Duping, ghosting and server hopping have been in the game for years and people have been discussing it on the forums for years. Why hijack a thread completely unrelated to it when there are already numerous threads dedicated to it. Just saying.

Forums are for discussing all sorts of issues. Not just moaning about the same issue in every thread that the devs are already aware of. 🤔

It's a shame too because the exclusive game aspect will generally determine which console you stick with. Forza vs Gran Turismo etc. I only play on xbox one because I had a 360 and so all my online friends are, by default, xbox players. It reminds me of the vhs/betamax competition. Unfortunately, it isn't always the best one that wins either.

Well I've found a couple now in apartment buildings. I also found one at a heli crash site. Maybe one in a barracks once too, but I couldn't swear to it.

I don't know this for certain but I think the issue is with Sony. They wouldn't allow cross platform with minecraft and I gather that they are also not going to allow it with CoD Modem Warfare. Apparently they'll only allow it cross platform with pc. Not sure if Sea of Thieves allowed it?

I always carry a cooking pot with had bottle and stove. Fully built it takes the same number of slots as the pot on its own. You can fill it with a ton of water which you can then boil to purify. Also store items in it. Cooking pots FTW!

Make two stacks of six rags by combining them in your inventory. Then combine the two stacks and it should give you the option to make rope.

Wow yeah, the reviewer is obviously used to playing minecraft! He didn't even understand the persistence aspect. I wonder if he even played the game or just cobbled a review together from anecdotal gripes!

You shouldn't need to hold it in your hand first though. If it's in vicinity or inventory just press Y (on xbox, so I guess your equivalent is triangle). Word of advice, if the server is about to restart, don't start dropping things on the ground to swap then as you might lose them.

You've either been drinking dirty water or raw meat. Not sure if charcoal tablets or other drugs work at the minute, I've never tried. I'm a little picky about what I eat!

Lol, I had a bad experience on a ladder not long after it first released on console. I was climbing a radio tower and started bouncing up and down erratically. Didn't know what else to do other than relog. It's a good way to teleport to the beach and get some free fruit and a flare.

Well, if that's your outlook on a survival game maybe try minecraft. It's a lot easier.

Most of those hours have been pretty darn good thanks. And I've never fallen through the map, had my inventory disappear or been rolled back. Ever.

Some people just love to hate. I'm at around 800 hours in game now. I think that's about three pence per hour. I went to see a film at the weekend and it cost me £12 for two hours. The film was shit. Shall we talk about value for money??

I play on regular xbox one and only seem to get poor frame rate and rendering on big cities at the moment. The server I play on seems pretty decent. I did play on another server this morning that a friend was on and it was stuttering quite badly just out in the forests. Roughly same number of players. Possibly proximity to players or bases or buried stashes? Not sure, but some servers seem better than others. Not sure if anyone else finds this?
