I'm happy with current night, in fact I'm sure it's slightly lighter than before. -
I think the night is just right as it is now. Barely see just enough to navigate by. I like travelling at night.

Well I've been running around at night able to see roads and other things just enough to be able to navigate around. If anything, I'd say night is every so slightly lighter than before. I'm sure it doesn't last as long either, but haven't timed it yet. -
Are you absolutely sure you are rejoining the same server? Because if you're not, that's why your spawn point keeps resetting. I have no clue what the Narnia reference is meant to be.

I'll be honest and say I want expecting such an improvement in frame rate in big cities but so far it is really good. Get the occasional stutter every now and again, but barely noticeable. I played on two different servers yesterday. The first server I played on most of the day until I died. It ran really smoothly. I swapped server with a newish spawn to see where it would throw me. It seemed quite far inland but was dark so couldn't tell for sure. One thing I noticed though, this second server seemed to have a very slight lag opening doors that the first server didn't have. Not sure what would cause that.

My point is that you don't need to change server and it sounds like admins don't have the option to kick or ban players

I think the night is OK as it is in terms of illumination and length, but I would like maybe another hour of daylight, even if that was a longer dusk/dawn. I like the half light at these times. Very atmospheric. -

I can confirm that duping is still possible. Me and @bearjew1101 did it accidentally last night. I have pm'd impulz about it.

I don't think it's supposed to, it is just designed to knock them back so that you don't get pinned in a corner. This is the best state the game has been on for a long time, especially crabbe rates. Can't believe you're upset over the drop item button.

Well, I'm four hours in and so far the game has run incredibly smoothly and I've had no issues with anything. Food, drink, inventory, melee, infected, all seem to be working as intended. Haven't fired a round yet though. One thing I am curious about though, can anyone confirm that voip is actually working. Just bumped into a dude at balota Town and hailed him from behind a fence. At first I thought he heard me because he darted into a house. But then he came out and carried on looting buildings even though I was talking to him in voip, seemingly oblivious of my presence.

This is console, sounds like you're on pc so possibly different? I know that if you handle raw meat so that they are blood stained and then use your hands to drink from a well it certainly used to make you ill, so possibly yes. I like it, but it is odd to have such immersion around hand hygiene! -

Ok , good to know. Sounds like a server side issue which should be fixable without too much hassle. Perhaps server owners should request a refund for each day the issue persists? -

Yes it was, raw chicken definitely made you ill, as did drinking dirty water. -

Um, sounds like you're having a bad day. Have you considered taking note of the server you're on? Also, try searching boats on the beach for food and drink.
