I'm not sure if one is better than the other. Personally prefer the m4 because I prefer the acog scope. Mags for both are found in barracks and military tents but you'll probably also find lots in sniper towers around military base perimeters. -

I must admit, I do miss this feature. Every time I climb down a ladder I press it, hear the noise and then get disappointed! It was funny the other day actually, I was watching Sada and FrankieonPc streaming dayz together. They'd been playing for about an hour and frankie got bumped off a ladder and died. He thought it was funny that ladder death was still a thing three years after he stopped playing!

Is a big coastline. Are you telling me you can't get off the beach without being shot? You make it sound like the D-day landings.

I've been revived by a friend and also revived him. Once after someone spawned in and knocked him out. I killed the guy and then revived him before the zombies feasted. It's probably pointless if you're on your own when a zombie knocks you out, but if a friend or passerby takes out the zombie then the uncon becomes pretty valuable. Keep it.

You got all that one day after a wipe? If so, shouldn't take you long to get set up again then.

I kind of agree, pointless having lots of empty servers. If rather see less servers with more people in. It's only been a day since the wipe. No biggy.

I have a pristine rangefinder which I have fitted with a battery but can't seem to get it working. Is there something I need to press or is it faulty at the moment?

Yeah, I thought the mosin was pretty cool as a sawn off. Oddly though, since the update, I've never found a mosin again.

I'm not a gun expert but I suspect it isn't possible as it would interfere with the pump action. Probably only get half a pump and the shell will just roll out the end of the barrel

Probably because it's a pump action. I guess if they add a normal shotgun you'll be able to saw that off

Probably worse once a month, just longer to get attached to your character and base! Should try not to get attached, use game preview to try things out.

I use both too I like to see my character but tend to switch to fpp when looting or in contact. Would love fpp servers though.

They are testing it...we are testing it by playing it in game preview. That's what game preview is for. If you want to play a finished game you should probably wait until full release otherwise you'll find it quite a frustrating experience.

Tried it again on a different server and it's working now. For some reason my server setting keep defaulting to no messages and I have to switch them back when I join the server. Not sure if that's normal or not. Apologies for doubting your word, my bad.

I had this last night at zeleno. Some guy had taken pot shots at me and I ducked into a train carriage to bandage. The guy ran past outside and I got some shots of on him and he hobbled off with zombie aggro. But several zombies decided to join me in the carriage and one was glitched in the floor. Couldn't shoot or melee him and that earned me a trip back to the beach! Dont know if the guy survived but I hope he died a miserable death!
