Has anyone noticed the appearance of barrels in police stations lately? Three times I've found them in three different police stations upstairs right in the doorway of the right hand most room. At first I thought someone had placed it there in an effort to block the door. You can climb over it into the room but it's a hell of a struggle to get out again and you can't pick them up. Is this a spawn location or some strange exploit of some sort?

No, I just found it amusing that you call everyone an idiot but can't string a coherent sentence together. I have not commented on whether I agree with alt accounts or not. You just assume things about people without listening to what people are actually saying. You are ill informed and fail to understand how the loot economy works.

8 direction analog stick controls

It would be interesting to add a mechanic, similar to soft skills, that the more miles you run the less sway. In fact, as I think about it, it would be funny to start as an overweight, unfit fresh spawn, and build up your fitness as you progress. Just thinking out loud here! -
This is true. Currently carrying a blaze with scope, a sawn off and just picked up an AK74 or whatever its called. Also got a suppressed pistol for back up. Seriously thinking about ditching the AK though. I hate carrying too much stuff. The blaze hasn't got the scope fitted. I just keep it in my inventory. If I see someone at range I have time to attach it. I also use the scope on my hotbar instead of binoculars.

Sounds about right, but I still like the idea of hoarding crap. Kinda like some crazy old post apocalypse nut case survivor. "hey, come back to my base my friend, I have lots of great loot for you..."

I love the sawn off shorty and the blaze anyway so not really bothered about military loot. Feels more survivorish

It would be funny to build a huge base and fill it with dozens of crates full of crap. Then see the reaction of people when they raid it

Very true, though I often find pistol suppressors in them. I tend to avoid them too though, they tend to be idiot magnets!

Can't remember what sort of barrels. Someone on reddit today said that fire barrels have to cool down before you can move them, but I'm sure they're bugged because I've found fresh spawned fire barrels that haven't been used and couldn't move them.

I can't imagine any radical redesign happening. They are looking at an inventory bug currently but I think the general design will stay as it is. I think the next update will allow you to allocate specific space on the inventory for specific items. I belive pc has this already?? I do think though it just sounds like getting used to it. I often struggle with new games. I hated the way pubg did it and I played witcher 3 briefly and found that awkward too. I gave up on that game, mainly because the whole game felt clunky.

What's wrong with the inventory? I seem to manage perfectly well. Just takes getting used to.

The proper fishing hook seems to be more durable than the bone hook, which would make sense. I assume you're talking about the metal hook though? You can also fish in streams as well as ponds in case you didn't already know. Not sure about the streams you can't drink from but certainly the other ones. You can also fish at the beach too if course, and it's pretty easy to find!

I wouldn't mind hooking up with some forum familiars at some point. The only problem is that I work odd shifts, have my son on weekends and a wife that is still recovering from the shock of discovery she married a gamer. But, if all the conditions are met and the planets are in conjunction gimme a shout... conart70

I think I would have preferred a separate character on each. Having said that, it would be interesting for a character developed in chernarus to be able to travel to livonia. I loved the old frankie videos where he would get a boat or a heli and 'travel' to another map. I played livonia a fair bit when it released and really like the map, but recently went back to chernarus and it felt like going home. Probably going to stay here a while. Nice to have livonia option when I need a vacation though.
