The game has progressed more in three months than in six years on pc. Console players have a great debt to pc players for their contribution to the game. Personally, I'm loving playing the game regardless of the current bugs. The qualities of this game which make it so unique outweigh the bugs that come and go. In my opinion.

I do like night time in the game but I did find it unplayable when it was pitch black for hours. I found it odd sometimes that torches seemed to be brighter at dusk than at night. When we first got the night cycle, it was dark but you could still make out vague details, at least enough to see the road. But when we had that endless night with the rain a while back, my screen was just black. Now that we have only had the sunshine for a while, I'm missing the night again!

No, the mods remove abusive messages. A quick glance through the threads will clearly reveal that they don't mind criticism as long as it's constructive and doesn't become a slanging match. I didn't bother replying to the op as he had nothing constructive to add and is just another rant by a player expecting something highly polished, like Battlefield V (lol, that was sarcasm, by the way. Just in case, you know, you thought I actually meant BFV was highly polished)

I'm an old battlefield player and I like being able to hit LT and be aiming down sight/scope depending what the weapon is set to.

I'm not sure about when loot spawns in regards players presence but if a building has been looted it will respawn within a couple of minutes. Again, I couldn't say precisely how long, but I've looted buildings and then gone back within five minutes and loot has respawned The day night cycle was added but then got messed up so at dusk, it will suddenly get dark for approx five minutes and then gets light again. This has caused many people great upset, but personally I don't see the pleasure in watching a completely black screen for an hour or two so the longer they take to fix that particular problem, the better! Not sure what the restart schedule is on xbox, but I'm sure I've played at least five hours straight without a restart.

I watched a clip from a mate where he shot a zombie through a wall using an svd but I don't know about other weapons.

I find hit reg fine as long as ADS, but I play mostly fpp anyway so not really an issue.

I've tried pressing Y to reload whilst holding LT and it doesn't always work. At the moment, Y is to unreliable to use so I always just use hotbar.

You need to put a loaded mag in the hotbar I think. Only done it once, ages ago, so could be different now. I'll try it out tomorrow.

Just add a loaded mag to your hotbar the same way you would with a gun, etc. When you select it using the hotbar it reloads the gun.

Yes, and you also need them enabled to get read outs from rangefinders!

Yeah, but maybe these restrictions should be imposed only if changing server and not if rejoining the same server. I realise this wouldn't solve ghosting, but would prevent loot hoppers. I would hate to wait fifteen minutes and find myself five kilometers away just because my game crashed out the server kicked me out. I wonder how big an issue ghosting is. I haven't personally had any problems with it though I have read on here people that have. Maybe just the time out which increases incrementally with every server change within an hour? If a ghosting player has to wait to change server, reposition, and then wait longer again to respawn I couldn't see it being a viable strategy.

Yes, sometimes if you have multiple items assigned to the hotkey, pressing Y just cycles through rather than reloads. What I have found though is if this happens, fire the empty weapon and then press Y and it should reload. Alternatively, and more reliably, do as Survivor1431 suggests. This also works.

I'm not sure about this one year rule. It may exist but there have certainly been exceptions, Ark being one of them.

Yep to all that! I wouldn't be against AI npcs if it was restricted to private server options, but certainly not as part of the vanilla game.

It's probably already been said somewhere but I think that only using game chat is an interesting option but only viable if everyone on the server does the same. Maybe if like hardcore servers, the actual server is set to game chat only. Maybe even make it so that hardcore servers have game chat only.

Ah OK, I found a car in a garage that was floating a couple of feet in the air. I went back the next day and it was gone so I wasn't sure if it had despawned or the owners had saved it.
