I was mostly surprised that I found one in a cargo container. But its been that long since I found one maybe its normal. I laugh now when I think about how on the early days of console, you could pick up an M4 in the cherno tents, or that checkpoint up the road!

I'm not aware of any aim assist. It certainly didn't exist last night when I was dealing with a zombie problem at some tents.

Had a weird inventory bug last night on a private server. I have a barrel stashed near a car I'm fixing up. I put some stiff in the boot. Went back to it later to get an axe out of the car and I couldn't take it out. It let me take shotty shells and a can of beans, but not the axe. It wouldn't even let me drag it into my empty hands. Anyway, logged back in this morning and it was working fine.

I only tried shooting and punching. Didn't have any other tools. I heard that you can shoot locked doors open and also use brute force but maybe that's only on wooden doors?

Update on scopes... Been using the combat sights with the red dot. They seem to be working OK. Which scope isn't working?

Not sure, but I came across a locked gate yesterday and couldn't open it with anything. Tried punching it, shooting it and swearing at it. How do you break open locked gates?

Spelling is probably off, Russian was never my strongest. Anyway, the camp on the west, just up from the dam and hunting camp. It was odd actually because one M4 was in a tent. I had a zombie problem and it was night time. Having made a large pile of zombies beneath the camo tower, I had a second look round the camp because it was getting light. Low and behold the second one was in a cargo container. I either missed it the first time or it spawned in while I was dealing with the locals!

Spent several hours looking through mil bases. Had given up looking for assault rifles. Then found two m4's at once at Mishkino tents! Then spent ten minutes playing the inventory mini game, torturing myself over what items to dump 🤔

Last night I had that weird glitch again when looking through a barrel. When you move the cursor, the window contents jump up and down. So it let's you select any item but its confusing as hell!

The only problem with locking doors and gates is that they unlock upon server restart. It also only takes a few seconds to take down a fence with a hatchet. You're better off burying loot in chests or stashing barrels under water.

I wasn't aware the spawns had changed. I seem to be getting spawns on the usual places. I've noticed the server hop spawn points tend to be quite well inland generally. At least, that's my experience so far except for one that spawned me right opposite balota barracks.

Sounds good. I'm out doing a bit of real fell walking tomorrow so will be on in the evening. What time you all meeting up? I've just come off the server and currently just outside pavlovo mil base.

Probably even more annoying for the guy I did it to. Normally I would have a nose around in someone's stash, maybe take something, maybe leave something. After five minutes of pricking about I just thought stuff it!

I found someones barrel stash in an apartment up novo way and couldn't select items in it so I just emptied the whole barrel in order to get the one item I wanted.

Aside from cars, what's the general frame rate like on Playstation? I know that pre 1.04 there were some complaints but since 1.04 so far, for me, frame rates have been really good. I've played mostly on official High pop but also had a couple of hours on @Man Parts 241 server. There were only a couple of people on but it seemed fine too.

I can't remember either Also only driven a car once since 1.04 and so far so good. As I stated elsewhere, that was a high pop official server. I really enjoy the challenge of getting the cars up and running. It's a fun objective. But generally I don't bother because you can guarantee someone will find it and pinch it between sessions! The last car I had lasted about a week. I had a remote shed I used to lock it in and would strip every part off it and bury in chests nearby but it still got pinched eventually! Good times though 😎

I recall oil being tricky to put in. I think I used to have to stand on the engine to do it, or was it water, I can't remember now! Anyway, I think I remember someone else saying that oil was bugged and not required currently. I think what @SillyJoe might be referring to is that if you over rev the engine so that the rev counter goes into the red, that can damage the engine quite quickly.
