I kinda know what you mean. I rarely play on 3pp servers but whenever I have, I hate the way my character looks when he's sprinting. Jogging is fine. Don't know what it is, just looks derpy unless he's sprinting with a rifle in his hands. The generic animating used for crafting is pretty dumb too, but I don't mind it. It's almost iconic now, lol. -

I literally only had half an hour to play around on it and it was night time so I couldn't fully see the effect. Hopefully they'll get it running nicely though for stable. There appears to be some issues with collision detection currently. -

Can't find any way to turn these on anymore. Did they break on the last update?

Yeah, I'm on xbox. The radial hotbar option is no longer there, and Y doesn't work either. I don't even get the option to turn it on when I'm holding it. Pristine condition and pristine battery with charge on it. Really odd. Edit... I'm an idiot. Thought the battery was full. It was empty. Doh!

We used to be able to eat worms. Also, cooked worms acted like heat packs which was ridiculous. Anyway, for whatever reason they removed this some time ago.

Simple idea that makes sense and would also encourage players to grow the extra ingredients. Then be rewarded by the benefits. Can't see why this would sadden anyone.

@Roostercake, you seem to be taking this whole thread very personally. Nobody was trying to shoot you down, just trying to discuss what would make sense in the context of the game. Sadly you felt the need to respond by slagging people off. Never a good way to present an argument.

I don't think money would have any value post-event. Gold, maybe. I imagine nails and building materials and ammo would be pretty good currency and have more value than IOU's from an abandoned banking system.

I've had no issues with frame rate personally. Regarding the mic issue, do you have a third party controller? If so, it defaults the mic to off every time you load the game. Try going down to mic setting to check it.

Yeah, always struck me as odd that you couldn't cook the rice. I imagine it's quite unpleasant crunching on dried rice. It should give good nutrition but can only be eaten if cooked. The potato thing is also weird.

Yup, all solid ideas here. The Long Dark had the feature carrion flying above deer corpses. As for clothing, the only point I can see for wraps is if you can't find shoes. But honestly, I've never been without shoes since game released

Kids have more sense. They're just pissed off because the game they've been complaining about for ten years still doesn't do what they want it to do, but now they have console release as a scape goat for that. And, like entitled kids, they can't understand why stamping their feet hasn't got them their own way.
