulting other forum users doesn't help your argument, if indeed you have one. It seems to me the best thing to do is play the game as it is and accept it for what it is (game preview) and come back to it when you feel it is in a state you can cope with. I never really understood why people waste so much time crying on forums. If you have bugs to report then use the bug tracker. If you have useful contributions to add or ideas or discussions then that's the place for forums. Of course, you are perfectly entitled to bitch, moan and abuse in the threads but it really doesn't achieve anything other than increase your blood pressure.

Which gauge gun? Are you talking about the mosin bolt action? I haven't found any issues yet. Regarding loot, look harder maybe. It's not supposed to be easy like minecraft.

Agreed, but do we really need pc elitism? It's getting old now. Just because we're 'xboxers' that doesn't make us stupid. I see plenty of PC forums where there are multiple threads on the same topic because they couldn't be bothered to read through old posts too. I don't see why forum users feel the need to resort to insults to make their points, however valid they may be.

Well I'm dead against server hopping. People that server hop have no particular attachment to their character that someone who's had to grind does. They are kill on sight Cod kiddies, pure and simple. I killed another one tonight spawning in to the hunting stand behind the tents at staroye. The cool down timer should be increased to a couple of minutes maybe and also extend the time your character stays in the server. It won't stop the idiots but it might discourage.

The beauty of dayz is in making your own objectives.

I wouldn't like to see any form of indicator telling you where a shot came from. The audio should be enough to pin point direction. The other day I was in berezino and didn't even realise I'd been shot. I was stood over a dead zombie checking for loot. It wasn't till I walked away I realised I was limping. Must have been hit by a sniper with a silencer. In those situations your character should at least yelp but he didn't. At first I thought I was just starving but then noticed I was bleeding from the HUD. I never seem to see blood pouring from my character and it is sometimes hard to know if it's worth bandaging because half the time I've stopped bleeding by the time I've found my bandages!

Oh, not sure what you mean now. I know that any repairs will at best repair something to WORN. Are you saying if it gets damaged again, duct tape won't work twice?

You can get a few uses out of duct tape. It has a percentage of how much is left.

I'm sure I read another post somewhere where someone said they'd used it. Maybe it was pc version though

Yeah, found two so far. Found one last night in Tisy military base. I think they work too if you put a battery in.

Are you sure that's for backpacks? The only thing I've managed to repair backpacks with so far is duct tape.

Yeah, this is quite irritating. I think it's also a needless bug too because you can actually open and close the compass by tapping RT so Y shouldn't really be needed for that purpose. I'm pretty sure this will be addressed in the controls overhaul which I imagine will be an update at some point.

Well I sound like an asthmatic bull when I'm out of breath, but to be fair, it's probably slightly unbalanced to have females louder than males. Regarding beards... No, women won't be getting that, they get hairy legs instead and they are going to introduce bee hive to gather wax so you can wax your legs

Had a quick Google about and couldn't find an answer, but on the HUD, what's the info displayed on bottom left above the stamina bar. Some sort of hammer icon?
